Don't ever go here. People who work there are not helpful at all. They expect items to be not opened when returned. How the hell am I supposed to know if it works if I don't take it out the package. The person said yes they did but they did not install them after dark. I said OK and that I would be back tomorrow. If I could give this autozone zero stars I would. The sales associates are about 50/50 some are are great attentive and easy to deal with, the others should not work in customer service. I bought brake pads in June and the sales team forgot to call me. No big deal. I returned to the store in November and addressed the problem. Instead of taking fault, they act like I'm trying to scam them. I proceed to show them my credit card statement and instead of inquiring, the manager asks me to leave the store. She refused to give me upper managements information, to which a sales associate easily showed me. The place is a joke and they are the scammers. I will not return to this store. As a side note, the upper management information did not work and I had to file my complaint through the corporate website. If you're having problems at this location, god bless you cause you'll need it. read more

this is a good store. they double check parts to make sure you have the correct part for your car. the reward system is good. they usually have what you need in stock. the staff is fairly knowledgeable...they have charged batteries and tested them...bench tested parts...and helped solve parts problems for a pontiac. read more

I called Auto zone and they said they will on most cars if the install is a swap for old one and its not to difficult. I started my journey at the new autozone on McHenry. Well they gave me the wrong part 2 times in two days, after that I went to Prescott autozone, they ordered the part...it shipped from their McHenry store, yup! You guessed it! It was the "same wrong part"...again, so that burned up another 2-3 days to wait for that part. Prescott autozone special ordered the part..took another two days. What do you know it's the "same wrong part"...AGAIN! The clerk helping me looked into the problem they were having and it turns out the part number to the part I needed was wrong. He couldn't find the part I been trying to get however their system said it was in stock. No problem I called corporate and they direct me to their regional manager I believe his name was "Eric" or "Aaron". I tell him the problem I'm having with autozone and he proceeds to apologize and tell me there's pretty much nothing he can do and that's it. He doesn't even offer to compensate me for the week of burned up time trying to get the part from autozone and when I explained that I should be entitled to some type of discount or gift card he offers me 10% off of my next purchase. Not even close to satisfied with this very poor attempt to resolve a customer issue. Sad excuse for customer service. This is the very last time I try to save a couple bucks by going to autozone. Not even worth the amount of stress and wasted time. From now on I'm going straight to the dealership. read more

I bought a fuse for $21 dollars and it wasn't what I needed so I came back to return it 30 minutes later and they told me. They couldn't return it. I had it for less than an hour what could I have done to the thing??? It's ridiculous I came here a year before and bought something and it didn't Work in NY car and they let me return it broken so what is the difference now??? Except that this one isn't broken??? Usually have great service however went in to test a battery. I dropped for an hour and came back to find that it was "no good". They wanted to charge me $85 because the warranty was up. I wasn't going to pay at the time so left with the battery. For shits and giggles I borrowed an charger a week later and tossed on for about 8 hours before I unplugged. Tossed it in the car 12 hours later and it was solid. I feel that the staff is untrustworthy for testing items and wanted to make a quick buck and not there to help like they should. read more

This is for the excellent customer service I teceivef from a very patient and helpful young b man by name of Jose. I bought new battery from AZ in November of 2017 it had full teplacement waRranty up until this November and after 2 days of no car tryying to geT it diagnosed I find out justt thE batTery I call the location I pp rurchaded baattery originally on Oakdale Road they claimed they would not be sblevto test battery tHerefore it was not going to be good going there so said go to Prescott store. I found receipt called first explained the situation and that I had mechanic run diagnostic test which had confirmed the battery as only issue, so asked to see if they had the same battery in stock and after testing could they swap it out for me. The young mAn checked an said sure let's check it out come on down! I arrivEd he was there in a minutE to greet me tester machine in hand. The test was reading on firstt test it was alternator I was quick to show I was gonna get this battery and the ugly side started to tell him I kkbew they were gonna do this and that aardvark I was acting stupid but he continued to remain pOlite calm and perfect gentleman giving me a smile as I did not stop the little routine I was in middle of and was enough to mske me breathe and return back to my usual friendly lady self. Then tester was read and he reporTed it I is the battery and we can give you the new one once I gave him the warranty receipt. I then mentioned the swap install wE discussed on phone jYst prior to coming there and he saiid I know I agreed to but as I headed out to test she meaning manager said no more tests or outside matters I can't be in thE store this late alone w customers are in here. I said ok well let me go deal with her this is your better I did not ask to have this die 3 1/2 yeaRs befoRe it was suppose to. She was not very willing to give but I stop o I can Wait this till no one is heRe and not d for rm with sorry this is not mmy idea of fun eeither but your store sold me battery that should last five years soo here we are I need to get to work in morning at six he will be fine t staY in while you need him I can be right out front. Lady at this store just lost her sh*t on me. She was kind enough to install my headlight a while back because my car is not as easy to install them as most. I was very thankful and appreciative she seemed nice but not this time. I walk in and wave hello and she rips my head off saying "she's not doing any headlights" and "to do it myself this time" very rudely. First off, I hadn't even asked you yet to do it.
