What a fun spot! Parking is definitely the biggest downside, but they do offer valet ($12, or $20 if you pick up your car after closing). Seating is first come, first served, so no reservations. You order at the counter, they bring the food to your table, and you pick up your wine at the bar. The chicken sliders and mussels were easily our favorites of the night. I started with a glass of Prosecco and wasn't a fan, but my second choice, the Grenache Blanc from Civilization Wine Co., was excellent. We'd definitely come back. Next time, though, we'd probably just Uber.

A regular spot for us to try unique vintage wines. Their selections are incredible! Food, service, and ambiance is a 10 out of 10!! Zaitouna always helps us and is extremely informative and just awesome but Regardless of who helps you, you won't be disappointed. Love this hidden gem!

Wha a gorgeous little wine bar. Augustine's is a cute, cozy, yet elegant place for a vibey drink. The ambiance is wonderful, options to sit at a table, the bar, they even have cozy couches for more casual patrons and events. The bookshelves filled with wine related books, and the gorgeous decorations in the bathroom were such a careful touch. And the lighting? Intimate and welcoming. The service was amazing. Seated at the bar, the sommelier and bartenders (?) were well versed in their wines, incredibly attentive, and just plain nice! They really seem to love what they do and I love that for them. And of course... the wine. The selection is quite extensive and can be overwhelming if you don't know what you like. Thankfully, the type of wine is in bold font to stand apart from the wall of text that is the menu. I ordered a Chardonnay and my friend ordered a Merlot. Both excellent in flavor. I love me a California wine. And thoughtfully paired with the charcuterie board. We arrived fed, so we weren't even hungry, but we basically ate the entire board. I cannot wait to be back to Augustine's. It'll probably make its way into my rotation of places I frequent. Thank you to the staff for such a wonderful experience. See you soon

Last night I met up with a friend to catch up, and she recommended Augustine Wine Bar. I'd seen it in passing but this was the first time I had been inside. I loved the intimate and relaxed feel, and everyone was incredibly attentive. Although their menu is limited, my friend and I found some pretty good dinner options. My friend had the Loch Duart Scottish Salmon while I had the Squid Ink Bucatini and a glass of Chenin Blanc. The bucatini was a little too al dente and a touch salty, but overall it had good flavor. I would highly recommend Augustine Wine Bar for small friend gatherings or a nice date night. Lovely wine bar, looking forward to going back.

We came here after trying Mirabelle Wine Bar (which we loved) and we loved this spot as well. Jake was a pleasure and he was so well informed, I hope to see him there next time! We sampled a few and went with one of the vintage reds and a white from their whites list. They were both so good. The place is also very cozy and I loved the vibes it's a great date spot. We only got the tator tots for food but those were really good. I can't wait to come back and try other wines.

Augustine pours for the discerning palate, with none of the pretense. A romantic date spot, cozy catch-up with friends, and fun solo at the bar too. I usually give a few notes on what I'm in the mood for, and the hosts take care of the rest. The food is pretty good too. It's an interesting mix of options, but there's something for everyone. The standout for me was, surprisingly, the tater tots--not so much the tots themselves, but the scallion emulsion. That dip took them to the next level and made it feel like a gourmet experience. Parking is tricky if you don't opt for valet. There are only a few street spots out front, but I've had luck around the corner in the residential area.

I really wish I could give more than 5 stars! Zaitouna, Jake and Isaiah are excellent hosts! They know all about every wine and are fun people!! Every wine we had was amazing! I love the vintage selection by the glass! The food was so fresh and tasty!! Quite the gem in sherman oaks! I highly recommend it!!

So glad to have finally made it back after they were shutdown due to the fire! I enjoyed a lovely glass of red wine and ordered the squid ink bucatini. I think the pasta would have been better with a lot less salt. Otherwise, the staff were super nice and attentive. Look forward to more trips back!

The staff is amazing the ambience puts me in a classy almost New Orleans vibe. But more modern. The wine is amazing and the cheese plate sets off the flavors of the wines. They explain everything to you if you like. The inception red wine was amazing one of my fav, the other ones I loved I forgot. The wine made me forget . Next time I'll write it all down I'll defiantly go back with besties Quick reviews just for you

Cozy spot in Sherman Oaks that has both amazing wine and food. Cute spot for a date night or a get together with friends! Augustine dooesn't take reservations, we got there pretty early and were able to snag a spot for our party of six in a handful of cozy chairs by the window. As it got later in the evening the place was packed -- so suggest if you can, to get there earlier or be prepared to wait for a seat. To order drinks or food there is a designated spot to order at the bar and then the food is delivered directly to your table. Since we were a party of 6 - we were able to sample a lot of the food. Round one consisted of a cheese and meat platter - very yummy! We ordered the White Bean Hummus toast- the flavors of this were outstanding we loved it so much that for round two we ordered it again! Also in round two we got the grilled seeded bread which came with Vermont butter, the crispy maitake mushroom which included white polenta - can we take a moment of appreciation for this dish, it was so delicious, honestly didn't taste like mushroom the polenta was creamy and all the flavors made it spectacular - and the the short rib pappardelle with charred mushroom ragu - I will dream of this dish, and will be back to just eat this one alone! Couldn't end the fun there, so we shared a couple orders of the salted caramel pot de creme! While they only have one dessert item when were there, it was a 10/10! Don't skip on this dessert. We all had various wines/beers throughout the night. The selection is big and the staff was very helpful in guiding choices, i wanted to enjoy a merlot and had selected a glass that i thought i would enjoy, the bartender asked if i wanted to try another merlot that he thought was more align to what i would like - now you may be thinking this glass was probably more expensive, but it was not! I love that he just really wanted me to have the best merlot while enjoying our bites. Great service, great atmopshere, perfect local spot, so glad they are back open! Valet is available for $12 along with street parking!

    Immaculate vibes.

For starters, I think the pours were kind of lacking? Just feels like much smaller pours than I usually get at wine bars. The menu was pretty small, and apparently out of date because a few of the things we were interested in they didn't have that day. We also had like 3x different people serve us, so by the end of it I wasn't even sure who I should be asking for the check. My friend and I sat outside, so maybe the service would be better inside or at least at the bar, but it was just kind of... average at best. I think our waitress was new, so she wasn't really able to answer any questions, and the ones she did answer, ended up being corrected later. Which actually is TOTALLY fine, like I totally understand. But then when she brought our first wines, she accidentally knocked one over or hit it with the other glass or something (it happened fast) but it shattered one of the glasses spilling red wine everywhere, and even a drop on my white shirt!! She was suuuuuuper apologetic, and I can tell she felt bad, and we were not mad. We just kept saying that its okay and accidents happen. She did even bring me soda water for my shirt. Then, we asked if we can do the charcuterie plate with just cheese and no meats (we don't eat pork) and she said sure. She told us the number of cheeses to choose, we did, but then we got a lesser number served to us by a different waiter, and incorrect cheeses. He kindly brought one of the missing cheeses, but informed us that the lesser amount was actually the correct amount for this menu item. Okay, we would have chosen differently had we known that, but alright. Maybe I'm delusional, but between the cheese mixup and the wine spillage (and staining my white shirt), I kind of half expected a little something from them. Like comping one of the four glasses of wine, or maybe an extra little top off or something to say "hey sorry we're a mess today." I would never ASK for it, because as it was I felt bad for the girl who was new, so we just paid (and tipped of course) and left. Overall, its just nothing to write home about...
