I have been coming to Auto Clinique for over 10yrs but in the last year the service leave at this shop has dropped of Dramatically. Allow me to explain. On September of 2023 brought my car in to this shop. Because I had hear a knocking sound on the driver side of my car. Explained the problem to the front desk clerk. The ended up replacing my driver side control arm but in the process they left off clamp which is part of the control arm. The knocking did not stop. I took my car to dealership because I was really worried. There I came to learn that Auto Clinique left off clamp for the control arm and with them doing so they missed up my bushing and ball joint. Which had to be replaced. The office Manager/Owner told me I should've brought the back. Because the work was under warranty. But my documentation/receipt makes no mention of warranty for work done. I was told there is nothing he can do for me. Now given the that fact the work performed at this shop was done incorrectly and this was never denied. There was no compensation offered in anyway. brought my truck here for them to work on, they did a fast turn around on it which was good, I fear they may cut corners though, now I have to be concerned if they actually preformed all the work properly and actually did it correctly,, because in the mix we were putting on aftermarket wheels and new tires, the tires and wheels were not ever balanced out properly, (even brought it back a second time!) No hub-centric rings were used, today when I brought the truck to my hometown shop, we found that all 4 wheels only had 5 lug nuts each, (even paid extra for custom lug nuts) when the vehicle has 6 per wheel, I guess the factory did not know what they were doing when they put 6 per wheel, and if they cut a corner here, where else did they?? We spent close to 3000 dollars with them, for work to be done, now I am spending another 200, this don't seem fair to me. read more

So I had the distinct opportunity to have two cars done at the Auto Clinique. My daughters car, ML-350, was side swiped and after getting multiple quotes I chose to try AC, they were a most 1/2 the price and they had very good reviews. While I was getting ready to bring my daughters car in my son hit another girls car leaving the High School parking lot and the parents were nice enough to let us pay for the damage to her BMW X1, they got a quote and I asked them to try AC, also ~1/2 the price, and I told them if it was not to their satisfaction I would have it done again at the more expensive shop. Both cars came out fantastic, done on time and with no BS, or added/ hidden cost or surprises. I will recommend AC 100% to anyone that needs body work done, they are a great shop. Only one minor thing I could complain about was their credit card machine was down and we had to jump though hoops to get money to them. Great shop though. read more

I was set to award 5 stars, but am awarding a tentative 3 due to a strange demand from Robert. I'm in the middle of a busy week and was having trouble finding time to come pick up my car when repairs were completed. I drove out early this morning before the shop was opened, left a note that I was taking my car, and to call me to finalize payment with my credit card. When Robert and I talked later this morning, I asked him to drop my key in the mail. To my bewilderment, he refused. Rather huffily. For reasons that made no sense. At one point he said he didn't have a letter box (an ongoing business doesn't have a way to send letters??). Etc. He insisted I come back and pick it up. I explained that I live a half hour away from his shop. And that I was in the middle of a super busy week. All to no avail. It would take Robert less than 5 minutes to put the key in an envelope, address it, and drop it in the mail. I coming out there to fetch it would be an hour out of my day. I'd just spend $900 on his shop--and I've already made one extra trip because the first repair didn't fix the problem. Sorry, but at this point, 3 stars feels generous. I needed to find something to help my wife get into my RAV4 so I bought the factory running boards and needed to have them installed. I already had purchsed all the Toyota factory parts required to do it. I just needed someone to install them. One dealer said they would install them for $500 "because we may need to drill holes". I knew you didn't have to drill holes so I asked what the price would be if they didn't have to do that. "$500". Obviously they didn't want to do it. Another dealer quoted $400. One dealer refused to quote at all because they had no idea what was involved in installing Toyota running boards on a Toyota car. I did some research and called Auto Clinique. Had a great series of chats with their service manager. I located the Toyota installation manuals and brought them. I found Youtube videos on what the install process was. He reviewed all that and said they could do it for $250. Deal. I dropped the car off at 8am and at 10am it was done. Perfectly. The guys were nice and professional. The work on my car was excellent but the customer service was....unusual at best. I took my car here a few weeks ago for a repair. I was told it would be a week and quoted the amount it would be to pay out of pocket. They said the car would be ready that Friday or Saturday. While at work that Friday, I called to see if it would be ready sometime the following day. The guy who answered the phone told me that the car had been ready for pickup. I was pretty upset, as its a pricy repair and I could have started driving again instead of paying for Lyft to get around. I went after work to pick it up and there was some altercation occurring with another customer who was upset. I tried to ignore them. When the man left, the guy behind the counter said "give me a few minutes, okay baby?" It was weird, but I said, "uh okay". He said, "not you. My girlfriend. My baby". He wasn't holding a phone. He then pointed to his cell phone, sitting on the counter a few inches from him. He then proceeded to just talk to the open air about the upset customer so that the person on the phone could hear him. The owner, who I originally talked to, came out and told me he didn't know that they told me I could pick it up and to give him 20 more minutes so they could take it next door to be cleaned. When he finally came back, I handed him my card and the notice of the check in on Yelp, because there's a coupon on their main page for 10% off parts and labor. Instead off saying they just weren't doing that anymore, he told me to let him think about it. Then he came around the counter and said, "do I really need to honor that?" Like, it's up to you? It's your store? I said that to him and he said, "fine, I'll do it" with a tone that sounded like I was inconveniencing him for showing him an offer he created. He took me outside to see my car. The work they did is great, although expensive. If it was on work alone, I'd come back for all maintenance since I live literally up the street, but being ignored so the guy could tell his girlfriend about a rude guest and then being made to feel guilty for seeing a coupon being offered is extremely offputting. read more

