This place and all the Auntie Anne's serve the best pretzels and pretzel dogs in the whole wide world. For this location inside the Tacoma Mall, the kids who work here are always working so hard and they're chill, even with the long holiday shopping crowd they manage to keep great service. My pretzels and cheese sauce are always fresh, and they package them neatly so that they dont spill out of the bag (thank you!). I highly recommend Mini Pretzel cup and either Mini Pretzel dog cup or Mini Pepperoni Pretzel cup. Don't skip out on the cheese sauce they're worth those quarters. read more

They gave service with a smile and I like that. The staff member who took my order suggested I order the Mini Pretzel Dogs for they just had came out of the oven. I did and they were DELICIOUS!!! I ordered from here yesterday got home and proceeded to eat my pretzel bites with the hotdogs in it and they were burnt. Very an edible. I tried to call several times yesterday and today and no one answered the phone to try to make things right. Do not go to this place because they're very unprofessional and the service was bad as well. How can you serve inedible food and be comfortable with that probably the first and last time I will go to auntie Anne's Update: I got food poisoning from them. Went to the counter to order, the gentleman asked, "what can I get you?" I replied, "can I get a small cup of original pretzel bites please", both workers were VERY rude with their reply back, saying "the only sizes we have are what you see in this warmer" HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I am 9 months pregnant, don't upset me with your rude tone, I said thank you & walked away. They have two sizes of cups, large & a small with original pretzel bites. Currently sitting at the mall watching the lady making pretzels yell at my mom because we wanted a fresh pretzel, the cold one from 9 am wasn't quite cutting it for us. If I could give this place a zero I would. I was the only person in line.....wait, does that make it a line if i'm the only one there? I was the only customer at the counter....there. It took the employees at least 30 seconds to even acknowledge my presence. They were all laughing and playing behind the counter and had no professional courtesy whatsoever. After the cashier finished giving her co-worker "the hand", like she was saying, "shut up talking to me", she casually walked up to the register and looked at me like why haven't I told her what I wanted to order already. I love getting the cinnamon sugar pretzels. However, what I received was crap. I ordered the cinnamon sugar nuggets in a cup. They basically rip you off by placing presentable nuggets on the top & the rest in the cup are burnt with no sugar coating. So unethical. I'm calling management for a refund. read more

This location has definitely improved over the years. I went there today and the service was great! Staff were really friendly (I talked to the manager and he was incredibly friendly and made small talk as he completed our order) and the store appeared clean and well-stocked. The pretzels were pretty good as well. They have a Coca-Cola Freestyle machone so you can get 100's of combinations of your favorite drinks. Good pretzels, weak service-- As I stood at the counter waiting to be noticed, an employee told me that the order taker would be right out--she was getting her cellphone. Finally she came out from the back, concentrating on her cellphone as she walked up to the counter. Still looking at the phone, she asked me for my order. I gave her my order, and she neither moved nor spoke--she just started texting on her phone, completely ignoring my presence. I stood and watched her for a bit, and then, still tapping away, she asked me how my day was going. When I replied (thinking I was giving her a big hint) that I was in a bit of a hurry, she told me that 4 pretzels would take some time. Mind you, she never stopped tapping at her phone during this whole exchange! When I told her the reason for my being in a hurry, she called out to a coworker, asking her to prepare my pretzels--never so much as looking up from her fascinating phone. Even when she had to punch a few buttons on the register, with her other hand she was holding the cellphone and scrolling through the messages, all attention focused on that stupid phone. Good grief! If I'd been the manager and witnessed that, I would have wanted to fire her on the spot. The sheer crappiness of the service almost made me forget that the pretzels were tasty.
