The best Aurelio's out of all of them for sure . Everything was cooked to perfection . Even tho I got there early the pizza was done I thought it wouldn't be right or cold but it was perfect. The employees were very nice but the patrons . Lmao " what are you doing in this part of town" vibes . The stares were crazy but good thing I didn't dine in

This place is so cute! It has an old school rustic charm. The cheese sticks were very good. The pizza was even better! I highly recommend this place!

Aurelio's pizza chain has been around since I was a kid. Since then, the quality has been consistent. The sauce, fresh veggies, and crispy thin-crust keep me coming back for more. We stopped by for pizza and wine and were not disappointed. The pizza was thin and crispy and hit the spot. The service was wonderful and everyone greeted us with a warm and welcoming smile. I regret not taking photos of the beautiful fireplace and the festive Christmas decorations inside but my phone needed to be charged. Believe me, when I tell you, it was gorgeous, homey, and memorable.

We moved from Homewood to Crete and like the pizza at the Crete location even more than the original Homewood location.

The other couple had similar food. They serve a bread basket of hot bread, which is terrific and dipping sauce for the bread and the barbecue sauce they bring with the smoked turkey is fabulous. Their coffee is good as well and they have , pistachio gelato for dessert which is great. This is an easy five star restaurant.

The stuffed shells were good. I'd order them again. The gelato was delicious. The apple pie was reminiscent of a few layers of Pillsbury dough whereas I was hoping for an excellent crust balanced with the apple filling. Service: It was okay. Nothing worth highlighting. Ambiance: The dining room is very open and bright. You can see through the divider between the Fiori dining room and the Truth bar (separate menu experience) next to the dining room. That was different. We plan to visit again for the Truth experience. For Fiori, I'd repeat the calamari for certain and possibly the stuffed shells.

This review is long overdue as my husband and I have been coming here for a few years--not…read moreregularly--but enough times to let people know to support this small, family-owned business. The ambiance is cozy and inviting with only 14 tables. Yes, only 14. Instead of expanding to the masses, this restaurant chooses to keep its vision to retain dining as the experience it should be. The murals on the wall, and the feeling of being in an outdoor cafe while remaining inside, is something you don't see much in the area. The food is always fresh and delicious. We've enjoyed lasagna, manicotti, carbonara, fettuccine, piccata (chicken with capers), Marsala, salad and desserts. The wine is served in large glasses so you get a nice serving to enjoy some Chianti or choose another nice Italian wine on the list. The restaurant serves wine and beer only, and coffee drinks. I've heard the pizza is great but haven't tried it yet. It always looks good when another table orders it. Carry out is available in the back of the building. The owner is very nice and will talk about his Italian heritage with a warm smile. This restaurant is truly a little gem hidden behind big box stores. It makes a nice date night too. Make a reservation on Friday or Saturday.

She only checked on me once, was very dry. What is worse after waiting about 20 minutes for her to take my payment, well that never happened. I went up to the counter to pay my bill. She picked up all of the other customers bills at their table. This was my 4th time dinning in, first time ever receiving this type of service. I felt HURT and VERY sad leaving. I never intentionally treat people bad. The other young ladies that waited on me in the past were very kind and attentive. She was clearly having a good day by the way she interacted with the other customers. Lastly after taking my payment she never stayed to see the transaction through. Immediately I took my receipt and left. No excuse for this type of behavior. I will never return to this establishment. Cafe Borgia, service is Top of the line. The owners greet you and talk to you. Servers are OUTSTANDING! Anna should go there for training!

I also understand that servers sometimes make assumptions about guests. However, every customer deserves the same level of attention and service, regardless of what a server thinks the tip may be. According to the receipt provided by the manager, I believe our server's name was Jaden. Unfortunately, she never introduced herself and only checked on our table once throughout the meal. Most of the service we received actually came from the manager on duty. I found myself repeatedly getting up to ask for things until I finally asked Jaden, if she was our server. I hoped that would prompt a little more attention to our table, but it didn't. Instead, she remained focused on another table that had arrived before us and was still there after we left. I watched her check on them four or five times while our table was largely ignored. Whether intentionally or not, it certainly felt as though she had decided our table wasn't worth her time. If that was her assumption, then in this particular case she was correct about one thing: my husband and I will not tip for bad service. I have no problem rewarding excellent service, but I also believe tips should reflect the quality of the experience provided. Rather than leaving money for poor service, I chose to give the cash I had to the busboys, who were attentive and helpful throughout the evening. The reason I'm sharing this review is because I don't want one bad experience to overshadow what has otherwise been a good restaurant. I've dined here several times before, live nearby, and have always enjoyed my visits. That's why this experience stood out so much. I'm willing to give the restaurant another chance because I know the level of service they're capable of providing. My hope is that when I return, every guest will receive the same level of attention and hospitality, regardless of assumptions about who they are or what they may tip. Great service should be consistent, and that's what keeps customers coming back. One final thought: tipping culture only works when both sides do their part. GUESTS should recognize and reward good service, and SERVERS should provide quality service to every table. When assumptions are made on either side, EVERYONE loses.
