Telling customers the needed repairs . Not telling customers they need repairs then chargung them for repairs not done. Then when you catch them at it and refuse the unneeded repairs you get back from them a vehicle that has two new leaks it never had before. I had never added power steering fluid in 32,000 miles after checking it regularly. After a trip to this fraud and theift store I have added two pints of power steering fluid in the next two weeks after they damaged my power steering system. I have 40 years repairing industrial equipment and 50 years repairing my own cars . Never take your car or truck to this repair shop unless you have too much money and need to throw some money away. Driven past this place a dozen times, seeing ambulances and business vehicles. Didn't realize they did auto maintenance for general public. Am I glad I checked them out when I needed a brake job and some repairs. Jordan was very professional and presented options. A company vehicle was hit by another driver causing a severe amount of damage. Travelers insurance company was trying to fight on repairing it correctly, but Auto Truck fought for me and repaired it the right way. They were always in contact with me letting me know what was going on with the repair, allowing me to relay the i fo to my clients. Service was impeccable! I have gone to them for other things and they have never tried to over sell me and tell me what is wrong and a safety concern. After seeing how good of a company they are from the insurance disaster, I now take all my vehicles to them for everything!!! Jordan and Brady are great people to do business with! I've never been more disappointed or felt as taken advantage as I do writing this review. This weekend I had my car looked at (at a different auto repair shop) because my brakes were making a funny noise. It turns out I needed new front brakes and rotors. The disappointment set in when I realized only 30,000 miles ago I got my brakes and rotors replaced at Auto Truck Service Co; however I was then showed that there is no way my rotors had been replaced (see photos.) So they charged me $220.20 for something THEY NEVER EVEN PUT ON MY CAR! The mechanic this weekend told me the rotors on my car were the original ones from the factory and that he's never seen such corroded rotors. I feel like I was taken advantage of at Auto Truck Service Co. If you don't know your way a around a car and can't hold them accountable for the work they are charging you for, I'd steer clear. read more

I brought in my vehicle, that I drive a lot for work, that had been experiencing many mechanical issues that I put off for some time. After dropping it off they let me know they be running some diagnostics and calling me with any issues they identified but may need to keep my car for a few days. They reached out to me the next day, thoroughly explained the issues and were up front about the cost of parts and labor. I felt extremely trusting and comfortable with the knowledge they provided. Really impressed. This is the first time I've ever had to get body work done on a vehicle. During the winter, I spun out on the highway, slamming into a road sign which dented my trunk. Two weeks later, I was rear-ended by another driver at a red light, cracking my bumper. Needless to say, my car took a beating -- and insurance wasn't going to cover it (next time I'll get that collision coverage....). That being said, Auto Truck Service gave me a reasonable estimate based on the extent of damage, and then worked to get the price down by calling around for used parts. I dropped my car off Monday, and just got it today -- it looks great. Really happy with the quality of work and quick turnaround -- plus they cleaned and vacuumed the car, and provided a loaner car during the service. While I don't want to have to return for any work, I trust these guys and they'll do right by you. read more

These guys are awesome! I had a problem with my hood not latching properly. I emailed them in the morning and got a very quick response back from Brady who said he could get me in that very afternoon. I headed right over and right away he took a look at it. I was in and out within half an hour. He only charged me $20 when I was expecting a bill well over a hundred at least. Completely took me by surprise. Amazing service, very friendly and honest. These guys went above and beyond my expectations (and I have high expectations). I feel bad for anyone who lives near Minneapolis and is not taking their car here for servicing or repairs. After someone clocked my parked car and damaged the front panel, I brought it to Auto Truck Service for an estimate. They provided an immediate estimate and even did a little work on it (prior to my agreeing to get the work done at their shop) so I could open the driver's door more than the 2 inches that was allowed after the accident. Brought my car in and was provided with a loaner so that I could still get around town while my car was being fixed. Really helpful! I expected that the repairs would take a whole week, but these guys finished the work in just a few days and earlier than what they had originally thought. I was blown away with how professional and practically better than new the results of the repair were. There was no evidence at all that my car had ever been smashed in. The best part was of it all was that my actual bill was LESS expensive than their original estimate. In the world of car repairs that is practically unheard of! Also, they washed and vacuumed my car gratis. Such a nice touch. I will be taking my car here for everything, always, and you should too. read more

