Finally found the time to schedule and bring my vehicle in to Orlando's shop. My car was previously lowered a week ago on aftermarket coilovers. Steve the guy at the front desk was courteous and instructed me to sign the small form prior to getting the work done on the vehicle. Orlando did a great job aligning my car and getting it back to road condition. I had a slight toe-out on left front which was felt when taking off from a standstill. The job was completed in about 45 min. All I did was kickback on the nice comfy chairs and browse on phone to let some time pass. They also have free WiFi to entertain you while you wait. Steve was able to go over the before and after specs and since my car was lowered, he advised me to look into installing camber arms to bring the wheels into even more within spec and to regularly rotate my tires to promote even wear. These guys really know a lot about not only what your car needs but they also educate you on what you need to know about your vehicle. With that newfound knowledge, it makes me more confident as a vehicle owner. read more

I was worried about my tire pressure being low, did I have a nail in my tire? Did the patch from a past nail start waring off? Do I need new tires? Brought it to Auto Innovations as recommended to a lot of my good friends and gave it a try. All those questions I had, Orlando answered them all for me. No nail, patch from past nail repair is still intact and no I don't need new tires for at least 5 months (great to know so I can save). Can't believe I never got my alignment here before. My friend help me install some coilover on my 2020 WRX over the weekend with LCA and end links. So I need to get my car align asap. On Saturday night I reach out to Auto Innovations on yelp about getting an alignment and Orlando respond to me and told me the price and I was good with it and schedule an open appointment with them. Today was my appointment and drop off the car. I think it was Orlando the one I talk to on yelp message told me it be about 30 min or so. 10 min in they wanted to show me my LCA and told me I install the LCA a little bit wrong (never used BLOX before always used whitelines or SuperPro style) technician told me its a common mistake with this brand because they don't give you direction and tell you that you to adjust both end not just one. told me it be another $50 and about an hr for us to fix it. Let them fix my mistake and got the car back and everything is good now. Almost forgot before I did suspension work on the car my steering wheel is always to the right a little but when you park and put it in the middle everything line up. Went to my other alignment shop and the dealer and they said everything is good. Idk what Auto Innovations did but it is straight now and doesn't go right when I am on the highway. If you need tires or alignment I think Auto Innovations is the shop you should stop by and they got great customer service too. Nice attention to detail. Some say that Porsche (and possiblly others) have a standard orientation where the bottom emblem on their wheels align with any wheel locks and the valve stem. I took my Honda to the Honda dealership where they removed my wheels and haphazardly reinstalled the wheel locks in any orientation convenient to the tech. I realize my car is not a Porsche and probably doesn't warrant the same level of attention as a Porsche, oh well. I then took my car to Auto Innovations for rotation and alignment. All 4 wheels came back with the wheel locks perfectly lined up with the bottom emblem and valve stem. I'm not sure how many customers recognize this attention to detail, but I did. Was set to get my car raised and aligned, was quoted a good ball park price. Was trying to fix a problem with to much negative camber on my lowered car. Orlando looked over my car and mentioned my toe bolts were already maxed out, and explained that based on my suspension components and wheels, he probably wouldn't be able to adjust the camber to what I was hoping for, and recommended to keep my ride height as is. He told me if I really wanted him to do the work he would to the best he could, but I'd be better off leaving my car as is, and saving my money. I drove down from San Francisco and got my 91 NSX aligned here. I had to remove my diffuser to access the control arms, so it cost me an extra $20. Their lift is low car friendly and they're very knowledgeable and experienced with work on cars. The process was very quick and the technician asked me what specific camber I wanted. I've brought my 1998 BMW M3 to Auto Innovations for two alignments so far and their work has been sublime. I'm into spirited driving and autox so I lowered my car on coilovers, have camber arms in the rear, and camber plates up front. Orlando and his team are extremely knowledgeable and will meticulously set the specs you provide them. I dont think he does these discounts anymore - sorry! But all of my suspension work, spring installs, coilover installs, sway bar installs, strut bar installs, alignments, and yes even TPMS swaps have all been completed by Orlando and his team. Made an appointment with Orlando as a walk-in to get a wheel alignment while I was getting my stage 1 and stage 2 Catalytic Security service for my car installed from next door at Precision Muffler. Very honest business. Orlando is great. Have taken both cars here and they caught and told me my front lower control arms needed to be replaced or an alignment would be pointless / a waste of money. They were spot-on - I showed what my LCAs looked like to a few friends who are gear heads and they were pretty shocked. There was no charge for my appointment or that diagnosis. I would recommend this shop for tire mounting due to fair prices and quality work. They have mounted tires for me at a reasonable price and did not scratch my rims in the process. The balance was spot on. However, I can't recommend AI's alignment services. I've come to AI for alignments on three vehicles. Two out of three times, I was told that my car could not be aligned properly. On my ultra-low mileage S2000 (less than 10,000 miles at the time of service), I asked for a zero-toe alignment with max even front camber in the front and -0.5 degree more negative camber in the rear. What I got was mismatched camber on the front and rear axles with lots of toe in on both axles. Since the alignment was not done properly, my car pulled right on the highway and my tires wore out very quickly. I was disappointed when I recently confirmed at another shop that the car could be properly aligned. It did take the tech some time, but the car was capable of getting to -1.8 degrees of negative camber even in the front with zero toe and -2.5 degrees of camber in the rear with zero toe without replacing any suspension parts. read more

