They have a lot of good options for Boba and other drinks in here. This is my 2nd time coming and the food was always great. They have burgers inside too so a little of both makes the experience better. The service is great with the cashier being so patient and friendly. They have games and tables inside which makes the place so comfortable.

This was probably the only boba place with good reviews around the area and it was definitely really good! I came with three other friends and all four of us agreed this place was great. I love the wall art and the bright lighting. The drinks came out really fast too within minutes. My favorite drinks were the strawberry marble and strawberry calamansi! My other friends liked their strawberry matcha and halo halo. The only criticism I have is the floors were pretty dirty but that's typical of a sticky drink shop. We will come back again when we are in the area!

I found this spot when I searched Boba on Yelp. It is in the cut, it was a little ride but I would definitely return! It's a chill vibe, they had 90s R&B playing when I visited. They also had board games available for you to play. The drinks were very flavorful. We order the Mango smoothie with strawberry poppers, Strawberry smoothie and a plain Mango smoothie. The service was better fast.

We stopped by on the way to visiting Fort Washington Park. This boba spot is recommended by both Eater and WaPo, so we thought it would be promising. We got: Thai Tea, 50% Sweet, Regular Ice w/ Honey Boba ($6.65) - This drink was way too sweet, probably would be something like 150% sweet in other boba shops. The ice used in the drink was crushed ice. Given they brew the tea on demand, I thought it was strange that they wouldn't use large ice cubes which would be slower to melt and dilute the drink. Funny thing is, after completely melting, the drink was still way too sweet. At least it did have the correct Thai tea flavor - they definitely brew it rather than making it from powder. The boba was overcooked, super soft and soggy. The claim this is honey boba, but it did not have either the texture or taste of honey boba. I don't think they soak the boba in anything because it was bland compared to the sweet drink. Black Mix Milk Tea, 50% Sweet, Light Ice w/ Honey Boba ($6.90) - This drink was only a bit too sweet, probably equivalent to 70% at other places. The tea had a slight roasty and fragrant taste that reminded me of high mountain oolong. It mostly tasted like dairy though. The ice was completely melted by the time I got the drink and the boba was the same as above. Both drinks were pretty mediocre. AunTea Boba has some pretty creative drinks - Buko Pandan, Halo-Halo, etc. Maybe stick to those instead of the standard drinks.

Amazing boba tea! The taro milk tea was perfectly creamy with just the right level of sweetness, and the boba pearls were soft and chewy. I loved the variety of toppings they offer I tried the grass jelly, and it was delicious. The shop has a bright, modern vibe, and the staff was super friendly. I'll definitely be back!

Best boba spot in town! The jasmine green milk tea was refreshing and fragrant, and the boba pearls were perfectly cooked. They offer a lot of customization, which I loved I went with half sugar, and it was just right. The staff is always welcoming, and the place has such a fun, trendy atmosphere.

A boba lover's dream! The brown sugar milk tea here is incredible rich, sweet, and full of caramelized flavor. The pearls were warm and had the perfect texture. The staff was helpful and recommended some great options. The shop was clean and inviting, with cozy seating for hanging out with friends.

Awesome drinks especially the halo halo!! Talk about legit eye opening drink experience! The place is pretty cool but one young girl needs to put a smile on her face when serving or places like this fade to black quick...Feel me!?! Drink was excellent, the ambiance inviting and interesting and just a good gem of a find for a cool, unique and delicious drink. Know go find a smiley mask for Ms. Happy or I mean unhappy! Even with that noise the place is a legit 5.

Cute place, horrible drinks. I only bought boba here and it was a disappointment. Hopefully the food is good though. Drinks: I got the taro and tiramisu boba tea drink. It tasted like it was watered/milked down, so there wasn't much flavor. The boba was soft on the outside, hard on the inside. I didn't even want to finish the drink. It's disappointing because I thought it would live up to its hype. Service: There was no greeting or even a thank you. They basically just stare at you and let you do all the talking. I don't believe that they're smiling behind their masks too. Overall: I'll probably never get drinks here again.

Ordered the cookies and cream boba. The store was a little hard to find but it was next to the 711. It tastes great and fast service!!

