I had a car towed from the shop to my home. I requested a flat bed because my vehicle is a little low and never used anything else but a flat bed. The driver called me and said the flatbeds are busy and it was the only option. He arrived towing it backwards with the front bumper 4inches from the ground. Later that day I backed out of my driveway and the front bumper dragged on the cement. After 20 years of backing out of the driveway with this vehicle never dragged the bumper. So I checked and the bumper was damaged. I didn't report this because they are going to say it was already damaged. From now on I will use Jan's Towing. read more

My car was a mess completely smashed, head-on in a three car collision. They promised me they would be able to fix my car and they delivered. When they first told me that they would save me my deductable I was sceptical, but they were true to their word and they did!... with the money I saved I decided to get the damage done to the rear-end from a previous accident finally fixed. As I walked to my car today before work, I thought, "I wish I could have today off." I guess a genie somewhere out there heard me, because when I turned the key in the ignition, my car wouldn't start! Thankfully, Auto Car saved the day. I called them and reached Jocelyn, who gave great customer service throughout the process. She dispatched a driver, and within 30 minutes, he arrived at my apartment to tow my car. The driver maneuvered his truck through my tiny driveway to get my car out. Once my car was examined by a mechanic, Jocelyn called me back to inform me that it was my battery that needed to be replaced. She gave me a quote and explained each part of the price. I was expecting to pay around $1000 to fix my car, so when the total was a fraction of that, I wanted to jump for joy! Jocelyn gave me a follow up call to notify me that the battery price she quoted would be higher since my car's battery was quite expensive, and the installation would be harder since my battery is located next to my steering wheel. She offered to send me pictures to prove it - I was constantly impressed with how she went above and beyond to gain my trust and reassure me that the company wasn't trying to scam me. She then told me my car would be ready for pickup within an hour. 5 hours total from "Oh my gosh my car isn't starting" to "I have my car back" is astoundingly quick, especially considering the time it took to tow. I'm incredibly impressed with the service, efficiency, and care for customers that Auto Care offers. They've secured their place as my only auto repair shop :) read more

Shout out to Auto Car! This is an auto shop contracted with AAA. My car stopped in the middle of the road and blocked the traffic in the morning. I called AAA and a tow car from Auto Car came in 10 mins. The tow car driver Romo was really nice and he knows what to do. The front desk ladies Liz and Alicia were amazing and helpful! To my inconvenience, my car wouldn't turn on and I was about 45 miles out from my house. I messaged Romeo and he was so helpful. Deserves NO stars!! Worst experience ever with their tow service. I have no idea why AAA uses this company, they are terrible!!! The driver was the biggest loser ever, very rude, disrespectful,mean and just plain unhappy and unhelpful. They took an hour to get to me. When he arrived he had the worst attitude problem I have seen. I had a legitimate service medical diabetic alert dog and he wanted to put it outside the cabin!!!!wtf!!! He took the longest way to the mechanics even when I told him not to do so. Ignorant man !! I found myself sitting at a traffic light today on Atlantic and Mission in Alhambra. Suddenly a tow truck runs the light to my left and comes to a stop across the street in the next left turn lane. This guy just ran across two lanes of traffic I said. So I snapped a quick photo of the truck and caught the logo and address, no license plate showing on the vehicle that I can see. This kind of behavior is what gets people in accidents so they need to be towed. I thought this behavior was exceeding irresponsible and I will be reporting this to AAA whose logo is emblazoned on the door of the cab. read more

We had such a good experience here, and they went so much out of their way to help us that we hope this review at least does them justice. The Situation: I was in an accident that caused severe damage to our somewhat older car. If it were totaled, not only could we never get such a good car again for whatever the insurance might pay us, but now -- in the pandemic -- finding another car on our greatly-reduced budget would be something neither I nor my wife were up for at all. My Request: I asked if they could please find a way to work with my insurance company so that the car would not be declared a total, but instead have insurance cover the repairs to restore our beloved car to us. Their Response: I don't know why they were so kind to us, but they bent over backwards to grant our request. And they continued doing so even as further repairs were required for which they received no additional payment for. When we picked up the car, to our amazement, it looked and drove even better than before! Epilogue: Months later, when its old battery finally bit the dust and an AAA-contracted technician came to replace it, I told him about how the car had been "resurrected." When he learned what shop did it, a broad smile appeared on his face. Hector is def my new mechanic. I had my truck towed to his shop, thought it was alternator. Make sure AAA tries jumping it few times if it's completely dead. He was honest from the start letting me know everything was fine. We talked about some maintenance I needed done. Some critter chewed a wire, he had seen that, because, he paid attention when checking my engine out. I didn't even have to tell him which wire. I know my truck and he didn't treat me differently because I'm a chick. When I went to pick it up he had all my old parts in a box to show me....I didn't even have to ask.
