The guys who owns and operates this business are absolutely fantastic. Long story short. We were hiking at twin falls and I had put my car keys inside my niece s brand new backpack. We arrived at a swimming hole and we decided we wanted to wade into the water. A bit later we discovered her backpack to be stolen! This led us to Austin Express Keys... they came before the police showed up to take a report! Talk about prompt service. They were able to unlock the car and much to our relief nothing was stolen. My partner who was out of town at that time had just gotten back into town was on his way with the spare key. So I sent the Austin express key guy on his way. My partner arrived only to discover the back up remote didn't work even with new batteries. It was a remote to his old car that he had thought was for the current car. I texted the guy if he could come back and reprogram/rekey the remote for the car. Austin express key came back and saved us again. Thank you guys for helping us out of a tough spot. During the black Friday deals, we had a friend call us that they were locked out of their vehicle. They had borrowed the vehicle from our family. The car is a Buick LaCrosse 2007 and the driver's door handle had broken years ago. They went around this by never locking the driver's door, which our friend "accidentally" did. (Only the driver's side door can unlock the entire vehicle, if its locked, then the car cannot be unlocked since the handle with key entry is broken.) Hubby went to go help while I went home to await more black Friday shopping. After an hour and a half of them trying to unlock it on their own, they gave up and asked me to look for a locksmith. I found Austin Express Keys via yelp. Its Thanksgiving Day (or it was) and not many places were open. When I called, the man on the other end was nice and straight to business. I told him I was calling on their behalf and he asked for their information to call them himself. 45 minutes later, my hubby was happy to be home. I needed a copy of my 2007 Toyota Corolla made and called Austin Express Keys based on their location and high Yelp rating. Moe let me know the price in advance and advised me to call ahead. The next day, I expected to need to drive down the street to visit him but he actually came by my work and made the copy of my key out of his van which was cool. Because the key blanks I provided were very old, it took a little longer than it normally would but we still finished in about 45 min (give or take 15 min). When I was done, he asked me to test the keys which I appreciated because I'm pretty anxious about asking for stuff like that. The keys worked and I got what I needed for a reasonable price. He also offered me a receipt and encouraged me to reach out again if I had any further issues which was very nice. He also let me know to check with my insurance to see if they'd cover it which was a cool tip (even though they ultimately didn't as it was less than my deductible). Probably also worth noting that he was friendly, polite, and professional. This place has an awesome employee. I had made a call because my front door locks were giving me a headache every time I came into my house. It was so hard for me to turn the key I always had to insert the key, take it out and then put it back for it work until two days ago when I got so fed up and decided to give a call to Austin Express Keys. Mustapha answered the phone and was so professional over the phone with me. He asked me what was wrong and told me to not worry and that he will be there shortly. Not only did Mustapha get the job done perfectly but he also showed up to my door before than what was agreed upon. He came and changed my lock and rekeyed it. I think after using Austin Express Keys , i have seen that there still are genuinely good, honest people in the world. Not just someone who is out to make a buck at your expence. I am absolutely guilty of being the one to lose keys, phones, wallet and so on...(daily) so when i had to have him come back several times due to me always having something like my battery completely dying or whatever else could possibly go wrong or prevent him from completing my key... he was very patient and polite with no problem with me having to have him come back multiple times to help me until I got it right and still he has absolutely been a pleasure and helped me so much he probably may not even realize. I park my car (Jeep)and got out and as routine hit my lock button (used to antilock if keys were in ignition (dodge)and was about to walk away and realized I left my keys in the ignition and ironically the car parked next to me was a locksmith (Austin Express keys) So as I looked up ways to open up myself this locksmith was the first ad on the Google search before the diy stuff but my friend and wife told me to try diy so as I'm using a coathanger(nearly had it but Jeep doors are tight and tough) the guy is getting in his van and I ask if he could help me and without skipping a beat he whips out tools and has my door open in 2mins I couldn't be more greatful this guy has saved me from being locked out and having to pay a butload for other means. 5stars and excellent service worth it read more

For the first time I locked my keys in my car, I drove far from my home and My phone was dead, . , I had to ask a random person to call locksmith for me, Excellent service! You talk directly with the owner on the phone and he gives you a real honest quote, the price is fair, I know this because I've been scammed before, so I learned my lesson. Sunday night I broke my key to my 2010, Toyota Corolla. We called another place, and they lied about their fee to come out; $15 became $90 and they couldnt fix it and told me that the dealership had to. Called the dealership (Toyota) and they wanted to charge for a tow and making the key, a total of $500. We were told to call here and we did. Moe was very friendly and came out for a flat fee of $15, made us a new key in less than 30 min AND fixed the spring that the other company broke. He charged me a total of $167. He also treated me like a human being and was so nice to my son and showed him how to make a key. Companies will get so wrapped up in making $$ they forget to treat their customers like human beings. Recently had a relative lose the only fob key she had, essentially leaving her stranded and blocking my wife and I, in on our driveway. Called Austin Express Keys and was handled by dispatch in a kind, professional manner. The representative soon called us back, scheduled time to arrive and came out promptly. Not only did he quickly provide two new Fobs for my mother in law but decided to get a second Fob for one of our vehicles because it was so simple and the price was unbelievable compared to others. We were out of town and left our keys in one of the stores in The Domain. The home we were staying in was over an hour away and the store was closed. We realized very quickly that towing the car back home was out of the question and started our search for finding someone to cut a key. I found Mo through a google search and called. The technician that he sent initially was unavailable so he came himself. Within five minutes, our car was started. Not only did he cut us a deal with rekeying the key, but he also cut us a deal on reprogramming the original key once we got it back. He was quick and efficient and definitely took care of us. Tonight my purse was stolen out of my car and it had my keys in it. I didn't want my family to stay in the house because I didn't feel safe knowing someone out there had my keys. This place has awesome service and a great staff. I called this company to install a lock in my new house and he ended up keying all of my house. Mustapha was so professional, courteous and most of all knowledgeable. I had called pretty late in afternoon and he made it to my house within a couple of minutes. Most of the businesses I had contacted gave me an expensive price whereas Mustapha told me the exact price and was very cheap in comparison to other locksmiths. He deserved a tip since he did not try to rip me off by charging me what he did. Excellent service and price. I purchased a used car that only came with one key and so I looked on Yelp to make a working remote key copy that my wife can use. I used Yelp to request quotes from several locksmiths, and Austin Express Keys was by far the best deal (more than 50% cheaper in some cases). Even though we live in Round Rock and his location is in Austin, he offered to take the 20-30 minute drive up to our house to work around our schedule. Within 15 minutes of arriving, we had our new working remote key, as well as a backup template key that we can use to make more keys in the future in case we lost the other keys. I generally don't leave reviews on Yelp but I'm truly pleased with this business! I locked myself out of my downtown condo on a Saturday evening- I got a prompt estimate and response. The locksmith was able to arrive within 30 minutes of me calling, in spite of really heavy peak traffic. Not only was he courteous and professional, but he was able to open a very complex lock without needing to resort to drilling the lock open. Mustapha was my locksmith that showed up...in under 15 minutes after my initial call....at 9p.m., the Friday after Thanksgiving. He was friendly, punctual, professional...and gave me a great rate compared to others. He got right to work and finished in a very efficient, unexpected time frame.