I recently got into an accident on 394 and had my car towed to Bobby and Steve's Auto World, which was the closest shop to the accident scene. They told me that there was nothing they could do, as the cost of the repairs would far outweigh the value of the car. I had some friends look at some photos of the damage and they told me to get a second opinion, so I had my car towed to Auto Truck. They were able to fix my car with used parts and save me a TON of money. I was quotes $1800 for a new ABS module from Bobby and Steve's and the people at Auto Truck took the time to find a working used one for under $100! I'm so glad I took it my car to them and will definitely be doing all of my future business with them. Very honest and very fair! read more

These guys are terrific! I brought my car in for some work after somebody smashed into it and rendered it undrivable. After giving me a fair quote, they patiently waited while I dealt with the person that hit my car and getting payment from them. Once that was all settled and I gave them the go ahead they proceeded to get my car back on the road and stayed in contact with me on progress. To top it all off, when they were finished and I got in my car I had to double check it was really mine! They completely cleaned the inside as well, it was *filthy* before, and they cleaned it up to the point that it looks as good inside as it was the day I bought it. No joke, I actually had to reach across and touch the pasenger window to see if it was rolled up, or was it really that clean. It was really that clean! I highly recommend them! read more

I had a really good experience in this body shop. Before I decided to fix my car in Auto Truck Service Co., I had a couple quote in some other body shops includes ABRA, but Auto Truck Service Co. (I really hope you guys can change to a shorter name, which is much easier to say and remember) really has the best service with a really reasonable price. ABRA is a really big company across the whole nation, but the problem is also "big", so they can't hold the same or similar service standard in every store. However, Auto Truck Service Co. (I still think this name is too long) has all their skill workers in the same store and compare with ABRA, all their workers are more friendly. My car's quarter panel and rear bumper had a really big damage, but when I got my car back from their store. I was totally shocked by their amazing repair skill. That was a really bad damage but they made my car like new. Thank you so much to you guys and I will recommend this body shop to all my friends. read more

Sadly, this is the second time I've had to use Auto Truck for body work on my car. Both times they have been quick and done a fantastic job. I also noticed that they clean the inside of my car, which was GREAT because it had been needing it for a while. My car looks good as new! They are also really responsive with questions and will communicate with you about when your car will be done. I am very new to car repairs. The waterpump went out on my suburban and i was quoted almost 700$ (plus an additional 1100$ in suggested repairs) from a national shop. I called auto truck and they quoted me $335. Plus! The give you a loaner car for free. Now i am an annoying customer. I call a lot and ask tons of questions. Tim at auto truck always provides excellent customer service. He makes me feel like a valued customer reguardless of how many frantic calls i make. My suburban has since needed a heater core replacement and i didnt hesitate to call auto truck again. They also wash and detail your car for free after the repair. Auto truck has never tried to up sell me or suggest i repair things that are not broken. I highly recommend this shop if you are new to the repair world. Again, the free loaner car and customer service quality really make the experience stand out. read more

Money always come first. I gave them a call to ask if they could repair a leaking sunroof and what was the estimated cost. They said they DO NOT KNOW! And they said they would like to give a try on checking, but I was expected to be charged $100 a hour for JUST CHECKING, and possibly did NOT find out the problem. I'm conflicted. I wouldn't describe it as a good experience, but my car is fixed. The customer service is poor, but the work was good from what I can tell. They didn't walk me through what all was done, when I picked it up. They also didn't go over everything they ended up doing, like a more professional shop might, but they did worked to keep the price down on whatever they ended up doing, which is awesome. I guess if you don't mind a lack of professionalism or explanation, are comfortable taking the initiative with them and avoid the brunette woman, it's worth it. They worked quickly and I saved between $600-$1700 quoted from other collision shops around the Twin Cities. read more
