A new player in this market who sells a wide variety of auto parts, supplies and tools. The…read moreO'Reilly staff that I have dealt with are above average in the areas of product knowledge, courtesy and follow-up. Do to a shrinking marketplace and online competition, many auto parts stores have started to play the shell game with prices. You might save a lot of money if you can wait a few days by ordering parts on Amazon or RockAuto. They carry both low grade and top of the line parts, so don't be afraid to ask about your options so you can choose what is best for your situation. It's wise to shop around local competitors like NAPA, Auto Plus, Autozone, Advanced Auto, West Springfield Auto Parts and others.

I would not patronize this store. They do not care about helping out customers with vehicle…read moreproblems. My vehicle had a transmission problem so I drove it there on a Monday afternoon to purchase some transmission fluid and unfortunately the linkage to my transmission broke while parking in their lot. I could not drive it at all. I called my mechanic who shopped at that location often and he said he would come by that week to tow my vehicle to his shop. I went inside the store and told them about my situation and they said it would be fine to leave my vehicle where it was until my mechanic came to get it. On Wednesday morning the manager from the store called their towing company and had my truck towed away. When I called to ask why they towed my vehicle after telling me it was ok to leave it till my mechanic came, the manager Scott lied to me and said that they did not call to have me towed. When I went to pay the $350 to get my vehicle out of the tow yard they showed me the form their towing company uses for "trespass tows" and it had Scott's name and the Wednesday manager's names listed as the people who called to have my vehicle towed. These are nasty dishonest people. I would not trust them. I recommend that you take your business elsewhere.

You know, I read the reviews below and they're quite comical. One guy leaves a vague generic review…read morethe same day another one leaves one for his Dodge product not working correctly. And a last complains that USPS didn't deliver in 2 days. Sounds like a case of mouth breathers to me. I've been buying sets from these guys for almost 10 years, ever since I found them on ClubRSX. Here's a breakdown of how my experience has gone, as well as proof. I ran a set of 55w H1 6k's on my RSX FOR 2 years, no issues. 55w 9007's on my 02 Impreza wagon, again no issues. The only issue I did encounter was that the wiring didn't work when I plugged it in, HOWEVER the owner went as far as to help me figure out why and it turned out it was the way Subaru's are wired. All I had to do was swap around 2 wires on the blue plug and it worked like a charm. Had these for about a year. Ran a 55w D2S kit on my S2000. Never had a single problem, and the upgrade over the standard and old 35w bulbs was absolutely incredible. Highly recommended! Ran a same kit as above on my 04 TL, as well as a 55w H11 3000k kit in my fogs. 35w 9004 kit on my '92 LS400, and this one did give me an issue. I ended up having a ballast fail, however after following the troubleshooting procedure they instructed me to do to verify it was in fact the ballast, they replaced it under warranty without hesitation. There are no gimmicks, there is no run around. Sometimes they do get busy, but I've never actually waited more than a business day for a reply and that's typically uncommon. My 2008 sti had 35w d2s 6000k bulbs, and 55w 3000k h10 I believe. Again, no failures. Currently have 35w d2s and a 55w 3000k h11 on my TL-S. I recently had 1 bulb fail, but that was my fault. One of my friends is going on year 7 on his H13 bi-xenon 55w kit on his 3000gt. No problems. I've gone through maybe 3 or 4 35w D2S bulb sets on various cars I've owned. The longest I've had a set was 3 years in my Mini Cooper for 65,000 miles, and are still going strong. No discoloration unlike the stock faded ones. Between my personal cars over the last 10 years, and all my friends/family that I've referred to Retro-Solutions there must be 40-50 kits sold and of those less than 5 total component problems. Anytime there was, the company never hesitated to honor their warranty. Take the other reviews with a grain of salt, more than likely I wouldn't be surprised if it's their competitors trying to smear their name.

I took steps to remedy the issue new resistors a capacitor. None of that fixed the issues.. now not only am i out 120 dollars have two bad ballast a broken bulb, and one bulb I'm scared to even hook up to my new kit based on the history with the garbage i purchased. This gentlemen surely needed to take time to research new vehicles resistors don't fix everything. I may not be a pro at this stuff but i have absorbed all knowledge i can find on this stuff and have knowledge enough to never purchase from shady places like this anymore. The moment i asked for my money back after spending 2 weeks talking to this guy he closes up shop.. so I'm really screwed on getting my money back. I bought the parts because i solely needed them and had to do a few brake jobs just to pay for Christmas because i couldn't afford to even order this garbage to begin with. I'd honestly sue this guy for my money back if it wouldn't cost more than the parts themselves.

My car battery died today, so my husband ordered a new one from your establishment. We were told…read morethat if we brought the old battery in, we'd receive $5 off the new one. I arrived and they were not busy. I was second in line. According to my receipt, "Marie" waited on me. She asked me what I needed and I gave her the information. She handed me a receipt and walked me over to where the battery was sitting on the counter. I told her I had the old one in my car, which was about ten feet from where I was standing. Her response? "Oh... Yeah. You get five dollars off the new one." And then she continue to tell me.... "the transaction is already completed. You'll have to come back tomorrow." And with that, she abruptly turned her back to go back to her register. SERIOUSLY? This is customer service? Come back tomorrow? I had no words. I was in awe of her lack of professionalism, and her curt comment. I just turned and walked my 40 pound battery out the door. We will not be going back to Advance Auto Parts in the future. Thanks for nothing. Kim

When we got home discovered that they gave us the wrong bulb and wrong windshield wiper. Had to drive all the way back and they would not take back the bulb that THEY had told us would fit so had to buy a second bulb. They said they had lost too much $ in bulbs. Maybe if they selected the right ones they would be more profitable!! Won't be back!
