Well, I can officially replace my 2023 2 star review with a 2026 5 star review. This place has their "stuff" together again. My past 2023 work they did was just fine, they replaced one tire on my Tesla a year later, then repaired another tire a year after that, all no issues, good work, and fast. Today that same tire I got repaired almost two years ago had a problem, and they repaired it no charge. I'll come back if I have a problem with that, but based on my experience, it'll be fine just like everything else they've done for us in the past couple of decades. They are human beings, so nobody is perfect. But this place is about as close as it gets. Just give them a break if it doesn't look like it, they may be having a bad day that one day you visited. read more

Last Thursday, one of our tires got a flat (the same tire that the company had worked on). We took it into Luna's Tires and they had to fix the broken rim that had caused the flat. The employee said that it was never fixed from the previous flat and caused a slow leak that eventually caused the flat that had occurred last Thursday. We had to spend another $400 to get that rim on the tire repaired and borrow a tire so we could drive home safely while we wait for the repair. Theft, negligence, incompetence, poor customer service, poor management, lack of leadership, lack of responsibility, lack of pride and ownership of work. From how I've been treated by the cashiers all the way up to corporate is all a reflection of the entire company's values and mission. And it stinks. My family's safety was at risk because their employees failed to not only do their jobs properly, but took the opportunity to take advantage of their customers due to the poor operation of their store. And they continue to fail to take responsibility and make it right. No, I know for a fact the tow truck company did not steal our stuff. My husband rode in the tow truck as our van was towed to this location. It's not even about the theft anymore, it's about failing to provide satisfactory (let alone adequate) service that I paid for! I know it is such a huge ask to expect a company to make things right after they messed up so demonstrably in every way possible, let alone expect a tire company to (gasp) actually fix a tire properly. Horrible experience. I had appointment and I was early and hoping since I'm early they could work on my car, but the front guy said it will take 3 to 4 hours of lay time so I said okay. After 4 hours I came back and my car hasn't been touched and he said it would be next but the 4 hours had passed. I decided to get my key back cuz I wasted my day waiting. He was really mean to everyone who was in the store yesterday. I forgot to get his name but I remember his face. I know he is Asian and I hope this store will do something about it. read more

Came In Needing All Four Tires and Got Some Drive Guard Plus Tires . Service was great and the reps always got your back! Not sure of the desk person I had But she had my back 100% in making sure my tires were available and installed. She is truly an asset at this location! Big Shout out to Peter! He checked me in and let me know about the different options in tires I had but ultimately keep choosing the drive guard pluses. Peter and the team always takes care of my car and the service couldn't be better. Terrible Service and Discrimination Against Tesla Owners - Avoid This Location I had one of the worst experiences at Wheelworks Milpitas. As a Tesla owner with their lifetime wheel alignment package, I expected at least basic respect and fair service. Instead, I was met with dismissiveness and what felt like outright discrimination. Even though I was completely willing to wait an hour or two, the staff insisted the service would take 3-4 hours, even if I came right when they opened. When I asked for clarification or possible accommodation, the person helping me brushed me off and suggested I go somewhere else. That's not customer service -- that's avoidance. It's disappointing and unacceptable that customers who've already invested in their services are treated like an inconvenience, especially Tesla owners who were promised the same "lifetime" service as everyone else. Consider this a warning to anyone thinking about using this location: unless you want to waste your time and be talked down to, take your business elsewhere. There are plenty of other tire and alignment shops that actually respect their customers and honor their service agreements. read more

Wheel works location with lots of parking, they are typically busy as usual but if you make an appointment online it is a seamless process. If you wan't a quick job without an appointment it will be very hard to get that done, but tbh it's super hard to find that kind of service in south bay area. Their service is fast and top notch and won't try to scam you. As long as you are respectful to them, they will be respectful to you. They are very understanding if people's situations and will try to get you back on the road as safe as possible. Lot's of waiting space or there is a starbucks across the street if you want to wait for your car. read more

