My Camry's water pump went out on our regular trips to the metro area on a Friday night. Greg got me lined up with a tow truck and got it in the shop on Saturday morning. Water pump and serpentine belt were replaced for a fair price and they were finished on Monday. All the while, Greg kept me posted on status of repair. We wouldn't be back in town until later that week, which he allowed us to pick up on Friday. Auto Clinique is now my go-to. They were able to see me same day as a walk-in. Even though their work bays were packed, they were able to investigate my issue in about 20-30 minutes. The explanation was straightforward and informative. They didn't pressure me to add a bunch of things--incidentally, a day earlier, another shop had pressured me to do a ton of work I didn't need. Thrilled that I did not settle, and that I found Auto Clinique. I got out of there quickly, with no hassle, and at about 1/3 the cost of what I was quoted by the other shop. A bunch of crooks. I went there because my tire was leaking. I suspected it had a nail. Sure enough, all I needed was a quick fix. They charged me $20 and told me it was fixed. As soon as I left their shop the low tire sign popped up on the dashboard. I came right back. They said they forgot to put back some air. The next morning, the low tire sign is back on. I return to the shop. They tell me I need to get the tire completely taken apart for a better diagnoses because they removed that 1 nail and there are no other nail in that tire. I decide to go somewhere else. Guess what? The nail is still in the tire. I get it fixed (For real this time), and my tire has been fine since. I have driven over 1000 miles since. Stay away from those crooks. If they screw you over like that for a simple nail, imagine how bad they will screw you for something serious. read more

The reviews you see here are accurate--Alex, Mike, Greg and the team are fantastic, honest, reliable, affordable. They have done really great work on my 19 year old Jeep! I wanted to get my cracked windshield replaced and they said they'd love to take my money, but I didn't need to change it unless I really wanted to. I also had body work done after a fender bender and a major tune up on another occasion. Mike even gave me a ride home when I sent my car in for the tune up. Professional, Knowledgeable, Honest & Fair I took my car over to the guys at Auto Clinique after spending over 2yrs. and thousands of dollars trying to get a front suspension noise diagnosed. I previously went to 3 different shops all of them claiming to be"experts" in the field of vehicle repair but none of them were successful in finding and properly fixing the source of my problems. Auto Clinique had the issue figured out within less than an hour and subsequently addressed the issue without fail. Very disappointed. Stopped by to check on my 2013 Nissan Altima after I had contacted them earlier, specifically mentioning I wanted to check the transmission and change the fluids if necessary. When I got there, it turned out they didn't know how to properly service Nissan Altima CVTs. Manufacturer guidelines say to use a very specific fluid, made by Nissan only. When I asked him what kinds of fluid they had to change the tranny fluid with, he kept saying "just transmission fluid" over and over again. Maybe this place is better for older cars (I guess if they're older than 2012 ish), I don't know. But with more and more CVTs hitting the market and mechanics shops like these not knowing what they're doing and just jumping on default specs... this is concerning. I mentioned make and model and CVT for a reason. These guys apparently don't do details. Giving 2 stars because he said it would be checked in 10-15mins which is pretty good turnaround. Otherwise, can't say anything good about them from my visit. @Response to business manager's response: Our conversation went: Me: I'm not sure how familiar you guys are with CVTs and how their transmissions work? You: I don't know, I've never driven one (shrug) Yet you service transmissions. Sorry, but that doesn't give customers much confidence when using the wrong fluid or putting too much fluid could break the CVT. But hey, best of luck to you and your methods of communication.... Also, I distinctly remember (and can get a screenshot of) me specifying the year, make, and model of my Altima, and wanting to check the transmission. If you didn't know that was a CVT off the bat and you service transmissions, I feel terrible for your customers. -1 star for poor communication. read more

Problem with this is 3 people got their at 7:30. So you have no idea when or if your car will be serviced. Good luck planning your work day around this nonsense. Also disregard their " book online" feature on their website. Unless this place becomes more customercentric, why waste your time? Overall happy with Auto Clinique. Brought the car originally because of an error code that was preventing passing Inspection. After a brief discussion about the code, they were gracious enough to tell me to bring it to the Dealership to get fixed under Warranty instead of trying to take advantage of me and fix it themselves which they could easily have done without me being any the wiser, so A+ business practices there. The Dealership then came back with additional repairs needed beyond the warrantied repair at their overpriced rates, so I brought my car back to Auto Clinique and got those repairs done for almost half the price. I do have to knock one star off though as the communication was very poor throughout. I had to call for all updates, including to get the quote once they looked at everything. I am not sure why I did not get a call initially to confirm the issue & cost to repair since I never got an initial quote at any point. The price was great so it wasn't a pain point, but does make me a little weary if I were to do something potentially more expensive. Also did not get a call when the repair was delayed for them to explain why - again, the reasons for the delay were justified and I appreciated the care put into making sure it was done right, but communication would have been nice instead of needing to call to ask if the car was ready and find out that it would not be for another day. read more

My car was supposed to be done on a Monday, but I got a call the Friday before saying it would be done the following Saturday morning! I was so pleased because I had been bothering Christina at the front desk consistently about being pressed for time and she was always so patient. Outstanding work & customer service from the Auto Clinique in Dallas off of Preston Rd. I am an active duty Army Officer who was in town for some business meetings in April 2022 & my rental car hit a huge water puddle (lake) in an intersection at night during a thunderstorm (I couldn't see the water as there were no streetlights). The owner personally greeted me & fixed my car which had some minor front end damage and the license plate was demolished. He fixed the license plate & trim on the front of the car that was almost torn off and did not even charge me anything at all. 4 out of 5 stars might be deceptive. They earned 5 but I was told by the clerk that my alignment and tire balance would be complete in 1 hour. So I took off, on foot, to the local shops and stores. Came back in an hour and my baby, Jeep wrangler, hadn't been moved from where I parked it. I expressed my confusion and frustration to the store manager who went into full 'customer service' mode and explained the reason for the delay. So there I sat for another hour and a half before my JK was moved to the bay. In the mean-time I was able to observe and over-hear phone conversations with other customers. Based on what I saw and heard, they give you a no BS assessment and don't try to up-sell the customer. They are quick to respond and even ordered additional parts (on a Saturday) so a customer could have cool A/C in their car by Monday. I asked to watch the process for my vehicle and they gladly obliged. After it was complete, the tech, test drove it around the block (I knew he wanted to) and introduced himself to me afterwards.
