On Monday, I heard a grinding noise coming from my rear right wheel so I took the tire and brake drum off to find hardware falling off the pads. I didn't feel it was safe to drive to a mechanic and getting it towed would be pricey. Thus, I googled mobile mechanics and found this company. I was able to book a next day appointment between 12-2 and the mechanic arrived on time. He was very upfront about the cost, and told me before inspection there was a fee. After inspecting the brakes, he recommended replacing the hardware. He did not have the hardware on hand so he went and got the hardware and replaced it. Prior to the repair, he made sure the cost was ok with me. He test drove the car to make sure it was a successful repair. Lo and behold, this issue started on Monday and was fixed by Tuesday afternoon. The mechanic was very knowledgeable, friendly and punctual. He came to my apartment to change my oil and it was done quickly, I appreciated that he let me know that my engine oil filter was dirty (and showed me the photo evidence) and let me know I should replace it but didn't sit there and pressure me about it or make me feel like I'm being scammed. Had an appointment, they didn't show and charged me a $50 cancellation fee. I called to see what was going on. The tech had the wrong number for me although my account has the correct phone number. They showed up, called the WRONG NUMBER then left. They didn't knock or ring the doorbell. Customer service rep said as a curtosey they don't knock???? That's basic customer service!!! You're at the location of the appointment, the car that you're repairing is in the driveway so knock on the door if someone doesn't answer the phone!!! I am beyond livid! Of course there was no management to talk to, I will get an email from an escalation team in 24-48 hours! Unbelievable!!! We had someone come out here in Arizona and remove a part. Said he would have to order new parts and we agreed. We waited a week the driver pulls up over 30 minutes after the time window and says since it was already started the last time the guy should have told you we cannot work on it. Her then left.I called and they said because it is lowered or as they called it "heavily modified " we can't touch it. How about telling us that from the start. The guy on the phone also said he would get it to a manager and at least call us back. Never happened. Horrible communication and un-professional at every level here in Phoenix. My Mazda car battery died and tried jumpstart with no fix. Put a new battery but that didn't fix the issue. It would not start but all the dash lights came on. Called this mobile service for a diagnosis appt. ($130) and they were able to start it with their scan tool but it wouldn't shift into gear. They said it might be problem with the brake switch since it's a push button start. Had to schedule another mobile appt. for them to come back and install part. They installed a part that cost $78 and still no start on its own. So a warranty inspection was needed. Another mobile appt. and was charged $130 for them to rediagnose. This time they wanted me to tow it to their hub for a deeper diagnosis because it might be a problem with wire harness or transmission module. I drew the line because their slogan is "Repair service delivered". I thought to myself why waste any more money if they can't fix it at my home. I spent over $300 so far. I came to my senses and decided to go to the Mazda dealer. Had it towed to Mazda and at the end of the day they found the problem to be blown 15amp fuse. I will not recommend Repairsmith. read more

It might not be a good to hire these folks on "complex issues". While they charged $95 for their time I cant complain as I called them and the tech did try. I found this company on line and set up an appointment for the next day between 2:00 and 4:00 for them to replace my headlamp assembly on our Lexus. They confirmed and we waited and waited. Finally got a call at 4:15 saying they cannot use our parts and would have to order the parts themselves. Nothing was said about that until after the appointment had come and gone. I had a confirmed appointment for today from 8 - 10 am. Since there is NO PHONE NUMBER on their website to call anyone I used their chat feature around 9:15 since I hadn't heard from the driver that he was on his way. I was told the drive has a 2 hour window and to call if they are not there by 10. So at 9:55 I used the chat again and was told there was a scheduling issue. I was fine with all of this because things happen BUT as Im chatting with the rep I get a text that says "We arrived on site and attempted to contact you. We waited 15 minutes before leaving. So I've used this business several times in the past and thought that this was the perfect opportunity to care for my automotive needs while at work instead of waiting for an off day. The first red flag was when I made an appointment back in April to have my brake fluid serviced - according to them it was dirty and needed to be drained and replaced - got that done and as I asked questions after the "Tech" finished said that when he went to get a certain part, the place gave him the wrong part but he compromised. REALLY!!!!!!!! I then said how is that going to effect my service that I was getting? He assured me that it would be fine and won't harm anything and was going to only charge me for what he actually did versus what I was quoted and said next time I need to get an oil change to ask for him specifically and he will do it for no charge. YEAH RIGHT! How will that fair with your company? Don't think that's how that works. Which brings us to this issue at hand. My car was sure for an oil change. So I actually tried to give this dude the benefit of the doubt so I requested him but of course that as I knew wasn't happening and neither was my oil change apparently. My appointment was for 7/23/21 - it started off with the "Tech" being late. I thought when you made an appointment they gave a window. He was wayyy out of that window, It was sprinkling that day so as it got closer to that window I wrote it off at that but again he was wayyy out the window by now. No call to say he was running late or anything. I had to reach out to find out where he was. Finally he shows up. Although I stated I couldn't talk on the phone bc I was at work and to text me to communicate like they've done in the past, he was still trying to reach out until he finally texted and said he was done. Really! That didn't take as long as it usually does - I've used them for an oil change before so this was weird. But okay. I go down to the car on my lunch just to make sure all was good and to see when my next oil change would be due and I saw smoke coming from under the hood. WAIT WTH!!!!!! In my head I'm thinking maybe he spilled a little oil on the engine which really shouldn't have happened if he was using an oil funnel. Then looked up and there was no sticker. These red flags and all the others are concerning for me. I immediately reach out to let the company know. The person I talked to at first was very understanding and agreed that it should not have been smoking so he set up an appointment for someone to come back out to do a diagnosis to make sure all was good at no charge but bc I was on lunch I took the first available appointment he had that was a week out. Well of course that wasn't going to fly bc I have to drive with my other job and have appointments and wasn't going to chance driving until I knew what was wrong. Called back to get a soon appointment and after getting the run around finally got an appointment 2 days later- When the guy called back his exact words were "I hear we're coming out to put a sticker in the window that the Tech forgot to put in your window. REALLY!!!!!!!! We're still not communicating with your company to find out the real issue as to you coming back out! Any he came out and put a sticker in for next oil change and not sure what he checked but after he did what he did he sent me my report of his visit. Why did the report say upon his arrival my battery was dead and needed attention. WOWWWWWWW! In addition to everything else now my battery is dead. I literally just got that battery about 6 months ago. Luckily it was still cover under warranty and I got another one so WTH did this other dude do? Or not do. I just drove my car the day before when I parked it with no problems. Moving forward to a couple days ago my dash lights up to change oil soon. Once again I tried to reach out via chat and kept getting mysteriously kicked out after being told they could send someone out to do a diagnosis on it but if it's found that it's not an issue with something they did I would be charged $95. From jump I requested to speak to someone not chat. Never happened so I called and couldn't get an answer sent out not one but two emails and still haven't received a response from anyone with the company. Last time I checked- when your light comes on saying change oil soon means it's time to change your oil- my car tells me that when it's time. Why would that come on if I JUST supposedly got it done in July and I'm not even close to the Tim to change it again. Something is very wrong with this picture and company. Beware!!!! read more

(Been two days, no call back from management) First quote was great, set the appointment, but the mechanic needed to repair something else before getting to the original problem. So I called back for a quote for all needed work, and some how went from $75 to $200 for just the original problem plus $85 for new work added on. How did the original problem go up $125??? I have an invoice for the original quote, so they need to honor that. Customers shouldn't have to jump through hoops to contact you guys, then have to be upcharged on quotes "just because."
