The cost of items to be repaired was astronomical and the other items listed that they added on as…read more"recommended" were over inflated as well. I feel this business only cares about profit. Not to mention they took a few clips out on the front hood portion to access the radiator and failed to reinstall them. I know it's only a minor thing but complacency like this only leads to bigger problems down the road

I took my 2500 duramax in here a few months ago to have new tires and rims placed on it. I asked if…read morethey were compatible to which they said yes. I get the tires replaced, they do an alignment and they pull my truck out, nearly an hour and a half longer than they told me it would be. Before I leave, I tell them that my TPMS isn't showing any readings. The guy tells me to drive it a few times and the sensors should restore. So I take his word and leave. Of course the sensors never restore and NOW I have an ABS error and a trailer break error as well as a shaking wheel when going above 50mph. So I call and make another appointment. They tell me that the ABS error and trailer brake error had nothing to do with them, but to bring it in and have it realigned. These errors have NEVER shown up until the moment they pulled it out of their garage for the first time. They look at it again and tell me that they reset the sensors and everything should be working fine, and that they've redone the alignment. Again, I leave the store without tire sensors working with the promise it will work after a few drives. Of course, the sensors never return but the alignment is better. I call once again and make another appointment. This time they tell me that the TPMS needs to be replaced, after I was told that everything was compatible on the first tire change. They tell me it's going to cost me another couple hundred to have the TPMs done. They did end up giving me a discount, so I had them install the TPMS anyway. As well as fixing the alignment for the THIRD time. Again, another 1.5 hours longer than they said. Finally, my TPMS works, my alignment is good, BUT my trailer brake system and ABS are still showing errors. I took it to another shop and it turns out they did break my sensors during install of the new tires and rims. WHICH THEY DENIED HAVING ANY PART OF. AVOID THIS SHOP AT ALL COSTS. They don't respect your time, they charge more than any shop in the area, and they deny when things are caused by them. I went in for a tire and rim replacement and ended up going in 3-4 times to have things redone. Take it to someone else. If you're a woman who drives a truck they'll treat you like you're incompetent. I've been told by other shops that they've stopped recommending this place because of their frequent unnecessary repairs, overcharging, and damaging vehicles.

I want to thank Specialty Auto body for taking on the project of helping me and fixing my grandmas…read moreold 1996 Buick. After someone damaged the front end of my car it was worth fixing because the car had low miles at 40,000. Specialty Auto body worked with the insurance of the person who damaged my car and gave them a fair enough price to approved fixing it. I really appreciate that Specialty Auto body cared enough to help me because it took a lot of time and effort to source the parts on their end and wasn't a simple task. They were upfront and honest about the process from the beginning that it would not be a quick turn around and that there would need to be some patience on my end. They followed through, and managed to do it in a reasonable amount of time. Also, the quality of the work is very well done and I'm so glad to see my car restored to its original condition! Thanks a million to Jeremy the shop owner and his son Ryan! You're two of the good ones out there with good hearts. Also, it feels good to support a local family owned business versus going to some shop who just works for the insurance companies, and basically just totals you car and don't really care about you at all. I got really lucky this wasn't the case with Specialty Auto Body. They were there to help me and not screw me like another shop would have. Anyone I know that needs body work I will send your way! So grateful to you guys! Sincerely, Malia

I also appreciate that they offer pre-purchase inspections for vehicles you're considering buying. Honest, professional, and reliable--these guys are great.

I rarely leave reviews, but the experience I've had here warrants sharing…read more I brought my vehicle in on April 20 at 9:00 AM and was told I would receive an update by mid-week. Prior to that, I had already paid $1,200 at Greg's Japanese Auto for a full diagnostic, which confirmed the issue was a gasket. I shared this information when I dropped off my car. From that point forward, communication was extremely poor. I had to repeatedly call for updates, as promised callbacks were never made. On multiple occasions (April 22-24), I was told someone would follow up by the end of the day, but no one did. When I specifically asked to be contacted directly as the owner, they continued calling my husband instead. Despite already knowing the issue, the shop took over a week just to confirm it again and didn't even order parts until the end of that timeline. Many days--and even entire weeks--went by with zero communication unless I initiated contact. The most concerning issue is the lack of transparency, especially regarding cost. The last quoted price we were given was $6,200, and we were never contacted about any changes to pricing, parts, or services. We have now been told the total is $7,800, which is a significant increase that was never discussed or approved beforehand. At this point, I still have not received my car and am being told it "should" be ready today. I have been without my vehicle for well over a month. This has forced me to cancel plans and rearrange my schedule multiple times, adding unnecessary stress and disruption. Additional concerns include: No proactive updates for long stretches (including May 11-22) Delays in starting work with no clear explanation New issues (such as needing to order a special tool) were never communicated until I followed up Failure to follow direct instructions on who to contact When I spoke to the manager, Matt, I expressed concerns about the lack of communication and was told it would be addressed. Unfortunately, nothing improved. I understand that repairs can take time. What is not acceptable is leaving customers completely in the dark for weeks, requiring them to chase updates, and then presenting a significantly higher bill without prior approval. At minimum, customers should expect: Timely and honest communication Follow-through on promised callbacks Clear authorization for any cost increases Unfortunately, this experience fell far short of those expectations. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE FOR ANY REASON!!!
