What a terrific shop! Our 2008 Sequoia and Accord are showing their age and need attention. Jesus was very patient with our long list of issues, explained what things were common and what would require investigation. He was very courteous and knowledgeable. My car was acting up after a shift at work, found a sparking wire and saw how RepairSmith had some of the best ratings so I took a chance and booked an appointment. (I've only ever went to shops so I was a little nervous because this was something new for me) Tarik was the most helpful person I've ever encountered in the car service industry, and trust me I've seen my fair share of places for my old car. He was hands down the most informative, kind, and trustworthy mechanic I've ever met. He explained everything to me, gave me the best options for the outcome of my car, and didn't try the dance around the issue and up-charge me. He made me feel comfortable with our decisions which is huge for me because I'm a woman who's been taken advantage of by other places with my lack of information for cars. I have a Mercedes that needed front brakes and rotors and the repair person went to Mercedes to get the rotors and brought them back to my residence and repaired my vehicle. The tech - Chris - was awesome completed everything in under an hour and a half and for under $700 which Mercedes had quoted me just under $2000 they are awesome!!!!!! read more

I had an unusual situation where my husband was not able to finish the repair on his truck due to lack of tools. I called and asked if RepairSmith could finish the job. I waited on hold, explained exactly where we were because if they couldn't do it, I would try elsewhere. I was told they would finish the job, set an appointment, asked my son to spend his day off waiting for the mechanic to arrive, just to be told they don't finish something started by someone else. I would not have been angry if that had been communicated when I asked the question. Then the District Mgr., Chris, tried to say it was because I had not been honest about the request. Utterly horrible experience! Thankfully, I found a wonderful and honest mechanic whose shop finished the repairs and now my husband is happily driving his truck again. They don't read notes and then failed to even show up the second time. Put in the notes the exact error code and they brought the wrong part. They rescheduled while mechanic was there. They sent confirmation text and email the day before appointment and never came for the appointment. Just going to the dealership to get it fixed at this point. The price was better until I lost 2 half days waiting for them. read more

I heard the ad on the radio and use the promo code for a $25 discount. Their service was amazing, Chris the mechanic was friendly. And even without the discount it was still over 10% cheaper than the local "at the repair shop. How can you beat having them come to your house and still be productive. No other way to have mechanical work done. read more

I was given repair Smith as a company to repair my car through warranty company had the guy come out to my house where I live said I needed a catalytic converter and both oxygen sensors replace said they would be calling my warranty for approval the next morning they didn't call I had to keep bugging them for 5 days before they finally called my warranty company to get approval my warranty company approved it right away and then all of a sudden repair Smith couldn't fix my car by my residence and said I needed to take it to a shop even though the tech told me they have a shop and mobile services and the technician that came out to look at my car and diagnosed the problem told me it would be no problem repairing it where I live no they said they couldn't repair it because they got irritated because I had to keep calling well if you would have did your job and called my warranty company when you were supposed to I wouldn't have had to keep bugging you do not recommend them they suck read more

