Technician schedule @1-5 PM 08/25/23 Settings at the time upper setting thirty-seven actual forty-seven, lower 03 actual nineteen reading. 8/25/23 GE/Service Unit not working. Cleaned out coil and said that should fix it. 8/26/23 Unit stopped working Second time. After the repair. Was operating for 35 hours. Called Tru Blue Warranty called the second time. Tru Blue ordered a new compressor with other parts. Arrived at my hours over 5 days and three different boxes, with no invoice to let me know all the parts were here. 8/27/23 GE/Same guy came out to change all the parts that were here, and it was running for about 30 hours and stopped. GE Claim# 070054629 9/15/23 12:30 PM Called Tru Blue Warranty Unit not working and is tripping off the GFI. Reset GFI and hour later ripped the GFI a second time. 9/18/23 talked to Fergusion and advised them of the performance of their warranty company, they were going to investigate it. So far, no response. 9/19/23 The technician, not from GE, but was scheduled by Tru Blue, showed up at 11:30 AM, worked for an hour and said he had checked everything and left at 12:30PM. 2:00 PM unit set of GFI again. 9/19/23 Called Tru Blue Warranty (Josh) On Hold 45 minutes. They are sending out another technician from GE this time on 9/25/23. Asked to talk to a supervisor and ended call. The supervisor has not returned my call. 9/25/23 10:30 AM GE, new guy came out. And called GE and unit is non repairable. I should get a call withing 24 to 48 hours. 9/27/23 8:00 AM Called True blue again and their computer system was down, and they are checking on it. And then received an email stating it would take 5 days to review. I still don't have a working refrigerator.

Even though he'd never worked on our specific brand and model of range hood, he quickly figured out how to disassemble it and install the new motor -- something that would have taken me far longer to troubleshoot on my own and hours watching YouTube Videos. This individual hooked up both machines and opened the door to leave, I pushed on the washer and observed that it was rocking on the mounting pads. I advised the installer that the machine was not level. His answer, "THAT is a heavy machine!". I agreed, but stated that he maybe should have brought a helper. Not willing to have him leave the machine for me to level; I helped him lift and adjust the leveling feet. After he left, I discovered that he had totally botched the dryer vent installation. There was an extending periscope type duct, that mounted to the machine vent, then went behind the machine and extended the vent to the top of the machine. This allowed for the machine to be placed closer to the wall. This cretin, loosely zip tied the flexible duct tubing to the machine, then zip tied the extendable vent tube to this tubing, then zip tied ceiling vent to top of periscope vent, and dropped the periscope vent in it's entirety, behind the machine. He then left, leaving the dryer about 8 inches from the wall, and without making the water connection for the steam dryer. At 76years old, I wrestled the machine away from the wall to correctly install the vent apparatus; the machine was then placed back into position. It now sits 3" from wall. It is almost level, but i cannot raise it to correctly level it. There is still NO water connection to the dryer. If i had known the installation would be so terrible, i would NOT have purchased the washer and dryer units.​

My washer was under warranty and I appreciate him being candid with me and not trying to sell me on an expensive repair. I called and he came out the next day and submitted the claim for me to get it worked out. They have in stock a bunch of parts, so if you're fortunate to need a replacement part, they may have it immediately and you won't have to wait for it to be ordered. I've also used them for other appliances and every time I've been very satisfied. They're efficient and skilled and it's a small shop, so you talk to a real person and a short turnaround for a service appointment.

A couple days later he came to install it but after a long while trying different things, he concluded it was likely a transmission problem. He was very honest and explained that it wouldn't be worth the repair since you can buy a new washer for a similar price. We paid him a service fee (which could have been applied if we decided to do the repair) but he was nice enough to not charge us for the extra time he spent, so we very much appreciated it. And for anyone out there that might be reading this and thinking maybe he wasn't thorough, he really was! And we never got a bad vibe.
