A loaner was not offered, leaving me without reliable transportation while my truck is being serviced. This most recent visit, the service advisor told me it would take three business days before a mechanic would even be able to look at my truck. For someone who relies on their vehicle, that is extremely frustrating and inconvenient. I was provided a shuttle ride home, but unfortunately, that experience was also concerning. The shuttle driver was watching music videos while driving, while also braking extremely hard and nearly causing several accidents. That is completely unacceptable and made me feel unsafe as a passenger. I expect better customer service, communication, and--most importantly--safe transportation from a dealership. no customer service and no communication. This is the worst service department for a dealership imaginable. I brought my truck in for a simple recall of a back camera. I was sent a letter saying I qualified. My camera went out months ago. I came in at 7am with my appointment. I saw the rep shortly after and then waited for a ride home. I attempted multiple times in the afternoon to communicate with rep. He said he'd call right back and never did. I received a text that tech said I had to pay a fee to have it checked. I refused as recall letter did not say that. He then went home with no communication till 5am when he texted me. I spoke to him about nine and he said he had to call Ford to resolve. After a few hours I called Ford Recall 1 800 and was transferred around. They were more concerned about wreck bc of no back camera I had. Eventually I told them I just want camera fixed. I was transfered back to dealer and hung up on. I tried my service guy once more and he had no solutions to offer. I picked up truck. As service guy was handing keys he said tech really thought it was not camera but electrical. This screams bait and switch. Have me come in and not fix something and find a new problem??? dropped off my 2023 Expedition on 1/23 for cruise control and battery charging issues. I was told the windshield, installed by another Ford dealer, was non-OEM and causing the problems, which I find hard to believe given my 20 years of experience in the car business. Dealerships almost never use OEM windshields. I believe this was a sales tactic. Regarding the charging system, I was initially told I needed a new battery to diagnose the issue. After that, they said the alternator was bad (warranty covered), but when I asked for my original battery back, they claimed it was gone, even though it had been there for less than a day, leaving me with the new battery. Fast forward to yesterday, two months later. I was provided a loaner vehicle since my Expedition was not ready. Due to the delayed pickup, I had to take the loaner to Corpus Christi, where the windshield sustained a small chip. Now that they finally returned my Expedition, they told that i have to pay over 900 dollars for an new windshield. I am truly disappointed as i had used this dealership since 2010. My recent visit these last 2 times in lesd than a month was very unfavorable. I took my SUV in for a repair and was running great, however when i got it back it was making a noise. So i had to leave it again at the shop, unrepaired. Nauder, the service manager was rude, unprofessional, disrespectful to my brother and I and unwilling to assist with our needs.we had to get Brady, the director involved so that to discuss address my concerns for my SUV. Although, he was helpful and did try to assist our needs were still bot met and had to leave my suv there due to overheating and undrivable, mind you i had already paid. The least they couldve offered was to tow it to my residence so u can repair it. Ok so I went to this dealership after going to a few other dealerships to see if I could find a truck due to the fact they everyone was advertising truck month and killer deals on line.... First don't believe the hype it's all a gimmick to get you in the door and get you in a vehicle...... secondly read you paper work very carefully I tried to call the dealer and rectify the issue but I was told they couldn't that it was done and finalized..... I asked multiple times if they couldn't remove the paint protection policy due to the fact that I wasn't interested in it they said no that things were applied to the paint and it wouldn't be possible to remove from the financing.... That was a complete lie.. once I went over my paperwork I seen in small print that it wasn't mandatory to get the protection done.... So be very careful as things will be said during the transaction that may be deceitful and unethical.... I mean for gods sake these are sales men what can we expect......also if you get a truck from here look it over very very well, I was actually missing trim which I called them Out and they got me some of the side trim pieces I was missis also still missing the lower engine cover and all the bolts so when I go through a drive through the engine noise is very loud and annoying when next to a building.... Also missing the hood trim ... makes me wonder what else they took off this damn truck My next issue was the finance department or you can say in addition too my current issue.... The issues I already had with being charged with products I didn't need..... word of advice leave if they won't work with you, don't trust them... there is very shady tactics that go on in this place and although my issues won't be addressed word of mouth travels a vast distance..... the finance department also tried to say that my interest rate would be around 7.9% percent when it was also advertised that there was 0-2.9% interest rates available depending on length of financing, mind you I have a1 credit, my debt to incoming is very good.... I make a lot more than I currently owe....... While trying to get an out the door price I was told that if I got a low interest rate that I wouldn't be able to get any of the rebates that ford offers that I would have to take a higher interest rate... I was very upset and walked off, then they promised a lower interest