Orlando and Auto Innovations is a fantastic option for having work done on your car. I have a BRZ and needed a shop to mount new tires on new wheels, and then install them onto the car. Orlando was willing to lend me space in his shop overnight to store my new tires to make it easier to get everything there for the install the next day. Not only that, but I had a minor issue where the new tires in front would rub the strut tower slightly, so he happened to have a couple extra 3mm spacers and included them for me to create clearance. During the process he let me come into the shop so I could see the issue for myself. Not only that, but him and his guys also re-mounted my old tires to my old wheels (after the tpms swap) with rubber stems and carefully loaded them back into my car (which I'll admit I was a bit apprehensive about doing myself, lol). 2003 Infiniti G35 Coupe - changed height adjustment and alignment on Tein Flex coilovers. The car was way too low on the front and the right side sat taller than the left. Orlando and his staff did a great job. Update: October 2008 - Installed a set of Toyo TR1s on the G35. Steve was cool advising to get Toyos or Falkens based on my driving style. I originally had a set of Bridgestones. I went with Toyos and I'm very impressed. Steve even helped out his staff with the install. Auto Innovations is definitely a class act. Orlando has done great work on my car for years as he and his team have consistently gotten me the best alignments numbers with my old coilovers and camber plates. Most recently, I came by to get my car set up and it went smoothly for the most part. I was given the heads up that my rear camber was inexplicably unadjustable on one side. Ultimately, I brought the car back in several days later to have the other side adjusted to match the unadjustable corner. In retrospect though, I would've really appreciated having this option discussed at the time of the original alignment to save myself a long commute and another $60. Don't get me wrong, the custom alignment work here is top notch and reasonably priced at $100. However, I would honestly recommend those with stock suspension to try other shops that have better policies with regards to adjustments (alignments here are done AS IS). read more

Good service with honesty & good price. Brought my 2008 M3 to Auto Innovations yesterday to install Eibach pro springs (to reduce the wheel well gap to give it a more aggressive look without making the ride too harsh) and had alignment done (required after any suspension works). Took them only about 3.5 hrs for all that. Love the ride and the look. The most important thing is they know what they are doing and they did a wonderful job. Orlando is the man!!! Less than $100 for an alignment for my e92 M3 and they did a great job. Not so many shops can beat that. They even offered a custom aligment set up without extra charge but I only need stock set up. Pretty sure will cost me close to $200 or more at the dealer for an alignment for my M3. If I bring it to the dealer for the same jobs, I am sure it will cost me more than $600 and have to wait longer to do all that. It cost much less and less wait time (I made an appointment ahead with Auto Innovations). Highly recommended. read more