I wish I could of done 0 stars. These people are liars. I have a credit card with them and they allowed a man to charge my account over $1100 without my permission. All they need is your social security number and zip code and anybody can use your account. When I called the shop to ask how did this happen the service manager Albert said he didn't even know how to check the invoice to provide me with information. When I went on to tell him I used to work at a shop myself so I know there are certain things that need to be provided in order for it to me a valid sale then all of a sudden he knew how to provide me with that information. Now I'm waiting for store manager Peter to call me back. How do I start this no star review? Well I made an appointment for an oil change on a Friday for Sunday told them I have a car I bought that uses silverock for third party. They said it was fine just bring it in... come Sunday guy tells me they can't call silver rock on Sundays which was true... I go the following Saturday a week later.. guy tells me he can't call silverock on Saturday... I proceed to call silverock myself and ask if it's true.... They said no.. I go back in and tell the "manager" (very unprofessional) that I called silverock and he should call them to see if they can't take the appointment.. he proceeds to tell me he is the only person working the front that day and couldn't call them until Monday... even though there was no one in line. He takes my info and tells me he will call me that week Monday or Tuesday to proceed with the work order... keep in mind this is only for an oil change... I wait a week and call them Wednesday a week and a half later... a lady picks up and tells me they aren't able to take silver rock anymore according to that manager... so this place not only lies but doesn't even have the courtesy to call a customer.. I proceed to call corporate and make a complaint about the whole issue.. a day later they book an appointment for me... I'm not going to bring my car to a place that won't work on it unless corporate steps in... who knows what they would do to your car and what lies they will tell.. terrible service... they talk about taking care of veterans but not this one I guess. We've been going to Wheel Works for the last 5 years for oil changes, tires and minor car repairs. Recently, I've had to take my husband's car in to have a tire looked at. He ran over a nail and thankfully they were able to repair the tire. Each time I've brought one of our cars to Wheel Works we have always received good service. Peter is the best! I've gotten a few patch jobs here done along with a new tire. At first things seemed great but as time went on I decided to go to a different place. This is a really popular spot and always has an insane wait even for a small patch. They are low on staff so I understand but 4-5 for a patch is a ridiculous wait. The last time I was there the front desk guy told me i could pick it up in the evening and when I came back someone else told me they haven't started. I spoke to the manager and he helped get my car done quicker. Although some staff members here are nicer than others, there is a clear miscommunication between the staff members. I have an all wheel drive car and the last time I was there I needed a patch. They told me they couldn't do it and I needed a new tire. I was in need of a car so I agreed to a new tire, but they failed to let me know that AWD cars should switch their tires out all at once or else it could ruin the transmission. I was not aware of that and if I knew I would've made a different decision. I feel as there is a lack of care for the customer but rather wanting to just them in and out quickly. For those reasons I would recommend this place to my friends and family. read more

How could it take 6 hours for an oil change?? Dropped my car off with an appt at 9am. Trung told us it won't be ready until 3-5pm. This is actually a zero star rating. Avoid this place at all costs. 8am drop off appointment for 4 new tires scheduled and paid for a week in advance. Car dropped off at 8:05am. 5:55pm phone call from Trung the service manager "so, we didn't finish your car today, you can either leave it or pick it up. We close at 6pm". Trung insisted he was the store manager when he's not. Trung, if you are reading this please let me know how to spell your name. I do not want to be disrespectful. He was beyond unprofessional and refused to stop being a complete turd. Because one of my tires had a hole and was not holding air, I had no choice but to leave it. They open at 7am and I was told the soonest it would be done was 11am THE NEXT DAY. To summarize: They had my car for 10 hours for no reason. They did not communicate at any point that they were not going to complete the same day other than 5 minutes before they close. Service manager is a joke. Came here because I noticed a nail in my tire, turned out I had 3 nails in the same tire. What luck! Wheel Works called me and told me they could not patch the tire and wanted me to buy 2 new tires for $500+. I was not leaking any air and buy tires elsewhere so I took the car to another shop for a second opinion. None of the three nails had actually gone through, so nothing needed to be patched. The other shop helped me take the nails out and then test that no air was leaking out, and sent me on my way. I'm not sure how diligently Wheel Works looked at the issue but they were negligent at best, and fairly crooked if they knew nothing actually needed to be patched and the tire was fine. Here's another vote for Great Mall Tire Outlet, 2 mins down the road, where Frank was able to double-check everything and save me $500! read more

