The two younger that work here spent more time talking to in the middle of the store than addressing customer needs. I got so tired of waiting in line behind five people. I decided that I would go ahead and use the self . Then to top it off, there are no trash cans outside the and they offered no trash services to customers who have purchased product in the store. I was immediately greeted by both staff and immediate assisted. I came in to have my battery tested and potentially charged or warranty replaced because it is just over a year old. West, the associate that assisted me promptly grabbed the tester and tools and got right to it. He was so prepared for the possibility of assisting me if necessary in changing the battery that he checked it out to be sure it was a task he could help with. Because oof his initiative, he noticed my battery holder was lose and missing one of the screws! I am so grateful for this because it was an easy and inexpensive fix and I would not have realized iit myself. I love willingness and desire to assist customers it causes a pleasant experience. he tested my battery, starter and alternator and all were good. Case in point...I am searching for a bolt on Google. Find the bolt "in stock" at local Auto Zone only to further find out "sorry could not find the part" This has happened literally every time I have searched the web. It does not happen with other auto parts stores...they have the part It's a complete waste of time and an insult to the consumer. I'm sad I have to leave this review because I've been at this location a few times and had no issues. Two days ago my battery gave up on me and due to work, I didn't have time to come in until the very day it stopped. My dad has a jumper so he told me he'd jump my car so I could go to autozone to change it. Once we got the car jumped, I realized I didn't know if they had the battery I need or if they'd even be able to change it for me as this would've been my first time and I didn't want to mess anything up myself. I called this location and the man that answered probably wasn't having a good start to his morning because this phone call ended up with me just hanging up on him. I asked if they could change it for me and he said "I don't know it depends what car you have," I then asked him if he could see if they could change a battery for a 2013 Ford Edge. He basically said he wouldn't know. I asked again, and then was about to tell him why I was so adamant in knowing before going there(I didn't want to go there and risk my car not turning on if they couldn't install it for me, and being stranded.) Literally, as I was speaking he just goes "NO." At this point I didn't want to even continue this conversation so I just went "ok have a good rest of your day," and just hung up before he could say anything. I then called another location and guess what? Not only did they check with their manager, but they also answered my questions on the phone before going there. They couldn't install it for me so I'm glad I was able to find out on the phone and brought my dad with me when he was free to do so. They ended up getting that sale, not this location. I'm leaving this review to just let whoever that man on the phone was, that your store had a sale coming from me regardless. I just needed to know some info before going. The customer service on the phone, made me not want to give you guys my business. I also work customer service myself and have never given any client the short end of the stick just because I either didn't want to do something or had a bad day. It's just not good business. On a good note there is an order gentleman that works there that I only have good things to say about and gave amazing customer service as well, just this experience wasn't good. read more

So, I was excited to get to work on my vintage car today. Auto Zone had exactly the battery I needed and offered delivery for an extra $15,58. Delivery would be by 12:44. As I am typing this, it is 5:20 When I called the store I was told it wasn't their problem. It was to be picked up by Uber or Door Dash. There was nothing they could/would do. Call customer service at 1 800 288 6966. I called and was told there was a 9 minute wait. 15 minutes later I hung up and called back. This time it would be a 7 minute wait, 20 minutes later I was still hearing there awful wait noise. On my first visit, few months ago , I bought an AC recharge kit paying $10 dollars on top of the price for the deposit on the metallic can. They said to bring it back, on my next vist, to claim the $10 back. Few days ago I came back for a headlight bulb and they said that I had only 3 months to claim the deposit. Cleanliness. This review is not about service or staff, it is strictly about the squalor and disrepair of the store. As a fore note, I am absolutely not a total clean freak or a nut, but the utter filth of this store was shocking enough to get me to write a review. May the right person see this and take a power washer to the front, and hire an ongoing cleaning crew to take care of the basics enough to make the store presentable, approachable and possibly, even inviting. I was not expecting the experience I had when running in to this AutoZone to grab a set of jumper cables.... Upon approaching the entrance, it felt as though the building had been abandoned. I noticed the patio tiles were filthy, coated in years of dirt and grime. Dead leaves, debris and trash littered the front. I reached to open the front door and quickly pulled my hand away from the handle which was equally coated in years of grime. The glass of the door and the frame surrounding the handles were filthy, appearing to have never been cleaned. I was hoping the interior would feel like a store was cared for, but it was the same as the exterior... I wondered if it had EVER been cleaned. I wanted to leave immediately, quickly grabbed what I went in for and went to the self checkout monitor, which, I kid you not, had a tick layer of dust on the screen disturbed only by tapping fingers. This is hands down, the filthiest place of business I have ever encountered. What happened to the notion of upkeep? Is it cost? Get a broom, a duster, a mop, some window cleaner, and a power washer for the front. Please care for the store and make it feel like a place of business worthy of its customers. read more

Love this store. They've always got whatever I need, either in stock or available fast online. I had to replace a far too old battery today and swung by. Carter double-checked the one I'd picked out and got Wes to help me with the install. I normally do this stuff myself and had prepared to, but these guys know their stuff and the install went faster than if I had done it alone, plus Wes gave me some really good tips for battery install and maintenance. They're never condescending and they don't try to upsell you- you just get expert help from people who do this stuff every day. Autozone is the only place I'll go for parts. I was having a hard time putting a metal fastener onto a part I had bought because I failed a smog test. Maybe I just came at a bad time. I needed coolant for my Toyota and finally found someone to help me. He literally didn't know what coolant was. He asked someone else where it was and handed me a gallon. There was only one person at the registers and they had been helping the same person for about 10 minutes, so the line had backed up. After another 10 minutes, another register opened (the same guy was still being helped) and the lines finally began to move. Finally I paid and went outside. Just before I opened the coolant, I saw that it was only for GM cars. I went back in, found the appropriate coolant for my car and got in line again to return the wrong coolant and pay for the correct one. Ugh. read more
