Today I want to be AutoZone on Union Avenue, and I admitted staff member by the name of Kiersten, and that must tell you that this was the most courteous understanding and knowledgeable sales rep that I've ever met in any AutoZone that I've ever been to in the past. She was very knowledgeable, and I can tear it right all she knew exactly what she was doing, she was able to find the item that was looking for, quickly I might add, and she also found me the lowest price, I'm never found any representative in any store for that matter to be as courteous and willing to help at any store ever been! So it was time for both my vehicle's oil change. I arrived to this store and right off the manager greeted me well and attended me as I requested what I needed. The store looks organized, clean, good lighting and great temperature. I had lost my rewards card and the manager gave me a new one, however; I had to call in the 800 number to transfer my reward points over. I had to hang around a little longer that I wanted but it's ok (this is why I gave 4 stars) I will come back! read more

This is the Autozone on the corner of Union Ave and Benard Street. It is as clean as you can expect an auto parts store to be. The customer service is professional if not a tad bit slow. To be honest, I prefer to come here to this joint vs a certain O' competitor over on Niles. Meh. read more

I rarely give 5-stars, however, because of their employee Blake Borden I did! Stopped by on a Saturday evening because my tail light went out. Because I'm from Los Angeles and was just in Bakersfield for my job, I had to fix it ASAP. Blake Not only helped me right away, but offered to go out to my car to see if he could install the bulb. It wasn't a simple job to most, it actually required a 10mm wrench and 3 screws had to be removed......Blake did the job and made it happen! The CEO of Auto Zone should read this review :) read more

My car stopped on me last night and I was informed I needed a new battery. I got a jump from the location I was at and drove home. This morning I woke up knowing I needed to go and buy a new battery so I was prepared mentally to get it done. I am a single woman so it's considered a task for me. I went to the Auto Zone where I bought my last battery parked in the parking lot and called inside the store for assistance. Noah G answered the phone and I explained to him I was outside in the parking lot not wanting to turn my car off in fear of not being able to start my car again. He did not hesitate to say "I'll be right there"...at that point I started to feel a lot less stressed knowing I had a willing person to help me. Noah came outside to my car with all the tools needed to take my battery out and after taking the battery out he proceeded to accompany me inside the store, without hesitation Noah opened the door to let me in first as a perfect gentleman does. I knew then I had been blessed by God to have such a nice young man helping me. Noah found the battery I needed and gave me a price for the battery. I tried to pay with a check my check was denied so I had to pull all the cash I had out of my wallet but I was 22.20 short. I was in tears and Noah must have noticed so he talked to another gentleman, I'm sure it was the manager and asked him about a discount I could possibly receive and the manager quickly responded with yes. He rung me up but I was still short a few dollars. Noah went to his wallet and got the money I needed to pay for the battery. I was sooo THANKFUL and GRATEFUL all I could do was hold in my tears and tell Noah a hundred times THANK You. He was very kind and said "don't worry about the money be safe and have a nice day". Every person in the world needs to have a NOAH G around in a time of distress. Thank you Auto Zone for having such a wonderful young man to represent your company values. So I go into this store because my car needs a special wrench for my oil filter they didn't have it at the auto zone I usually go to so I go into this store because I was told they had it and the employee Maria tries to sell me just a wrench and I told her that wasn't it because I had already bought that one, so then she brings me an oil filter cap when I told her I needed a wrench to remove my oil filter and Then she has the audacity to tell me "the wrenches are on ile and she told me the ile number and said you can go look for it yourself"I just ended up going to a different autozone and they helped me with no problem read more
