    I punctured my front bumper and needed it to be fixed in a quick manner. I talked to Josh who was very friendly and genuine and gave me a quote and a timeline. They stuck to their timeline and their quote (which is rare these days) and I'm very satisfied with the outcome! Thank you!

    My husband hit a column in a garage and broke the mirror off of our Jeep Rubicon and called a few places for quotes. Auto body World was one of the few that actually responded in a timely manner. I came to his shop, David looked the car, gave us a quote and advised me on the best options. He also gave me take to cover the whole where the mirror was supposed to be - so water wouldn't enter if it rained. In a little over a week they got the parts (considering supply chain issues), painted and gave us back our Rubicon - good as new. They saved us a ton of $$ by properly matching the paint color. I keep looking to see if I notice a difference in all angles and different lighting. Nope- can't tell it's a different door or that is been painted. Nice job! If you need a responsive, quality, friendly body shop. I highly recommend them.

    Super job with the body work repair they completed--I highly recommend them! Due to an unfortunate accident, my 2009 Tacoma was damaged extensively at the rear but luckily my Traveler's insurance was very responsive and after doing some online research I found Autobody World. Professional and fantastic job, friendly and great customer service!

The only hiccups were that it took a long time to schedule both my estimate and repair appointments, and the estimated completion dates were always wrong, lol. It took longer than they expected initially, they redid my estimated date, and then it was finished faster than the second estimation. None of which is that big a deal since I was not at fault for the accident and insurance covered my rental, etc, but if you had to foot your own bill or needed to plan around their timeline, I could see how it might be an issue. Regardless, i would go here again to get my car repaired for sure - it's also a USAA approved shop so their work is guaranteed under my policy (which is why I chose them in the first place.)

I initially called them…read moreabout replacing the vented window in my Toyota van, having had a frustrating experience with SafeLite (another story for another day). When I arrived on Monday, June 22, Dan (the adjuster?) haughtily stated they couldn't use the required accessory parts needed, which I specifically bought from Woodbridge Toyota, because they couldn't "guarantee the quality or that they were the correct parts." Dan stated he wouldn't order their parts until I left the van with them. News flash: That should be clarified with a customer before they stop by (as a professional courtesy) so that the customer can make plans AHEAD OF TIME and avoid the back-and-forth and wasted time that so many businesses (like Caliber Collision) think is "acceptable." Needing the van back ASAP, I drove it over after hours that same night. Dan assured me he would order the parts Tuesday, June 23 and that it would take a couple days. Thursday, June 25, I get a message that the parts have arrived and that the van would be ready later that day. Great! However, I got a call late in the afternoon that, oops! They needed to order another part but that the part would be delivered Friday, June 26. Okay, more shagging rides and imposing on friends. On Friday, I'm again told the van would be ready later that day. But wait! Dan "the expert" informed me that his technician stated they still need two additional parts! (Again, THESE ARE THE PARTS THAT WERE RESEARCHED, WHICH I ORDERED FROM WOODBRIDGE TOYOTA, and which Dan snootily rejected.) When I expressed my frustration about having to wait for another delivery, Dan stated, "Well, normally when we order a used window, it has all the parts with it." What? Wait a minute! Dan REJECTED my authentic Toyota parts (sans the window itself) "because they couldn't guarantee the quality or that they were the correct parts." And yet they're installing a USED window in my van!!! When I finally was granted the opportunity to retrieve my van a week later (Monday, June 29), I asked to speak to the manager, Javier. He came out of his office and I explained the fiasco and incompetence, including the condescending way our man Dan had addressed my concerns (and those of another customer, who came after me on Monday June 22.) Javier seemed to listen to me, but when I pointed out the hypocrisy of rejecting the accessory parts needed to complete the repair (which had been painstakingly researched) while ordering a "used window," Javier handed me the tired excuse of, "Well, that's what we have to do, because your insurance will only cover so much." I said, "Hold on, that's crap. You're using a used part to increase your profit margin. I'm not stupid." Javier said he would "look into it." And here's the icing on the cake: When I called today (July 7, just 8 days after meeting with Javier) to hear what he had found out, I was told Javier was on vacation for 2 weeks. Totally ducked the issue, slinking away on vacation without the decency to get back to me. Moral of the story: Incompetent, condescending, and entitled. DON'T GO TO CALIBER COLLISION!!!!

