An employee named Rusty (Russ) went across the street to the gas station where my car died, diagnosed the problem, and tried jump starting it. Placed an online order for pick up two days ago, and never got the "ready for pickup" email. It's 4 cans of tire dressing. Not complex. Anyways, I went there this morning after no updates to see if I'd get lucky, and they'd be ready. It was a pipe dream. Zero customers in line, no one waiting for help, and no orders ready for pick up. Fortunately the person I spoke to, jumped to get the order ready. Not terrible. Stop sending kids to do an adults job. I went in b4 it expired cuz. I had been having a problem with my battery. The young kid who helped me said my battery was still good. So explain to me if it's still good why I have to jump start it with a battery pack bcuz it doesn't hold its charge after leaving my car on for only a few minutes without the motor running. Now here we are in February and my warranty on the fkn battery is expired, cuz it expired January 25th just after I tried to get a new battery under my warranty. . Imagine the fkn level of animosity I have right now towards that dumb kid that checked my battery and didnt know wtf he was doing. My Jeep battery died, and after getting a jump start, I called Auto Zone to see if they had my battery in stock, and they did. I asked where in town I could get it installed. The Auto Zone employee said Jiffy Lube next door might do it. She offered to walk next door to see. She called me back and said they'd do it. So I drove down there, bought the battery and an employee carried it over to Jiffy Lube for me. They installed it, and I was on my way. It couldn't have worked out better! I highly recommend. Visited 8/19/2020 On my way home from Doctor Appointments this evening my battery went dead. Living another 50 min drive from home I stopped to get another new battery. I bought the one I'm replacing at this store 3 years ago and thought it was out of warranty. I had saved the receipt and handed it to the sales rep. To my surprise he said I still had 2 1/2 months left on the warranty. Wow just Wow. A 100% Free Replacement battery and they installed it too all for free. Tried to purchase two items, paid for them and while at the counter realized I was overcharged. Instead of simply correcting the overcharge it lead to 30 minutes of trying to apply the correct price, which didn't work. All the while the employees answered phone calls, began helping other customers. At this point I just said cancel the order, items were still on the counter because I never took possession or given a receipt. After numerous attempts I was told that they were unable to give a refund because they couldn't process it on the computer. Of course it took 1 second to charge my card for the overcharge. One employee tried handling it though their corporate call center, which never happened. All in all I've been here almost an hour and I will not be able to get done the work I needed to do. I like this place. The guys are usually friendly, they're usually pretty helpful, and the prices are really good. I think this is my favorite auto parts store in town. But each one has their own specialty. AutoZone just seems to be the best of all of them for general automotive needs. read more

Absolutely do not waste your time here. The idiots who work here don't know anything about cars and their entire knowledge base is YouTube and google. They really like to argue with customers. Specifically anyone who actually knows how to work on cars. I honestly think corporate needs to investigate this location. It's always ridiculously slow and I've never been in there where it wasn't lines of people waiting and people just sitting on there butt in the back hiding not actually helping customers. No reason to be backed up when you have 4-5 employees in the store. read more

I went into RAMONA AUTOZONE to purchase multiple necessities for my car. When I left, an employee left DURING his shift, to come and verbally assault my son and I. On personal issues, he has NOTHING to do with. Its unfortunate that autozone doesnt care about customer experience. My last three visits here were all the same. Two people that I could see working there. This place is incredibly understaffed and SLOW!!! Usually there is one employee out in the parking lot either testing batteries or installing one. The other employee inside the store has a line of 3 people waiting to check out and the phone is ringing off the hook. I am not exaggerating. After standing around for 5 minutes or so I just leave the gas cleaner I came in for near the counter and leave. Lost sale! read more

This AutoZone is great. I had a problem with my battery, jumped it enough to get to the store where it promptly died again. Joe M very calmly came out to help me jump it again and determine whether I needed a new battery. He was SO patient and kept me calm. Trying to charge my existing battery drained the portable unit so he suggested changing out the battery just to make sure the alternator wasn't the problem. He informed me how much a new battery would cost but said just for checking purposes, he would install the new battery without my having to pay for it first. He deftly installed the new battery and checked and it wasn't the alternator. So I paid for the battery and went on my way and thanked him up and down for his help. Joe was so friendly and knowledgeable and helpful and I am truly grateful. For my auto care needs, I will definitely be returning to this AutoZone. Thank you. read more

Good store, good inventory and I like this place because thy give back to the community. .....they help out with car wash fundraising for all the youth organizations in town and they donate materials. I went to a different auto parts store in town where they basically treated me like I was an annoying fly. I bought the part there because it was late at night and I was tired and didn't feel like driving anywhere else. The next morning I drove back to the other store and asked if they could help me install the light ...they said no. I drove across the street to the AutoZone and asked them if they could help me put it in my car. They said absolutely...walked outside and a very friendly counter person put it in for me. Then I told him I had been to 4 stores and nobody would give me quarters so I could do my laundry on a Sunday . The manager left her station went to the back and got quarters for me. Needless to say I will never step foot in the other auto parts store in Ramona because of the customer service from the AutoZone . Thanks for making my annoying Sunday better. read more