Very cute cafe! And they sell some Filipino food. I'm giving this place a 3-star for lack of hospitality for a new establishment. As I entered, I wasn't welcomed or even saw smiles. I felt uncomfortable and almost unwelcomed. Of course, I did not let that get to me and I continued to order. The prices are but expensive and I I understand small businesses. However I have purchased the same kinds of drinks in NoVa for slightly cheaper. Same ingredients, no powder. My drink was good and creamy but a bit too sweet. The ambiance is hip and intimate. It's a little disorganized. The workers could clean up a bit. I'll probably give this place another chance sometime later this summer since it's still fairly new. There's always room for some improvements.

Yay!! Milk tea in Fort Washington! Located right inside Gigi's Kitchen by the gas station. Easy parking. Convenient to grab after getting food from Gigi's (or any of the nearby establishments). Not that much seating to hang out though. Today was the soft opening so they're still figuring things out. I got the sweet milk tea - even at half sweet it was still pretty sugary; it was also very white which was interesting-I didn't get the 'tea' vibe from it. I also got the black milk tea, which I personally liked more because it had a fragrant tea flavor- the level at half sweet was perfect. You can see them brewing the tea fresh which is awesome. They have some good looking topping options including your standard honey and sugar bobas, but also the bursting ones! They have a lot of fruity flavors and have some slush other drink options as well. I'll definitely be back... need to try that cereal milk tea!!!

First time here and I am surprised by how good it is. My sister lives in Maryland and brought me here because I wanted boba and I'm not familiar with the area. From the outside, it look kind of sketchy by but this place is considered a hole in the wall because, interior is aesthetic and cute. We ordered the halo halo smoothie, cereal milk and green Thai tea. All were pleasant. We also ordered the pork buns and ube buns, which were also good. I hope o can come back before I leave. Till then, let's sip!!!

I arrived right at opening--11:30 on the dot--which turned out to be perfect timing. I grabbed a seat outside under the cool, shaded overhang. Lovely atmosphere overall, though the piped‑in music felt a bit loud. Maybe I was just extra sensitive because of the mood I was in. My waitress greeted me promptly and professionally, and I ordered the shrimp and grits along with the ginger broccoli. A few minutes later, the shrimp and grits arrived--a generous portion, but the texture immediately threw me off. Instead of the creamy, velvety consistency I expect and love, the grits leaned gelatinous, almost set, which made the dish feel a bit off. The flavor was there, but the texture wasn't my preference, and the overall balance didn't quite land. This fusion, for me, missed the mark. The ginger broccoli was okay--bright, fresh, and nicely seasoned--but it could've used a little more soul. Maybe a quick grill or char to deepen the flavor instead of simply steaming and tossing with sauce and sesame seeds. All in all, an okay meal from a place where I'm used to dishes with more depth and warmth. I hope they revisit the shrimp and grits and bring back some of that Southern richness. I still love Succotash, and I'll definitely return--just probably to try something other than the shrimp and grits next time.

When she asked the person behind the bar why it was too sweet, he spoke to her in a very condescending manner. So she asked if she could get it made again, and they did, only for the second drink to have metal/foil pieces in it. When she brought this to their attention, he was very much like, "Oh well, I don't know what to tell you it's not us the blender is in one piece." I watched my aunt pull three pieces of foil out of her mouth. It was like he just wanted to double down that it couldn't be foil or their fault until another barista said it looked like the foil you pull off milk cartons. Once they all collectively agreed, he offered to make it again. At that point, she didn't want that drink because of the issues beforehand. So she ordered the mango dragonfruit, and he was still condescending because she didn't want it too sweet. The other baristas giggled because they knew his attitude, and you could tell he was annoyed and acting that way purposely. I was a barista for many years, so I get it. You can't make everyone happy, but as I sat and watched this barista's behavior, I felt it was very uncalled for, especially when there were foil pieces in our drink due to a mistake on his part.

The biggest advantage here is the amount of space. There is plenty of seating outside, throughout the main floor, upstairs, and even on the upstairs deck, making it very easy to find a comfortable place to settle in with a drink and stay awhile. The coffee was just as good as expected, and the coffee cake was excellent. The staff was also nice and efficient, keeping everything moving without making the experience feel rushed. The only thing that kept this visit from matching the King Street location was that the space felt a little neglected in comparison. The upstairs bar area, in particular, seemed deserted during our visit, and seeing what appeared to be an expired liquor license posted on the wall gave the impression that the space was once used in a greater capacity, but that's purely just speculation. Overall, it is still a lovely coffee shop with great drinks, plenty of room to spread out, and a relaxed atmosphere.
