I came into Tru-Tec asking about maintenance and left Tru-Tec with a lawsuit. The maintenance Tru-Tec originally completed was a valve cover gasket replacement and front brake replacement. However, when I got my car back that evening, the check engine light was on for the very first time since I purchased the car back in November of 2023. While completing this work, Tru-Tec verbally told me that they had burned through a wire and would replace it for free. They refused to write this down for my records, constantly brushing off my and my husband's requests. After visiting the shop a total of 5 times, trying to charge me for the wires and installation they originally stated were free, and still having my check engine light on, Tru-Tec was unable to fix the damage they caused, eventually calling me "neurotic" and banning me from the shop. After months of carpooling with my husband, utilizing rental vehicles/tow trucks, visiting several locations that refused to touch the damaged wiring, and receiving quotes from the dealership that would have cost more than $5,000, I was finally able to have the car back in working condition once Premier Performance came into the picture. After hearing from several professionals, I learned that the wiring Tru-Tec originally installed was off-market, which could have caused even more damage to the car's internal systems. Since the car was repaired correctly and safely by Premier Performance back in September of 2025, I have had no issues with the car. I tried several times outside of court to receive the repair costs from Tru-Tec. However, the new owner, Jordan Becker, refused to take any responsibility. After multiple attempts to resolve this directly, I filed a small-claims case against Tru-Tec to recover my repair costs. I ultimately won a settlement through mediation. In my personal opinion, Jordan Becker is incapable of maintaining proper car and customer care. His dangerous incompetence led to my car being out of commission for months, as I had to use several different shops and resources to properly repair the car. Jordan repeatedly gave my husband and me conflicting information over and over again, which, in my opinion, demonstrated that he is not capable of running the family business. I highly recommend that you stay far away from this shop (unless you want to learn more about the legal system).

I chose EF Tire & Auto Repair based solely on the excellent online reviews and because it was conveniently located near my home. The team treated me with kindness, empathy, and professionalism. They understood my situation and kept me informed every step of the way. The tires needed to be ordered so he gave a deposit before he flew home. AJ their Assistant Service Writer called me the next day when the tires were in. I decided to wait bc I had my mom with me and it would be less running around. While waiting, I also spoke with Patrick their General Manager, and Tony their Manager. All 3 were very friendly and kind. They answered all my questions, and explained everything. I had my elderly mom with me and these guys had a lot of patience. What I really loved about Apex is besides selling tires, they take pictures of what's wrong with your vehicle and add it to your online profile account so you can see up close and personal what's wrong and the parts they replaced. This place seems to be very honest and truthful which is rare. They will also give you an estimate.You can go online to see all work done. I highly recommend making an appointment. This place gets very busy. They have two buildings. One in the front of the driveway, and one towards the back. The actual entrance is in the front building. They have a small waiting area. Once I dropped off the car, I was later called and given a price of $887.43. I asked for them to email the invoice which they did. They tried to charge 317.86 for 2 rotors. After looking up the part numbers I realized how ridiculous this price was. I called two other auto shops near this shop and was given a out the door price of $520. Of course I told them I was just going to pick up my car and not pay $887.43. They charged me $75 to get my keys because they did a brake check (on the invoice, it is free)

Do not, I repeat do not bring your rims here to get mounted…read more First of all I brought my rims and own tires in to get mount and balanced. Simple task right? Well I brought the tires and rims and left them in the car bays like the front desk person told me to. I had to run errands so they told me about 1-2 hours. 2 hours pass and I call to check and see if my wheels were done and I was told that they couldn't find my tires? I explained that the tires are there in the car bay. So basically nothing was done in those two hours and no one called me. In the end my wheels were finally done and when I picked my wheels up there's gouges on the inside of the rims and was told that the machine they had had to grip the rims from the inside since they were too big. If this was going to cause damage then either explain the risks or don't do it. Damaged all four rims on the inside barrel but what can I do. I wasn't offered compensation for the damages. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT bring your wheels here.
