I am far away from this Auntea; it's like a long distance relative. I would only come where if I am really really craving for the halo-halo smoothie that is a taro base. I think it has ube (purple sweet potato), leche flan (egg custard), and choice of other toppings, which makes this deliciously one of a kind in the bubble tea business. Seriously terrible service. Waited over a 10 minutes for anyone to acknowledge I was there. Had to say "hello? Helloooo?" like I was trying to call out some ghosts in a haunted film only for someone to come out and say "oh hey, just a minute, the guy thatt does the boba went out". Another 10 minutes...see a guy attempt to back in a huge ass parking spot not once, not twice, BUT THRICE only to walk back in, not acknowledge us for another 5ish minutes, then rudely ask "what is it?". We gave our order and waited another 10 minutes (standard and fine), the mango was delicious while the macha and jam (it was literally the jelly you put on pb&j) was kinda gross. My husband got the cereal milk tea and it was everything a filipino man can wish for, milky sugary drink with boba. So when a friend took me to AunTea Boba I fell in love with there tea flavors and the decor right off! This boba shop gave me my first experience having strawberry matcha milk tea that was amazing! This will definitely be my new addiction when visiting this shop. To top it off the tea shop is located in this food incubator with some cool eating places to pair with your tea! Pretty good bubble tea, nice to have since there's not much around this area. I've come here several times with my boyfriend, and from the regular milk tea to taro, rose oolong milk tea and osmanthus oolong tea, they've all been consistently good. The teas are surprisingly good here- I'm not sure what I expected but the quality is definitely there, and the bubbles are honey bubbles and freshly made with good texture. Honestly this is my favorite boba place but lately over the course of a couple of months, the service has seriously deteriorated. I've had my drinks forgotten and I'm sitting there for up to 30 minutes. When I ask the barista what's happening, I'm always met with attitude and eye rolls and it's really upsetting. I'm so thankful to finally have a boba shop in Ft. Washington. It's a pretty good one, too! They have a lot of unique flavor & toppings to choose from. I've tried a couple of the options and they're pretty good. I just wish that they had options to lower their sugar & ice levels like other popular boba places bc I usually like my boba less sweet & with less ice, but with the lack of other options, I can't really complain, I guess. The boba also takes awhile to come out, but maybe that'll improve with more time? I just hope this is the start to new food options in the area! Don't be fooled - this boba spot may be tucked away inside Gigi's Kitchen but it is the star. I 100% recommend it! Drinks: I got the sweet milk tea with boba and wow, I gulped it down in about 3 minutes! It was soooo good. It tastes like a sweeter Hong Kong milk tea. My sister got the cereal milk tea and my boyfriend got the Irish cream milk tea. I don't think they enjoyed theirs as much due to how sweet the drinks were, but I thoroughly enjoyed mine. The boba was done right too, not too firm or soft. Price: $6 for each drink. Was a bit pricey, but I think I justified it since I drove 20 minutes to get to the location and it was super good. Service: The cashier was super friendly! She was really patient with my questions and helped me pick a drink right for me. Overall: The location is super trendy and definitely instagrammable. This is more of 4.5 stars rating. The drinks only comes in 1 size. It's definitely bigger than kung fu tea medium cup though. They dont have a machine shaker so the barista was pretty much shakin it manually. There were some looseleaf tea particles in my drink. Super cute little boba spot! Recently moved from the Bay Area where boba tea is huge! I got super excited when I found out there was a boba spot a few blocks away from where I live!! I've been here twice and i don't have any complaints. I order on the app and I usually get food from Gigi's which is in the same space. My boba is always ready when i arrive and the quality is good. Initially looked up the closest Boba location to me at the time and I found this gem. As soon as you walk in you feel a warm hip lounge to drink and chat. Cute decor on walls with neon lighting and very clean. I would definitely come back again after my experience. The only suggestion I have is on the menu it shouldn't mention "all drinks are customizable" if you cannot mix two fruit tea drink flavors like other establishments. So I was a bit disappointed but on a bright note you can mix the boba + jelly up and they have star + heart jelly options that are yummy in the drinks. For a place that calls itself Auntea Boba ... one would expect to be able to order a drink that with boba. Unfortunately when I came in this past Sunday after lunch and tried to order a couple drinks I was told they were out of boba. Strike one. I then decided to change my entire drink and just get an avocado smoothie, to be met with they were out of ice cream. Strike two. It is about half past noon, how are you out of boba and ice cream? We decided to try their cereal milk tea and their taro slush since I was already there and wanted to see what the hype was about this place. I guess I didn't see it. The drinks were super super sweet, so if you're looking for teas that are less sweet, make sure to let the baristas know, or else you might walk out with a sugar high. Overall, the place is cute, but would I return? Probably not, the prices are a little higher than other boba places and the drinks aren't quite as tasty. I'd rather stick to Kung Fu Tea or Gong Cha even if they are a bit of a further drive for me. read more

The Fruit Tea tasted watered down and wasn't sweet like I expected it to be. I brought my mom and she ordered the Taro Slushie with Honey Boba and Taro Pudding.