As appealing as it sounds to have a mechanic come to your house and not have to wait hours in the shop, save yourself time, money and trouble and take your vehicle to a reputable repair shop. I called RepairSmith to have an alternator replaced on my vehicle. It took the mechanic approximately five hours to change the alternator. When I arrived home the car started but the AC was blowing heat. I pop the trunk hood and discovered the mechanic left paper towels under my clothes hood and driveway as well. When I called RepairSmith to complain about the AC problem they offered to run diagnostic test but wanted to charge me $55 for another problem that their mechanic caused. Just another way for them to fix one problem and cause another so the customer ends up calling them back out, paying them more money for additional problems that RepairSmith caused. This was a roller coaster from the start I went with them because I needed a mobile mechanic for my repair and after they came and properly had a diagnostic they set up an appointment for me to get my repair however the day of my repair, Literally the day of I get a message saying that they have to reschedule the repair and when I call they say that it's because they didn't have the part in yet. Now I'm reasonable and I can understand that but you knew you didn't have the part in prior to the day of the appointment so why did you wait until the day of the appointment to let me know that. Shortly after once they got the part in my appointment was scheduled on a Sunday arrival time between 8 and 10 AM. When I called customer service because I wanted an ETA and they say 30 minutes. I kid you not 30 minutes goes by and the technician that was supposed to be working on my car calls me and says hey we don't have the right part or something to that degree and because it Sunday we're not sure we can get it today so we're gonna have to reschedule again especially since this repair is going to take quite a long time. So the new date for the repair comes around and they come in a relatively decent time and then after about 20 minutes I got a phone call from the technician saying hey I can't do this repair here you're going to have to take this car to the hub. He explains why and then proceeds to tell me that their hub is in Mesa and if I didn't feel comfortable driving my car then I was going to be responsible for getting it towed. Now you guys are offering a MOBILE repair service. You offered the MOBILE repair service and now you can't get the work done so I have to be financially responsible for getting it there. Also I would like to note he said once it was at the hub, it wouldn't be worked on until two days later my appointment was today it's not my fault that you weren't able to complete my appointment but now I have to wait two days for you to even START on my car which means I probably won't get my car 3 to 4 days from now. I was over it at that point but nonetheless I asked for the address and when I pulled it up I made a comment to the technician saying hey the address you gave me it just says an apartment and then he proceeds to say oh no it does that it's just going to be behind a building and the signage is very small but you'll see it. I say okay and then luckily my car does start and I proceed to drive about 35 minutes to the location with someone following me. I get there to the address that he gave me and "WHAT DO WE HAVE" ???apartment buildings ! that's it it's just a bunch of houses and apartments. He gave me his cell number but because he is a technician I honestly did not want to bother him if he was doing any work so I called the customer service line because that's what they are customer service. I called customer service explaining that the technician told me that I have to drive my car to the hub because he was unable to perform the mobile repair, The representative proceeds to ask me what his name is when did he do the repair. I proceed to tell him I don't know his name I had an appointment this morning he came to the appointment but he was unable to do the repair so he says I have to go to the hub however the address he gave me I can't find it so if could you confirm this address or maybe perhaps he missed the number. Could you give me the correct address ?? He proceeds to ask me the same questions again and then I just say listen can you help me or not and he says I am not really sure what you're talking about we don't have a hub. I literally wanted to scream at this point so I called the technician on his cell and he says oh my God you did say that I'm so sorry and he says let me call my manager so I can make sure I have the correct address. He called me back and he did not have the correct address when he gave it to me. I was over it, I needed my car fixed yes but I was over it completely. I am usually very understanding and very reasonable but this whole situation was just so unnecessary and just filled with incompetence. It's funny because when the technician was on the phone trying to figure out something he did make a comment saying that higher-ups were giving his managers a lot of heat because the way business was going. Maybe they should take heed to that and just do better overall. read more

My car broke down due to my alternator needing to be replaced. I needed a mobile mechanic due to it being down. I requested a quote and got a reply quickly but I couldn't confirm my appointment. When I called the person was polite and state next day wasn't possible and it would have to be two days later. He offered a $25 discount which I gladly accepted. On the date mechanic was supposed to be here by 11am and he called two minutes earlier already here and by my car. He called and texted me his arrival. Met the mechanic who was very professional and courteous. He was able to answer all of my questions and had the job done in the estimated time. I tried to start my car and it started no problem. He also went over his inspection of my car for preventive action. First time customer and I am extremely pleased with the company and Wes the mechanic. Thank you very much! read more

I made my appointment and it was revised 3 times which I was worried about. Once my mechanic arrive he apologized as his last appointment customer had more requests than what they booked for. Which again compassion people!!!! Once Jacob got down and took a look at my Silverado oil leak he said don't worry I'll have your truck done as soon as I run and grab the oil. The last place left my cap loose resulting in a leak and I couldn't drive on no oil. He was so fast and kind I wish I could give more stars. He not only was honest and sincere but also offered to place my battery top back on and wiped up the spilt oil which they only need to do what they are scheduled to do so this was nice of him. So yea he may have been a little late but jobs are unpredictable and nothing could beat the service. Good job Jacob for being willing to help fast and efficient under the cost of other mechanics. they came out, did a test, and then made an appointment to come out and replace the starter... After they replace the starter they try to tell me that I needed a $500 battery, my battery is barely 2 years old so I knew I did not need a new battery... I started the car the first time started up... The second time on the same day I went to start it wouldn't turn over wouldn't turn over wouldn't turn over and then finally turned over, so I ran down to AutoZone to have them check the battery they said there is nothing wrong with me Battery... So I called repair Smith and he said well we can come back out it'll be another $130 and then they were not going to even come out for another three days... How are you going to charge someone almost $500 and on the same day it breaks down and then you want to charge me another $130 to run the same test that you just ran... I will never use this company again read more