rate.... Which wasn't much better...... the prices advertised online were nothing like the prices once you get there and start applying for credit which mind you I applied to way before even going.... So Word Of Advice!!!!!!!!! Go to a credit union or your own bank!!!!! Avoid ford financing at all cost if you can, they will not give you an interest rate ever until you are basically signing for the truck...... the upsell is insane... the warranty was priced at 5k!!!!! Glass protection another $800or so.... Gap another $1200..... before you know it you're paying 60k on a v6 stx........ it's insane when you look at the amount of ad on and b/s that they try and slide in there..... now my sales man was pretty decent we did have some little issues but we worked through it thanks Joey....... I asked around why all the games why all the shady tactics I was told that it's what ford wants... its to get you in the door and pull your pants down before you notice you're getting screwed.... Will they honor any of the online prices.... Not a chance!!!! Should it be illegal of course it should! But this is what I'm told Ford forces its workers to do...... I heard this at a few of the other dealerships as well....... The only positive thing I can say about this dealership over the other ones is they are a little bit more transparent in what you will be paying for, the 2 other dealerships did not want to give me a price breakdown on what n why I was paying for.... In the end I ended up getting a vehicle from here, the price was okay and it had some options.... Like 4x4 and lane detection and the bed liner....... Did not get any of the maintenance contracts or any complimentary service not sure I would want too, after dealing with all the b/s......... what as weird was I asked for a cash price n they said they would have to charge me more!!!!!! Next time a buy a vehicle I'm Not sure what brand or dealership I will go to but there was a lot to learn for my current experience. I live in Rosenberg, but I bought the truck here so I brought it here. Make it all the way over here to drop truck off to get turned around and sent back home because a loaner is two weeks out. The service here is terrible. After going here multiple times and having a bad experience every time, we're driving further to go to another location. A lot of the workers are young and just hang around and chat and play when it seems like they could be getting work done. I once had to stand in front of the counter waiting in front of two workers behind the counter to finish having their playful conversation so I could get one my questions answered. My first experience I was 7 months pregnant waiting for my oil change to be done. It took 3 hours. For one of those hours, my car was sitting done and no one bothered to come up to me and tell me my car was done. 30 minutes into that hour I asked someone about my car and they told me someone would come get me in a bit. 30 minutes later, I went and asked again, stating that I'm staring at my serviced car and I'm ready to go home! In the shop now waiting on what is wrong. Called General Manager Matt Stevens. Left a voicemail sharing issues and asking for a return call. Nothing. Sent a letter to him and service manager. I started the buying process on August 25, 2025, putting down my down payment and signing paperwork. The dealership had already listed the truck, but then kept it to do some repairs, and it wasn't ready until August 28, 2025, when I picked it up after work around 8:30 PM. By 4:00 AM the very next morning, less than 8 hours later, the check engine light came on. I called as soon as they opened, explained the error codes showing in the FordPass app, and was told to bring it in. The codes pointed to an erratic timing sensor, which turned out to be the cam phasers. They've already had my truck for 7 days, and I've been told they'll have it for at least another week. By the time I get it back, my first payment will already be due -- and I haven't even had the chance to truly drive it or get comfortable in it. What's worse is it's clear they listed and sold me the truck without properly checking it over. Basic things like an oil change weren't even done before handing me the keys. That's extremely disappointing from a dealership that's supposed to have a reputation for quality. I still appreciate the professionalism of Travis Beaver and Alister during the sales process, but the overall experience has been a letdown. When you buy a vehicle from what's supposed to be a reputable dealership, you don't expect to be without it almost immediately -- or find out it wasn't even properly serviced before you drove it off the lot. read more

I made an appointment to have my Ford Mustang analyzed for intermittently failing to start ignition when pushing the start button. They picked the date 10-23-25 at 8:30 am. I thought with this information, they'd be prepared to work on my car as per scheduled date/time. However, when I brought the vehicle, Jose, told me I'd have to leave the vehicle and maybe mid-week next week they'd have someone available to look at my vehicle. That is very unacceptable. If it is going to take that long, then what benefit does it have making appointments? I purchased two vehicles from this dealership, and planning on getting a new Ford Explorer soon. I took my truck there to Autonation Ford. I am a client there, and they stole the plastics from my Ford Explorer the last time I took it about two months ago. They returned it to me without the plastics that cover the engine and the one that goes underneath so it doesn't leave an oil stain. When I picked it up, I noticed that it didn't have the plastics that cover them. I told the person who helped me the whole time, his name is Alex F. We bought a used Ford expedition and bought full warranty with it. A few days later it started making noises and the oil light came on. We went to get our tags and talked to the front desk about the car and was told to go to the service department so we did. This was Friday afternoon we were told by Alex to leave the vehicle