I ordered a pizza, an appetizer, and a 2 liter soda to be delivered to the Comfort Inn less than 1/2 mile away. It was 7:30 pm at time of ordering and was told it would be here within 90 minutes. After 2 hours of waiting my order was not delivered so I called. The girl that took my order and info, as well as verifying, told me that there was no answer at the door or phone and the desk clerk tried calling as well. I am a first time Aurelio's customer and I had a wonderful experience with customer service, delivery and food quality. I attempted to order through door dash and failed epically. Technically challenged. I called thinking this location was where my pizza came from. Scott the general manager was so kind and had my correct order delivered to me even though I didn't call them to begin with. Alex delivered my pizza and I'm sure he was working after hours. I hands down believe this is the best pizza in the area. I moved here from Chicago so nothing really compares to those small Chicago pizza places (yes I know Aurelio's began in Chicago). I love the sauce I'm a sucker for the sweeter sauces and I also love thin crispy crust! I just found out they have an app with some sort of rewards program so I'm excited! We've ordered from here quite a few times now and tried some of the other places in the area but this is our go to pizza spot for sure! We have also had a sampler platter but I don't think the proportions were that great, since the entire thing fit into one small to go container. It was OK but not as good as other places I've had pizza. However, their pizza is ridiculously overpriced as are most of the non-chain pizza joints in Chicago. How is it that Domino's, Papa John's, Pizza Hut and even Little Caesar's chains are able to produce a perfectly decent 14 inch two-topping pizza for under $10 (and make nice profits) when the same pizza is $20 PLUS at every Non-chain? They are just not THAT much better to justify being able to charge twice the price for the same product. I could see $3-$4 more but not double the price--no way. I'm going back to Papa John's--there's just not enough difference in taste and quality for the mom and pops to charge twice the price for the same product. read more

Ok I'm blown away at how much this pizza costs. I call to see how much a large Pizza cost & couldn't believe my ears that a "large" pizza with 3 toppings is $34. I've paid less for stadium pizzas that tasted AMAZING. I was just sitting there waiting for Ashton Kutcher to snatch the phone on the other end and be like HA YOU GOT PUNKED!! I went and picked the pizza up and brought it back to me and my son's hotel because we were taking a trip to Chicago. Their hand tossed pizza was DELICIOUS! The sauce was great, the cheese was great, the toppings were great, everything about this pizza is great! The only down was that their sauce was on top and we had to get a plastic fork and look under to see which half was which since we ordered half cheese, half pepperoni and mushrooms. Other than that, it was great and I definitely recommend going to get pizza here. read more

I've been going to the Villa Park (Oak Brook) Aurelio's location for years, and always get great service whether I'm stopping in for pizza by the slice or having a whole pizza delivered. Even on a 90 degree day like today when it's even hotter in the back near the ovens, the managers Scott and Sarah have smiles on their faces and offer a friendly greeting. As someone who spent 7 summers working over a hot fryer, I know it's not easy to stay happy and positive when it's over 100 degrees outside and inside. Keep up the good work! Ordered a medium pizza and an order of hot wings. Got charged $35. Received 6 mediocre wings with kraft packets of dressing. Not even the dressing that I asked for. Pizza was good, but for $35 I would expect a little better quality of wings and dressing. At least the dressing that I asked for. This is my go to place for pizza, but this is the third time in a row that my order has been messed up. The first time I ordered gluten free because of an allergy. I get in the car and see it's not gluten free. I bring it back in and they tell me 15 minutes. I come back and 30 minutes later the pizza is ready. The second time I paid for a small gluten free pizza and they called back later telling me they are out. They offer me two individual ones. I was fine with that, but then when I got my pizza, they messed up my toppings. Now, the third time I ordered a pizza and they don't have the sauce I ordered so I canceled my order. I use to go here weekly, but not sure when I'll give it a 4th chance. read more

This is probably sacrilege but we actually ordered New York style pizza at a chicago pizzeria. This will probably lower my Yelp rating, but I can't help it if New York makes the best pizza in the world. This location was essentially a bar with some booths and high tables. The baked ravioli was a hit with the family and the pizza was excellent. The sauce was a little sweeter than i am used to, but the combination of melted cheeses was a nice touch. We tend to order our pies a little on the simple side so our only toppings were green pepper and sausage. Their medium pie which was either 10 or 12 inches was more than enough for 3 people. It was so bad for a while, that I refused to go there. Then we gave them just one more chance. This location has improved greatly. The service and the food is much improved and the pizza is done right every time. I am not sure what changed, but we have now visited on different days at different times and have found the improvements to be consistent. We will continue to visit. Keep up the good work. read more

I grew up with Aurelio's. I'm not sure if my tastes have changed or if this location is a bad store, but I've been disappointed too many times now. I'm done hoping the will get it right next time. There is no excuse for delivering a nearly-raw (cheese unmelted) Calabrese. If you need a fix of Aurelio's, they are better than nothing. But you'd be better off driving to Homewood. read more

Good pizza with a sweet sauce but don't plan on eating it there. The a/c is broken and the employees don't know if or when it will be fixed. I really like the ingredients, however it seems the pizza is consistently undercooked. Occasionally there will be some golden brown coloring on the edges, but most often the cheese is very pale. Also, most recently the pizza was not cut all the way through. The crust was fully intact, so I had to recut the entire pizza at home before it could be served. read more

I love Aurelio's! It has an old-fashioned taste, good sweet sauce, juicy Italian sausage, thin crust (used to be thinner, something changed in the last year or so). Mushrooms are fresh, in fact, all the veggies have been fresh. Tastes like Chicago pizza should taste, according to this 50-something-year-old palate. read more

I am not sure why other people have given it such poor postings, but Aurelios Pizza has the best thin crust in Chicago. It is best if you eat it at the restaurant, but the take out isn't bad either. The sauce is the best part. This particular location is take out only. Hopefully they will one day go back to a full sized restaurant. read more

This place is a rip off the one pizza I got was a large and cost me 30 bucks. It took an hour and a half to get to my house. Once I finally sat down to eat I found the pizza smelled bad and tasted horrible. I could barely finish two pieces. I advise everybody to stay far away from this place. read more

This is my favorite pizza. It's a little more pricey than some of the others, but well worth it.