I just got my tires a week ago and then today my tire pressure light came on. I called wheel works to see if I need to make an appointment so they can check on it coz it's only been a week but they were dicks about it. I understand you're busy but at least pretend you care about your customers or not getting paid enough to care probably? And my cousin just noticed that some of tire caps are missing/loose. All I really wanted to know is do I have to make an appointment for you guys to check the damn tires which I spent 700+ on. Not even sure if these tires are even "new" coz why would they lose air after a week? I googled that the tire technician could've messed up something that's why my TPMS is messing up. That's great. Imagine leaving for your annual vacation road trip and the low tire pressure alert on your Ford Escape comes on. You are driving in an area (Danville/Walnut Creek) where you are not sure where to get your tire looked at. In Danville I stopped at a gas station to ask for help adding air to the tire, and the mechanic (sorry to say I didn't get his name) told me I had a slow leak and a bolt in my tire. I asked where he would recommend me to stop and get the tire repaired "Wheel Works". We asked Siri for directions to a Wheel Works location in Walnut Creek and Siri directed us to Devin Phelps at Wheel Work on Parkside Drive in Walnut Creek. We discovered the tire had a bolt and could not be repaired. Devin was wonderful and so calm. He told me "Don't worry we'll get the tire taken care of and get you on your way to Oregon." Wheel Works should clone Devin. He was at the front desk, greeting customers, working in the back and continued with his WONDERUL calm manner. THANK YOU, DEVIN. What poor customer service. Cannot even come in for a tire repair without it taking 8 hours. It is called Wheel Works for f----- sakes. Poor management systems in place. I use to come here for my other cars for many years, but never again. But of course after 6 hours of waiting they say it cannot be fixed and I need 4 new tires. These guys are complete rip off artists. They keep you hostage until you have no choice. Very dishonest company. What a shame. I got a flat tire early this morning and called Wheel Works to see if they had my specific tire in stock and could replace it in the next few days. Peter picked up the phone when I called and let me know that they could have it shipped down from Oakland today by 3pm and have the car done around 4pm. I asked for his recommendation on replacing just the single tire instead of both and he was nice enough to check my tread wear and say that I could probably get away with just replacing the one, so that's what I did. They even price matched America's Tire! Car was done promptly at 4pm as predicted. Peter and the guy at the counter were also really friendly and seemed open and honest without trying to sell me anything extra. Car mechanics and repair places are usually tough places to be happy at because you're only really there if something's wrong, but they made the best of the situation for me. I had been a customer of wheelworks for over 4 years and that is in Alum Rock. I transferred to Milpitas so I was so happy when I saw a wheelworks branch near our place. My husband went here to have his tire check with a nail and they asked him to buy 2 sets of tires. Hmmm ok we did buy the 2 sets of brand new tires. My other car had a nail again in my car and we went back again to this place. They are asking me to buy a tire. I just bought the tire less than a year ago if I was not mistaken, My husband freaked out and asked them why do they always recommend to buy tires to think the nail was too small . We left the place and hurriedly went to Alum Rock branch. Customer Service Jon was so nice and accommodating and had our car in line after several hours (because this place is always busy) our car was fixed with no cost cause of my warranty. I didn't know that each branch has a different culture. The next time I see wheelworks, I will have a doubt in my mind if ever they will have the same service that Alum Rock has been providing me for more than 4 years. read more

I generally do not write bad reviews, but what happened to me today was totally wrong, and it would hurt Wheel Work's business. I got wheel alignment done from Wheel Works at the Blossom Hill Road store a few days ago, and the service was wonderful. Wanted to get tire rotation and balancing too, but could not get it done that day because it was late in the afternoon; however, was quoted $85 for both services, tire rotation and wheel balancing. Earlier today, I had some time, so called another store near my house and was given the same quote of $85. However, a little later, I happened to be near the Abel street store in Milpitas, different than the one I called earlier, and called them to see if I could bring in my car to get the same work done. When I got there, the salesperson quoted me $145 for tire rotation and wheel balance, for which 2 Wheel Works had quoted $85. When I explained to him that what price he said was way higher than the other 2 stores, he started making excuses. Then he came down to $105, and then finally $95. He said that different Wheel Works have different prices! Another salesperson chimed in with what the first one said. He said that if I needed to get the work done, this is the last price that I would have to pay. I cautioned him that I knew that Wheel Works has standard prices, specially in the same geographic areas and what they are doing is trying to rip off unsuspecting customers and that it would hurt their business, besides it being unethical. He told me to go ahead and do whatever I wanted about it. Paying a few dollars more would not have made me poor, not it would have increased Wheel Works profits much, but it is a matter of principle that I took my business somewhere else. And, I am sure Wheel Works Administration would not want to do business this way. read more

After my road trip I got flat tires I search around only to find wheel work is open I saw a lot bad review and when I walk in the store I was greeted by Trung he smile and confirm he will be right with me after his phone call I tell him I need flat fix and he walk out to the car to check with me while the puncture is on the side wall he assure me to find best tires to replace it with and that my tires is due to be replace anyway since it been 4 year he offer the in house suredrivr and the more advanced Bridgestone tires and agree that I don't need the expensive tires if I don't want to watever got my budget since he gave me a best deal I decide to buy 4 Firestone firehawk and he assure wheel work is national wide if anything g happen wheel work and Bridgestone retail are behind they brand purchased all 4 tires and after 1.5 hr half I was on my way home with tires that is quiet and comfortable . Thank for Trung help and tech Hung to quickly get my family back on the road this guy deserve a raise I can see him work the front handle the customer like a champ read more

I saw a lot of common about Trung thatbad customer service and rude but when I stop by at 430pm on Sunday when no one is open and ask to help fix a flat tires he did tell me they closing in 30min but walk out to my car to see if it can be fixed after confirming the repair is ok to be fix he get all my information and write up a $30 flat repair while he said the shop almost closing I can wait here while he run in the back and get my flat fix for me he said he a mechanic and can do it fast , people have to really appreciate that he is one man show on Sunday while running back and forward in the front and the back shop he handle the phone and now he fixing flat tires at closing time . When he came up I can see he tired and walk in with smile saying it done in 20min ready he head back to my home in Sacramento . I pay him and drive home till now my tires is been great no issue I pray Trung so his help while late in the day but still managed be to there and care .