and we should have it back around Monday and if we got a rental it would be refunded so we did. 2 weeks later nothing has been done to our vehicle and we were just informed that we will not get refunded nor will we get a loaner and also the extended warranty might not cover the issues the car had before we bought it. So I've been trying to call them an email them for 2 weeks now and zero response. Now I'm stuck up here in Memphis debating on if to put my truck in the shop bc they are saying it will take about 5 days to even do the diagnostic on it but they aren't willing to tell me if I can get a loaner car for the time they have it. As part of the purchase agreement, the dealership promised to handle all scheduled maintenance, including an oil change, which was also noted on the Carfax report as completed on November 29, 2024, during their pre-delivery inspection. However, just a month after the purchase, I received a notification from the car stating it was due for an oil change. I took the vehicle to BMW Midtown for service, where I was informed that the oil drain plug had been over-torqued, causing damage to the oil pan. BMW Midtown explained that the oil change likely wasn't done properly or was mishandled, resulting in this issue. When I contacted AutoNation Ford's sales manager, Jose, he declined any responsibility, citing that the car was purchased "as is" and was outside of the timeframe where they would assist. This was despite the verbal promise made at the time of sale and the fact that the Carfax report indicated an oil change was done on November 29, 2024, before delivery. At this point, I am requesting warranty coverage on the work that was performed to my vehicle--specifically, the oil change and the damage caused by improper handling of the oil drain plug. Given that this work was promised as part of the pre-delivery inspection, I believe it is the dealership's responsibility to ensure that the work was completed properly. The dealership's refusal to take accountability has led to an unexpected $4,000 repair bill, and I feel strongly that they should be held responsible for the damage caused by their actions. I purchased the 2024 Ford Mustang brand new from AutoNation Ford Gulf Freeway on January 22, 2024. I live 40 minutes, one-way, from the dealership and have had to take off work to make several trips to get my brand new car serviced. On Jan 31, 2024, I brought my car into the dealership because the car was not detailed on the day I bought the car. I received a service light on the dashboard of the brand new car after one month of owning the car. I had to bring my car again because the steering wheel was tearing on a BRAND NEW vehicle. The steering wheel was coming apart at the seams. It took over 1 month for the dealership to fix. That is unacceptable. When my steering wheel was replaced, the technician cracked my dashboard and now the company the dealership is refusing to repair. Even worse, I was informed that my steering wheel replacement was done at Autonation Acura and not AutoNation Ford Gulf Freeway. I did not authorize my steering wheel replacement service to be done at Autonation Acura nor was I informed of this prior to service. I have experienced countless inconveniences, including taking off work, coming to the dealership for service on a brand new car that I have had for two months, and not being able to receive a loaner car each and every time my car was serviced. The response time from management and the repair service at AutoNation Ford is unacceptable and I would not recommend this location to any customer. I definitely feel the dealership has taken advantage of me as a customer and as a woman assuming. I don't know anything about cars. At each time I had a service appointment, I was denied requests to get a rental car for the day, which is unacceptable and an inconvenience for my place of employment. I have a fulltime job. I had to take off of work to get a faulty brand new car serviced numerous times from AutoNation Ford Gulf Freeway. I purchased a vehicle on June 4th, expecting it to be ready for pickup on June 5th before my vacation. Upon arrival, I found that the passenger side mirror was broken. My salesman assured me that the part would be ordered as it was missed during the inspection. I left the dealership and went on vacation. After returning on June 11th, I reported several severe issues with the vehicle to said salesman. The car was shaking at speeds over 60 MPH, stalling mid-drive, failing to accelerate, and eventually would not start at all. On June 17th, I brought the vehicle in for service and was told that the motor, engine, and transmission mounts needed replacement. I was assured it was safe to drive over the weekend, but the problems persisted and worsened. The vehicle failed to start again, and I felt unsafe driving it, especially with my children in the car. On June 25th, the vehicle was picked up from my home and has been with AUTONATION Ford since then. Despite numerous attempts to get updates, communication has been inadequate, and there has been no managerial follow-up. On August 6th, I was informed that the repairs were complete. However, upon picking up the vehicle, it continued to shake intensely, leading me to return it immediately. Now, 99 days later, I am being told that the axle is broken. This situation is unacceptable, especially considering the vehicle was clearly defective before I even received it. As a single mother of two small children, I am extremely concerned about the safety of the vehicle and the lack of transparency throughout this process. I am demanding immediate intervention from management to resolve this issue. I expect either a complete and timely repair, a replacement of the vehicle at no additional cost, or a full refund. I also require a clear timeline for resolution and a detailed explanation of the steps being taken. If necessary, I am prepared to involve legal assistance. The ongoing issues with the vehicle, along with the prolonged and inadequate service, are unacceptable. My engine in my Ford 2019 Ford EcoSport