I arrived around 10:50 a.m. on Friday, pulled into the service area, and was greeted by Michael B. He answered all of my questions, explained the recall service, gave me an estimated completion time, and reviewed all of the paperwork with me before I signed. He was friendly, professional, and communicated everything clearly. At around 2:30 p.m., Michael called to let me know my vehicle was ready for pickup. When I arrived, he went over the completed service paperwork and even walked me out to my car. As a nice bonus, they gave my Kia a complimentary car wash. My car looked fantastic--the exterior was spotless, and even the wheels were clean and dry. This was by far the best experience I've ever had at Kia Waipahu. Unfortunately, I've had disappointing service visits in the past (as I mentioned in a previous review), so this visit was a refreshing change. Michael mentioned that he's new, and I'm so glad he was the one who assisted us. His professionalism, communication, and customer service made a huge difference and completely changed our experience. We're born and raised here in Hawaiʻi, and we truly appreciate being treated with kindness, respect, and clear communication. Thank you, Michael, for providing such outstanding service. Originally went in to look at the Carnival as my family will be growing. Found good things about it, but the wife still wasn't convinced with the van. Ian ended up showing us the EV9. Still unsure about all electric. Then he showed us the newly designed 2027 Telluride. Wifey fell in love immediately. Long story short, we reserved the Telluride we wanted and ended up picking up in May 2026. Its only been about a week, but we love it. Communication and negotiations were great with Ian. We were close to not getting the trim we wanted, but Ian made it happen. So far so good with the service and products. I still keep in contact with Ian. Only time will tell with future servicing.

She contacted me by phone to inform me of her experience, and I advised her to visit another dealership. She expressed her interest in the vehicle and indicated her intention to pay in cash. However, her negative experience has led her to consider alternative dealerships. This morning, upon noticing the new vehicle while having my Tacoma serviced at the same location, I asked her to inspect it. She has stated she will not return to that dealership, which has caused me to reconsider the possibility of purchasing company vehicles from that location.

Took my car in for a warranty repair of my driver seat. When i got the car back, the side of the…read moreseat was scratched right where two panels meet and the cushion not put back on correctly. I left a voicemail about it to work this out with the service lady who proceeded later to tell me the tech took a picture of the scratch on my seat before working on my car, but i guess that's fine when the tech realizes he tried taking the seat apart the wrong way, takes picture of his mistake, then finds the correct way to access the part to replace. Service manager stated techs take pics of the area to be worked before starting work. If that's the case, i only got a picture of one side of the seat and not the other side..so tech didn't follow the service managers instructions and SM sides with her lying tech. Got it. This isn't the first time I've been lied to by techs at this dealership doing warranty work on my car. Previous visit was for ACTUALLY replacing my entertainment screen and not lying about it being done the first time. Ask me how i know...not difficult to figure out if parts get replaced or not. Why should you have to worry about this coming here??? IF you do still go to this con job of a place, at least take pics yourself of area to be worked before you rely on "Certified" techs doing the work the right way, the FIRST time! When i came to look at the vehicle i noticed the vehicle tags were expired. Firstly, the vehicle was not even ready to be sold none of the paper work for the truck was ready. Went for a test drive and notice the AC was out. So then they needed to fix the AC before i even considered buying it. They do not let you get up to highway speed when test driving it BTW so be careful when purchasing. They offered financing there DECLINE it if you can my credit was ran through a poor company called Westlake. I offered a significant amount of employment verification for them to still turn down the loan because "of fraud and inconsistency" even though i had already signed a contract of what i would be paying. While i was doing that i was also trying to get a loan through my bank to see if i could get a better loan amount. Because of that Westlake decided they needed a million things from me because i was wanting to get a loan through my personal bank. Anyways. I signed all the paperwork paid the down payment paid for the insurance and the vehicle was released to me. I had the truck for a month !!!!!! And now TCA IS DEMANDING IT BACK BECAUSE THEIR LENDER WAS A FLUKE!!! They sold a truck with broken headlights which i paid to be fixed , i installed window tint because i had THOUGHT I WOULD BE PAYING THE CONTRACT I SIGNED!!!!!! SO NOW IM OUT OF A VEHICLE AND A LOWERED CREDIT SCORE TRYING TO PURCHASE A VEHILCE FROM THIS SLIMY COMPANY There way of trying to make up for this was doing a "in house loan" at $515 a month with a 23% APR NO THANKS $30k for a $18k truck RIP OFFS

Adam decided to give me a loaner to figure out what was going on. Months passed and come to find out, they were scammed in trying to purchase me a new engine. So Adam ended up helping me find another car that's been my go to ever since. They go out of their way to make sure you get your money's worth, and I will forever be thankful this is where I got my first car. Top tier service and experience.
