Disappointing .... one word that describes our experience...ordered roast pork ... it was more like shredded pork ... disappointing

Went here for the first time today and was craving a Loco moco. Got Rudy's Loco which has the hamburger patty, but also included a corned beef patty and Portuguese sausage. It was a TON of food and it was all great! The gravy was perfect and the three eggs over easy showered everything below it with their yolky goodness. Needless to say, but I will be going back to try something different. Staff was friendly and service was excellent! It was ok. I'd rather go to Gardena Bowl....it's the same thing! They have the Hawaiian royal which is the same at gardena bowl. All the same food just the names changed a lil bit. None of these items stood out to me. I guess because I'm from the area and have tried all the Hawaiian food places I was disappointed to say the least. This place, L&L, Waikiki grill and Ono Hawaiian food all have ONE thing in common. They all lack "ALOHA". Someone else left a comment saying it lacked "Hawaiiana "....I couldn't agree with her more. It feels like walking into a Burger King. ‍ If you're looking for REAL AUTHENTIC HAWAIIAN FOOD. You gotta check out Aunty Maile's Hawaiian Food in Torrance off Redondo Bch and Crenshaw Blvd across from ElCo. This place is owned and operated by actual Hawaiians from the Big Island. The food is excellent, the portions are humongous AND you feel the "Aloha" in that place which is something you can't buy. read more

We were looking forward to trying this place because we had heard so many good things about it. Unfortunately, our experience does not seem to match many others that have left rave reviews of this restaurant. The price point of this restaurant is comparable to similar restaurants but what surprised me was that our food was served on tiny styrofoam plates. We also ate with plastic utensils even though we were dining inside the restaurant. You would think that at $13-$15 a plate, food would be served on an actual ceramic plate with metal utensils. The plate was so small that my food spilled off my plate and onto the table. Customer service was lacking and flavor was ok.... Nothing outstanding. read more

Hole in the wall Hawaiian fusion food, but it's pretty darn good! Had the loco moco plate and subbed bacon fried rice. So. Freaking. Good. I'm a big eater, so I was able to finish the whole plate, but can definitely be shared. read more

I came here a few times already. The first couple times were good. We tried the kimchee moco, fried rice, chicken karaage and the spinach and mushroom omelette. The kimchee moco was a huge portion and yummy but I might ask for less gravy next time so I can taste the other food buried under it lol. The chicken karaage was tasty as well. I think it is the favorite so far. The last time was not a good experience though. My mom ordered the Mongolian beef and I had the spicy Korean chicken. The Mongolian beef was super sweet... wayyy too sweet. We were told that they use the teriyaki beef and add other ingredients and that's what becomes the Mongolian beef dish. Not a good thing. Even for teriyaki beef, it was overly sweet. My chicken was not spicy at all or even fried. I had to add sriracha. I thought for something called spicy Korean chicken it would actually be flavorful with garlic and spice. It was very bland. Maybe I was served something else. And then there's the white rice.... very mushy. Hopefully those dishes will be improved in the future. I did enjoy the food the first couple times so I don't want to ding them too much for the last time. Employees are very friendly too. read more

I've been going to TnT for 15 years, super excited they opened up a second location! The menu is great and so is the service.

My first time at this new little cafe. I ordered TNT chicken to go. It was burnt. I called and they were nice about it, but no matter my son had to eat most of my chicken salad which was just O.K. Need a better dressing recipe. Ask Rascal's for theirs. Not a good first impression, but they were nice So I will give it a 2nd try. I've seen this place a couple of times, passed by it every time I'd get boba next door. Didn't come in till the weekend of the Hawaiian festival at alondra. My family and I were trying to figure out what to eat when someone comes along and hands us flyers/ coupons to come check the place out, and so we did. I'm telling y'all that they did not disappoint. We came in and we already knew what we were going to try. One of us got the TNT chicken plate and I got the kimchi fried rice with an egg on top. ALSO don't forget to check in cuz they give you a free spam musubi. We honestly didn't even have to wait long our food came out really quick and service was great! They give you BIG portions here! There were 3 of us and we shared all there items, and still had a lot left over. The chicken was not dry at all and tbh you don't even need sauce cuz they are already flavorful! The roast pork loco moco and the roast pork plate are SO ONO! Rudy's Loco moco and Neil's plate are awesome choices too. Neil's plate has so much food it does not fit in one take out plate. So many good menu items and so reasonably priced. Wish we lived closer so we could come more often. read more

Love this place ! The staff is super friendly and professional, you know they've been in hospitality before ! Family run feel and my kids loved the waffles with whipped cream and berries, yum! I'm writing this review for the owners since I want this place to do well. The workers at the counter are very attentive and friendly so there's a star for that. The place is clean, another star. The food, mainly the karaage, was foul. It may have been a bad batch or cooking. The recipe needs to be revisited. There's too much garlic and the flavor was off. The Hawaiian Royal was decent along with the mac salad. I told my friends about this new place and they said it was meh and ended up at another restaurant to fulfill their hunger. Great Hawaiian food. I came from TNT to give this a try cause its closer to me and I am not disappointed. I tried the Rudy's Loco with fried rice and it came out pretty quick but perfectly cook. Eggs sunny side up and got two beautiful yokes on top. Tasty quick spot. While I was there they were getting calls and having pick ups. So Togo orders are something they seems to handle well. The food is fantastic and the people are extremely nice. I felt very welcomed here. It is really nice to see these types of places. I can see why but has so many regulars.