went out on January 7th and they replaced it and gave my vehicle back to me on January 22nd. On the 23rd while I was driving my front driver's side wheel and axel fell off my car. Marco and his genius of a mechanic crew FORGOT to screw the axel back oplace after they replaced the engine. Mind you im pleased because I do have a rental. But this the kicker they gave me my vehicle back after supposedly fixing the axel, bumper and everything else that was ruined because of that clusterfuq of a job. Then the transmission pump and transmission needed to be replaced. It took them 7 months. I JUST ot my vehicle back last week August 23rd. Aaaaaaand they gave it bCk to me and in two days the spunal in the right tire broke whicj something they replaced or at least handled dir to the axel. They don't want to answer the phone and they don't want to help you resolve the problem unless you spend more money on a new vehicle. Autonation is a sale only service. If you're lucky to get out with nothing wrong. You should be fine, because after the sale, they don't care about you. I purchased an extended warranty on 04/30. I had to come to the place in person to cancel it on 05/07. Abid, the finance manager gave me a paper to sign. I signed, and he said it is done. But it has never been. I followed up on 06/03, he said he couldn't cancel because of the minimum amount required on the loan. However, my loan first bill statement sent on 05/18, and I can start making payment since then. He also said give him about 3 weeks, which I am ok. I followed up again 06/20 by email, no response. I came to his office again on 06/22, he said he has done it and I would receive by 07/05, or else contact him again. He gave me his phone number. 07/07, I followed again, he said he was off. 07/08, I texted again, he said it was weekends, and cancellation must be done on weekdays. 07/11, he said it would get it done by the end of the day. 07/12, it hasn't done yet! About Autonation service, their General Manager at (713) 489-2097 doesn't exist. They will hang up on you when you don't talk about buying cars. You can try it to see if it is true. Service department is backed up to the max. Not sure why they bother on taking in more appointments if they can't even get the cars they have waiting to be serviced out... took in my car 2 weeks ago.. going on three. Any call or message. I wouldn't get a response. You have to be annoying in order to get answers. They also won't supply you with a loaner so good luck with paying for uber and asking around for rides. When you do get a response it's an "I'm not sure" "I don't know anything" "I'm waiting for the technician to give me information"... as if they can't walk 10 feet to the shop and ask the technician face to face.. anyways don't bother to get your car serviced. Even if you have warranty like I do. You're better off paying out of pocket at a small shop to get it fixed.. all they do is beat around the bush or tell you they ordered the wrong parts to buy themselves time. Pushing my car to be there for a month... lol. If you have to have your car serviced do NOT SERVICE WITH JYLES. I've never heard someone give so many excuses and be so clueless. Service with Angie! Got a letter in the mail regarding a recall on my F-150. Went there to get the recall performed. Service writer came back saying that my truck needed the brake pads replaced that is was "dangerously" worn out. I wanted to see the brake pads myself because I had them changed at a local independent mechanic 2 months and about 900 miles before that due to costs and my vehicle was out of warranty. Service writer would not show me the "worn pads" because he lied and want to charge me hundreds of dollars for unnecessary work. Made a big stink in the waiting area. . I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction and disappointment with the unprofessional and horrible experience I recently had with this dealership. I believe it is important for you to be aware of the situation so that you don't make the same mistake I did. To begin with, I was misled about the car I intended to purchase. A sales representatives assured me that the car was ready for purchase, only to find out later that it was not. As a result, they offered me an alternative vehicle, a Honda Oddesy van, which I decided to purchase on 11-02-23. However, just a week after driving it, the engine light came on. Concerned about this sudden issue, I took the van to a professional shop for diagnosis. To my dismay, I discovered that they had sold me a vehicle with a broken catalytic converter. This revelation was especially frustrating because I was specifically told by Auto Ford Nation that all cars are serviced on the lot. It is evident that I was misled by multiple car salesmen especially who seemed to give me the runaround, and even a front manager named Robert who falsely promised to order the necessary parts and neve contacted me. Furthermore, throughout my ownership of the vehicle, I diligently reached out to the dealership every week to see if they ordered the parts for my car, as I believed this was the proper protocol for getting my car serviced. However, I recently learned from the service department that I am required to physically bring the car to the dealership for servicing. I've been waiting a month in a half. This lack of clear communication and inconsistent information has only added to my frustration and inconvenience. What troubles me even more is the fact that I am still making monthly payments on this car, yet it has already exhibited a major issue. It is unfair that I am expected to continue paying for a vehicle that is not functioning properly due to a fault that existed at the time of purchase. Also not to mention I put 6,000$ down on the vehicle. I understand the vehicle is used but that has nothing to do with what you guys are telling people.Supposedly You guys moto is you service all your cars on the lot but that's a lie. Also I've asked serval people for names of all the employees who has mistreated me and tried to belittle me for buying a used car.
