I needed an extension 8mm to remove the old battery compartment. I go to this auto zone since it is the closest one but recently I'd rather make a drive and head to the one on broadway because it's way better. The lines are always long and there's usually only two people in the front while the rest are just standing. I came in to buy some tire cleaner and seen it was on special so I got it. I payed and then saw my receipt then realized I didn't get the sale price. I went back to where I got the item and it was on sale. So I asked an employee forgot his name but he was wearing a gray shirt. He went to where I got the item and said, "oh I see now. The sale ended May 2". If the sale ended May 2nd why didn't they take the sticker off. It was already the 12th when I went. 10 days later and they haven't updated what is and isn't on sale. If they left that sticker on it saying it was on sale I can imagine how many other items are "on sale" but people get charged full price. He then asked if I wanted the sale price so I can get the extra money. Is that even a question though. Of course I want the sale price. I went in yesterday and a male employee yelled at a female coworker about taking his break. Super unprofessional. You're better off going to the one on broadway or the O Riley's nearby. read more

Worst service ever, we had to reorder the part I needed twice for my car because the first time we order this blonde chick was drunk then we ordered it again with this manager and she said "the system had glitch so order was not done, we'll give you a call when the part is here." I've been to three in this area and it seems that there is never anyone that's even slightly competent... there were at least 8 people on staff this morning with a total of 5 registers and only ONE person doing customer service. This has got to be the WORST customer experience I have ever had, not to mention the worst Autozone!!! Good luck trying to get any help or any useful knowledge at this location. Not only are the employees ignorant, on top of that they are rude and lazy. I went to get my battery replaced that is covered by warranty and the first location didn't carry it so they called this location to have them pull the battery ahead of time. Upon arrival the cashier had no knowledge of anything to do with a battery or the processing, so then the manager came and he was even more useless and rude. I was then told figure out how to get the battery out, and handed a tool. After that, I take the battery back inside and was being asked a bunch of irrelevant questions and accused of stealing the new battery that had already gotten processed and was covered by warranty. This was the most ridiculous experience I have ever had at any store, ever. I highly recommend avoiding this location, no need to waste your time and spare yourself from the horrible customer service. read more

Kevin and Duane seemed to be the managers on duty. Was waiting in the checkout line with noone ahead for about 5 minutes before Kevin walks by. I ask if there's a cashier and he's says I need to get in line. I thought I was and there was no signage or direction by anyone that I wasn't in line. Very disorganized, management seemed to not have things in control or be very efficient at all. Kevin also decided it was a good day to go maskless. Most of the employees that help me here are nice but today I got unlucky with someone at the register. I needed one more quart of my oil and I didn't see any on the shelf so I asked him if they possibly have one in the back. He goes to check and brings me the incorrect one lol. So I told him that I didn't want that one and I'll just purchase the 5quart one I already had with me. He kept trying to tell me it was the right one but I clearly know which oil I need and I told him thanks but I'm not gonna take that one but I appreciate him going to the back to check. Then he complains about how I made him go look for it in the back. I didn't respond to avoid confrontation. But how are you gonna complain about doing your job and helping someone?? And then get mad I don't want it because it's the incorrect oil???? Anyway, as I'm leaving he proceed to try and go check the stock they had out and I told him "it's okay you don't have to do that I already looked, thank you!" And as I walked away from him he says something under his breath. Super unprofessional and I won't be coming to this location anymore solely because of this interaction. The staff here are the bomb! On the way back from Tahoe I discovered that our car battery was going bad. We were afraid that the car would not restart if we filled up gas at a station. Came to this store, and one of the guys here hooked me up with the right new battery, credited some money for the old one, let me borrow some tools and a flashlight to work in the parking lot....and I was all set within 45 minutes.....and this is all near the time they were closing. Absolutely awful. I always go to o' Reilly's. But today they didn't have the part I needed for my window. I was told by mechanic to get this part I needed plug it in and if it didn't work then to get this other part. The motor was fine I ended up needing the master switch. I didn't know once you plugged it in they can't return it. My whole door was open and it was a simple plug and unplug. Literally. Less than a minute. Then this Asian guy with a left ear piercing was a bit snotty about the return. I don't work with cars and just needed to get the part I need. Customer service was awful and the area was a little questionable. Right off franklin and fruit ridge. I will never take my business there or autozone in general again. Now I'm out an extra $80 dollars today. On top of my repair expenses. :( read more

This place is my Waterloo. I swear I'll never come back and yet somehow I need something and nobody else is open and I can't wait until the morning so I talk myself into going only to end up pissed off and still without what I needed. Tonight was no different. Needed some corner marker bulbs for a motorcycle I'm working on. Run up to this place thinking this should be easy how could it go wrong? I was wrong, definitely wrong. First I show up and can't find the correct bulb and several selections were empty (do you restock ever?) and as I'm looking through the selections for a match to the old one in my hand some rent a cop with a gun on his hip is looking me over like I'm going for the 5 finger discount or something. It's fine I get the place isn't in the best neighborhood and it's 10:30 at night but seriously it's the light bulb section. The expensive bulbs don't even get put on hooks it's just a card with a picture of the bulb. Relax bud. I finally find the bulb that matches and I head to the line. Not the hey I need a part line but the paying line. This method of doing business is ridiculous. I'd like to find the idiot at corporate that thought was a great idea. WTF I'm standing in the line which is 4 deep ahead of me while the guy paying can't figure out what he wants or what he's doing and the kid behind the counter is trying to figure it out. There was another employee putting parts away behind the counter with a cart and two people answering phones with the "no we close at 11" response. Hello we are all paying customers that have our shit figured out take our money so we can get the hell out of this place! It's crazy. It's 10:30 at night and they want to answer the phones more than they want to take money from people waiting in line. I can't believe this store runs this way. I put the bulbs back and decided that I can wait until the morning and another parts store can have my business, one that doesn't use 2 lines and serves customers who are actually in the store first. Shitty experience. They double charged my card and refused to refund me any money for the second charged. Bought a new ignition for 139 with taxes. First attempt their card reader said transaction error and we swiped the card again this transaction was recognized by the reader As approved. I then looked at my bank app and it showed two charges as 139. I was told by the manager if I want a refund to return the merchandise. Robbed me of 139 read more

I had the worse experience at this store. I have been going to Autozone for years and I worked at Autozone in the past and never was treated so bad. Avoid the Parts Sales Manager Gustavo. He is very rude and doesn't care about damaging my vehicle. I was already assisted from Mike and he lent out the tools to me and my fiancé, well upon waiting in line after taking the old battery off Gustavo assisted us. I wish Mike had still been available because I would have continued getting assistance from him. We took our battery off and had every intention on putting the battery back on. Gustavo assisted on putting it on because he was worried about a $10 tool pack. He slammed the new battery on my wire harness pack. Almost damaged it and I'm lucky he didn't. Gustavo was really rude. Gustavo commented, " see this is why we don't help customers because of this right here." He deliberately slammed the battery down. I said, " can't that damage my car putting the battery down like that. He had no right to do that. I didn't need his help, he wouldn't have it any other way. I couldn't use his tools of not. I bought my own tool pack at oriley auto parts. I will not ask autozone to use tools again and I will not be making anymore purchases at Autozone. They lost my buisness. Gustavo needs an attitude check. Just because he is helping someone doesn't mean he needs to slam things down on someones car.
