Great Drinks, just what you need after a long day at Universal Studios. Try the Old Fashion. It will not disappoint.

    Brentwood Boss signature cocktail

We love this bar! My boyfriend and I drop by now and then since we had our first date here years ago. It's a lovely and welcoming lounge bar in the BLVD hotel right off the 101. Krystal is a rockstar bartender and makes a lot of the infused liquors in house. Try the Brentwood Boss - lavender and cucumber perfection! They also do fun things like Movie Night. Tonight they have $5 beers, $6 signature cocktails, free popcorn and Mad Max! Stop in for a cozy cocktail. Or two. :)

Free beer or wine for guests at the Hotel

Small bar, quiet, makes for a good spot to talk and hangout before hitting up Universal. Plus you get a free glass of wine, or beer if you're staying at the hotel.

Specialty Mule drink of the day!

This bar was amazing. I'm staying at the hotel and the staff was so nice and friendly. Shay was my bartender and she mixed my drinks perfectly, not skimpy on the alcohol but not overloading it either. The price points are very fair especially during their happy hour and they have lots of different local beers on hand and a VERY full bar.

    Great happy hour and atmosphere!

Great hand crated specialty drinks, along with friendly staff and good happy hour. A super big plus to the hotel stay

Whiskey Sour! It was too beautiful to drink. Delicious and refreshing.

Checked and saw a sign for free booze! During happy hour you can get free beer or wine! I'm not into beer or wine too much, but it was free!

It's a restaurant with an overall speakeasy vibe BUT is not dark and foreboding. Rather, its high ceilings, well spaced out tables, and appropriately lit dining/bar space has a welcoming, cool vibe! And the music to fill the space before the live music was well, my kinda music - vibey 80s/90s hip hop. On top of that, the STAFF - the folks we met on a Monday (senior citizen hour) night were incredibly kind and attentive. We did stay through the first set of musicians that performed and it was great. Loud, but not loud enough that me and my friend couldn't still talk. Now onto the food. A nice surprise, considering this is a music joint! That bread was solid. The side portions decent - mushrooms and broccoli were fine. The steak was a generous size, cooked appropriately medium rare, and came with a unique side of bone marrow salsa. That was a nice, interesting touch. Was it the BEST food I've ever had? Not exactly, BUT it was the best food as part of a music joint, in the Valley. So the 5 star rating is really for the OVERALL experience.

We came in at 7:30pm on Wed. 7/10/26 and they were having a special collaboration prefix dinner between Chef Oscar Torres and Chef Joe Garcia. Normally this is an à la carte restaurant, but tonight was a special event. They offer valet parking or you can park at a meter on Lankershim. You would never even guess there is a restaurant here when you look at the building from the outside. The name of the restaurant isn't even visible anywhere. Once you walk in, it's like you are transported to another world. The place was packed and the music was bumping. The vibes were immediately great and the moody lighting made for some cool ambience. We were seated immediately and our table happened to be right in front of the band stand. They were absolutely OUTSTANDING and the highlight of the evening! You could tell every single person in the quartet really felt every note they were playing in their soul. The harpist was exceptionally good. It was such a joy to listen to them while we ate our meal. Speaking of our meal, it was 7 courses with each chef using the same ingredients to create completely different dishes. It was a cool concept and everything tasted very good. Very fresh and excellent quality ingredients in every dish. The meal had 2 downsides for me and one of them was the dessert. It was a coconut pudding with some sort of fruit granita on top, with a slice of melon on ice. It felt cheap, almost as if there wasn't even any effort in coming up with something substantial and decent. The pudding itself was grainy, and the granita was already melted when it came to the table. For me, it didn't taste good and it didn't work. The other downside was the wait time between the risotto course and the fish course. Our server told us "they're super backed up with the Halibut in the kitchen", so I'm not sure what happened. It was about a 30 minute wait before we got the fish, but I will say it was cooked to perfection. I really liked this place and would like to try it again under regular circumstances. I've heard a lot of good things about their food and I'd like to try things from their actual menu. This experience was a 4-star, but maybe next time it will be a 5-star.

Fast forward, I live down the road now. Didn't remember the name or place. But my partner and I wanted to attend the "Krampus Cove"event. Which we had done at another location two years ago. We were stoked that it was at a new spot, and so close! We went on a Sunday afternoon. So it wasn't packed. Had a booth to ourselves. The decor inside was amazing. And the show was hysterical and fun. The actors are so great. Now as far as the bar goes - we plan to go back during normal operating hours and times (hopefully soon). And I can comment more. But I will say I'm excited to go back because the cocktails are super delicious, AND they have daily happy hour (5-8pm if I'm not mistaken). Huge plus. The only negatives are the parking. Very little parking lot so that could be tough on a busy day. And the service was mid. There was one friendly bartender, and another one that just may have been having a rough day. But I didn't feel really welcomed or attended to. Rest of the staff was great!

Definitely make a reservation, weekdays are chill, but weekends get busy in the best way. The ambience is what really makes it stand out. It genuinely feels like you've stepped into Tulum the dim lighting, earthy tones, and that effortlessly elevated vibe that makes you want to stay all night. The food is solid (seriously, order the pasta), and getting there isn't a hassle with both valet and street parking options. I do wish they had something going on earlier in the week though, because a Monday night here is underrated and deserves more hype. Drinks are a highlight too. My go-to is the "Divorce Papers"--just trust me on that one. And the service? That's where they really separate themselves. Narek runs the place in a way you don't see often always present, always aware, making sure everything flows smoothly without missing a beat. It creates an experience that feels taken care of without being over the top. Overall, it's a true go-to right now. Great crowd, great music, and an atmosphere that keeps you coming back. Easily one of the best spots on Ventura right now !
