Today I sent my stepdad to get me a new car battery and I called in ahead to make sure I had enough in my card. 15 minutes later I get a call saying that I only had 93$ in my account while I knew I had 4 times that amount. I look at my bank account and it says they took the money. My stepdad put me on speaker to talk to the salesman and he very quickly was telling me rudely to hold on. And as a service worker myself I was frustrated. He told me that he didn't take the money and there was nothing he could do. I asked him if he had already had my stepdad tap my card and he said yes but because the receipt didn't print he canceled the transaction. I know that receipts printers at time turn of and so many other things so I knowing this told him that it still doesn't mean he didn't take my money. And he had him tap my card once more then charged me twice but when he canceled that transaction I got the money right away. Rude service from that gentleman. And never again trusting them with my card. read more

Today, I went into AutoZone with my friend to replace my car battery, but I unfortunately have zero experience regarding cars or how to repair them. Issac helped direct us to the right parts for the replacement, and me and my friend went outside to replace the battery. We did not know what to do, however, and ended up accidentally breaking a lot of the pieces. Me and my friend were very stressed, but then Issac came outside to help us, and ended up doing the whole repair and replacement, guiding us through each of the steps for future reference. He was out in the hot sun with us for a long time, and was extremely friendly and patient during the entire process. Truly the best customer service I have received in a long time. Without Issac, we would have probably genuinely injured ourselves from our lack of car knowledge, and it would have taken us hours to finish the job. We are super thankful for all of Issac's help and his patience during this entire process. We will definitely be returning to this location! read more

I went to the store in Highland on Baseline and Palm. I saw this young guy stocking the shelves and asked if he wasnt too busy to help me find windshield wipers. He helped me find, purchase, and place them on my car. I had told him I was going to go to my mechanic to do it. I didn't want to take up anymore of his time but he offered to help me. When he had a hard time taking my old ones off I said I'd go back to my mechanic but he brought someone else to help me. They both did a great job and had superb attitudes. My faith in humanity is rising slowly, I really appreciated what they did for me today. I usu try to get the clerks names but this time I didn't. They went above and beyond. This is a place a frequent pretty often, so I should probably write a review for it. I have several cars that I work on so this place is great for last minute part runs. I wouldn't buy any core components here, mind you. But fuses, blinkers and fluids are A-OK. The staff is 50/50 as to whether they know what they are talking about or not. There are a few old guys in there who are very certain they know more then you, but sadly don't. One time I needed to borrow a bearing puller and they guy questioned me left and right as to why I needed it. I suppose you could confuse that with customer service if it were for the condescending attitude. "Just do your job old man and give me the g'damn tool I need!" sigh But for the most part they are pretty good. Service is slow though. There's never anyone at the register and there's always a long line at the counter. I prefer going to Kragen in Redlands because I don't have to deal with bottoming out on the steep driveways. You can dump your oil here and I've only had one time when it was full. read more

I went to return UNOPENED, UNUSED tire chains + tire bungees WITH the receipt + the manager said NO... they're final sale! Bought a battery there 3 weeks ago and it never held a charge, took it back they charged it and once again didn't hold a charge. Had to take it to a mechanic to see if something else was wrong and they said it was a bad battery so I had to buy a new battery from them so my wife could drive the car. This morning I took the battery back again with a diagnostic report saying the battery was bad and I wanted a refund, they told me they could swap out, I told them I had to buy a new battery and just wanted a refund and they told me that even if the battery is bad, and was installed they would not refund my money. WTF.....how would you know a battery is bad if it's not installed. So I paid $255.00 for a dead battery and no refund, this is a joke, their policy on this is just thievery at its worst. read more

Excellent service quick and efficient thanks to Rodrigo and Carmen (maybe her name was Caren?) , I needed to buy a new car battery I already knew which one and luckily they offer an installment service payed a couple bucks for it but they hooked up the new battery and took the old one. I had such a great experience at this store. I came in today around noon and was treated as soon as I came in the door. There was two people ahead of me and I waited no longer then 5 mins in the line. I was helped by David garcilazo and he had such great customer service. He listened to my needs and helped me inspect my battery and once we found out the issue he gave me the best option that fit my budget. Horrible customer service I was left on hold twice both times over 8 minutes. I only asked to see if they had an oil filter in stock for 2016 Jeep Renegade and she asked for sub model which I did not know I told her a base model and that's when the left me on hold. When I called back I got the same girl she was rude and said she could not look it up with out the sub model and I told check anyone they should all be the same and I only wanted to see if the stocked them. I have come to this store for many years and the customer service has always been decent. I was sold the wrong auxillary battery back in November. When I installed the battery, the complete electrical system went out including fuse boxes to the tune of $3200 taking my vehicle to the dealership to get fixed. When I filed a complaint, I received absolutely the worst customer care that I have ever experienced in my life. It has now been 5 months and last week someone finally had the guts to tell me my claim was denied. Gave me no reason. They sold me the wrong battery and should reimburse for their error, but Autozone did not. I would not trust this store and always double check that you are sold the right part. Again, Autozone's customer service was the worst I have ever experienced. Multiple, multiple phone calls. Promises to be called the next day and weeks later, no call backs. Called district service manager and he sounded like a used car salesman. Do not use this store. In fact, I wouldn't trust Autozone for any care. read more

I went to buy a battery because mine was dead and this is the location I bought my last battery at 2 years ago to my surprise the manager said absolutely would not help me put the new battery in!! I would like to thank Juan from the highland Autozone. I came there confused about my scion Tc headlight. I arrived trying to take out the bulb for my left headlight. I wanted to take it out and show it to autozone to make sure I get the right one. I ended up going in and explaining the bulb I wanted. He found it on his computer and offer to look at my car and grab it. As he did he explained how to take it out and I bought a new bulb. He also helped me by putting it on for me. Battery issue with my vehicle brought me here. First piece of bad news, they broke the only mobile battery tester. Hmmmmm, this is a automotive shop. Hard to believe that Auto Zone (multi million dollar corporation) can't replace an essential piece of equipment. So I begin to wrench in the parking lot because the only working battery tester is not mobile. The next piece of news is good, pro rated discount $60! Yes, things are looking good. Next piece of news is not good. My battery is out of stock . I'm thinking, why do I come here? Convenience is the answer, it's close to home. My next piece of news is the greatest.