I was searching all over for a reliable shop that did work on German models without the German dealer price tag. My car had several issues that popped up at once and I was in desperate need to get them fixed as quickly as possible. After a diagnostic at Auto Clinique the list grew to 4 fixit items which I 100% agreed with. I have an intermediate understanding of car repairs, so nothing recommended was frivolous and I felt confident my car would be tip-top after the repairs. The shop had to order a part for my vehicle and once it came in it was installed promptly - I know because I was staying on top of them due to my tight timeframe. The smaller repair items were worked on while they were waiting for the ordered part to save time (I'm assuming). In any event, my car repairs were finished before my deadline and I didn't have to delay my work travel, which I honestly gave 50/50 odds on. I was happy with how the car drove immediately after the repair, so I drove to DFW and left it at the airport for almost 2 weeks. Upon return, I had the check engine light come on while driving back from DFW. I was disappointed to say the least, and I reached out to Auto Clinique. I called the office and reached out via Yelp. They were friendly and apologetic and asked me to bring her back in for a diagnosis. I was frustrated and ready to come back "guns hot," but they were reassuring and my concerns were addressed professionally. Once back to the shop a quick read showed a persisting error code related to an items that was already fixed. The code was cleared and I was on my way. No issues thus far. Whew! Overall, my experience was positive (as positive as car repairs can be) and I'd recommend Auto Clinique for an honest diagnosis and fair pricing. One thing that stood out to me was the lightning fast communication via Yelp to address any questions/concerns I had before and after the repairs. Using social media, like Yelp in this case, made communication seamless and I'm glad they do this because I've never engaged with an auto shop like that before. It was an extra nicety that was much appreciated. I hope they keep up the good work and open comms. I'd take my car there again if I were staying local. read more

You'd think it wouldn't be too hard to earn 5 stars as an auto repair place. Don't rip people off, charge a fair price, fix cars and be kind to the customers. And yet, the last time my car needed a repair I took it to some scammy place down on Spring Valley road where they had me pay $400 (the Standard Scam Fee is always around $400!!) for some unnecessary replacement and when that 'fix' didn't do a damn thing, told me it was a $5 spark plug that needed to be replaced and BOOM, the $5 fix just me $450 with tax. Auto-Clinique is NOT like this. First, they're very high tech and modern in their process. I sent a message through Yelp telling the guy what was wrong (car ran out of gas while idling, wouldn't restart even with gas) and braced myself for the reply, fully expecting him to tell me it was likely a blown fuel pump that would cost me $400 to repair. He told me to bring it in so I called up AAA and had them tow it over. Now, when you have a vehicle towed to a repair place you're almost totally at their mercy because you're most likely not going to have it towed to a second place, so basically you're just praying that it isn't serious and the repair place isn't going to make something up and make you pay $400 for a $5 fuse. Sure enough, they ran a diagnostic ($35) and told me it was indeed a blown fuse. Cost: $5, including labor and parts. As opposed to $5 parts and $250 labor. I got my car back and on the road immediately and the workers at Auto Clinique are all super nice. Again, my total cost was $40. My car was elated be running again and so was I. read more
