I came across Auto Repair Express after an appointment with my original mechanic fell through. I had a lot more going on at the time than just car issues, so I was a bit of a mess when I walked into the front office. Rick welcomed me in, offered me coffee and water. It was close to closing, so I knew nothing was going to get done that day, but Rick offered to keep my car in his garage overnight, giving me time to figure things out with my mechanic or if I just wanted to move forward with him and his team. I got a list of repair service needed from another auto shop and the total price of the repair is more than $1000. My car is only 36k miles (year 2020） and just completed 30k maintenance service in that auto shop. I don't understand why my car needs so much repairs including gas shock, water pump drive belt, front brakes, brake fluid service, etc. I brought the list to Auto Express Shop. Rick checked the list and then lifted my car to check all required repair services in front of me in the shop. I was a novice at Car maintenance & operations for the most part prior to my visit to Auto Repair Express. I had purchased a car battery from a different business(let's call this place BOSTCO) earlier in the day, but wasn't informed until AFTER that the business did not provide installation service for car batteries. What gives? Try carrying a 80+ lbs. car battery 60ft. across a parking lot in 83 degree weather...without any available cart. Mega Lame. After numerous phone calls to various shops seeking assistance while in my hot, sitcky, and barely alive car, I came across Auto Repair Express with a hopeful conversation over the phone about getting my situation straightened out. I managed to pull up to ARE's repair garage, and was helped immediately! A very informative and hospitable staff that provided elite and efficient service in no time flat. I went to Auto Repair Express with an add that had come with the mail. I wanted a oil change in a car that is new to our family. There is no history on this '95 Honda Civic coupe. Earlier in the day I replaced the tires. The counter gentleman had no interest in going back to work, this close to 5pm. Normally I would not mind. But I pointed out to him he closed at 5:30. He told me he had deliveries to do and come back, if I wanted. He clearly did not give a shit. I left and found a shop in the same complex that was eager to do an oil change, regardless of the time. I went to AP Cars, a family owned business. They went to work on my car right away regardless of when they close. These guys care.