See Pictures. His work voided a recall on the paint for my car. He refused to provide me with a detail list of what he did and where he touched up areas so that I could have some of the car repainted. This guy is full of lies, continues to jack up the price, leaves you hanging saying he will come back to fix it. When asked why he didn't fix the dents, he said "That's more money!!". I'm currently seeking legal help to get my money back including damages costing over $6k due to the fact he voided the recall on my car. Kept all the text messages from him trying to tell me I owe more, then admitting he was wrong and that he would pay me back in installments.

He was very aggressive that he was doing me a favor. Unfortunately even after he was paid, the car was not fixed. Somehow the headlight and turn indicator where he had worked now did not function. Then the liner inside the wheel was not properly secured, so my wheel was grinding when I went over bumps or turned too far left. He agreed to fix those things only to stop responding to multiple messages and phone calls.

I was rushing in from DC so I would get there right at 7 and the doors would be locked. This happened 2 days in a row. The second day, I actually called Geico to complain because of the inconvenience. I was not happy. Then, I caught movement in the front window and saw a guy had sat down at the front computer. I knocked on the window. From this point on, my experience with Craftsman changed. I was very irritated initially but he opened the door, immediately called his manager - went above and beyond any level of customer service one expects to receive in this day and age. I cannot say enough about the level of kindness exhibited by this employee to make sure I would not have to drive out a third time to pick up my car. His service was exemplary. I suppose, as consumers, we become used to people only doing what is required. So, when this individual went out of his way to help me, processing the payment for the insurance portion of the claim, walking me around the car to make certain everything was attended to, making sure I had all the receipts and guarantees - he really surprised me when he told me he was only responsible for cleaning my vehicle. This guy should be a manager. He should be in some position of power. Promote him to Estimator. He completely turned my experience from bad to outstanding. If you want customer retention, put this guy front and center. I know I am now a loyal customer. If I have friends who need auto body work, this is the place I will recommend and Mr. Don Perry is the person I will tell them to ask for. He is Craftsman's best kept secret and Craftsman should do something about that. They should put Mr. Perry in a position to deal directly with consumers. I guarantee you won't have complaints. I really cannot say enough about his level of kindness except that it is truly impressive. I hope when I return, he is an Estimator and I can deal with him directly. If any person in Virginia deserves a promotion, it is this guy.

I dropped my car off and was given a rental. They took care of all the negotiations with the insurance company and kept me informed the whole way. They gave me a repair estimate of $17,335.18 on October 15, which seemed reasonable, and I assumed work was being done. For over two months, I waited with no updates. Suddenly, on December 5, they emailed demanding the loaner back immediately and threatened a police report for "failure to return a rental vehicle." I called their rep (Alfonso), who said he would extend the loaner--he never followed up. That evening, the loaner was remotely disabled (Valet Mode) while I was driving, stranding me overnight in 20°F snowy/rainy weather on a busy DC street. I had to pay for towing myself to avoid freezing. The next morning (December 6), they called police (Rockville and Prince George's County), claiming I failed to return the rental. They also told officers my Florida license was "fake" or fraudulent. Police cleared me immediately. I repeatedly explained my disabilities (immune-compromised, OCD, ADHD, anxiety) and asked for accommodations to get my medication and belongings from the loaner (less than ¼ mile away at a friend's house). They refused and left me stranded without transportation or meds ever since. Now they demand over $14,000 in storage/rental fees--almost as much as the repair estimate--yet no work was ever done on my car. I have video, emails, bills, and records. This was unsafe, unprofessional, and unacceptable. Avoid if you value safety and clear communication.

Even though it's a smaller shop, they have a comfortable waiting area with free coffee, snacks, and water, which was a really nice touch. They took care of my oil change and filter without an appointment and finished in less than an hour and a half. What really stood out to me was their honesty and generosity -- they even told me my next oil change would be free, which I've never experienced before. I've been to dealerships and many other auto service places around the Washington area over the past 20 years, and I can truly say this level of service is rare. This was my first visit, but based on this experience, they've earned my five stars. I'll definitely be coming back and highly recommend them!
