Guys being a rude, & giving me the run around saying  I took everything a part when all I did was change the High Pressure fuel Pump, Injectors, Spark Plugs, Coil Packs to fix a Misfire I had from Day 1 of the Engine starting. My Cars my Baby, & she's down once again. He's trying to blame it on me, when all I did was drive it to work everyday. It spent a week in a Lexus Dealership trying to diagnose the Misfire & no one seemed to find the Problem. The Exhaust would throw a puff of white smoke slowing to a stop at Red Lights & Stop signs. It would be nice if he could just help me out and just swap the Engine for another. I paid a shop $2,000 for the install because I gad no time to do it. I paid $1,450 for his Engine. I even offered to pay half for another engine, & he said he'd get back to me. It left me on the side of the road on my way to work for a night shift, & had to get it towed home.

I grew up shopping at AutoZone and O'Reilly's, and there wasn't a Pep Boys in my hometown. These days, I'm team Advance Auto Parts all the way! But Pep Boys is now officially on my radar. I was actually on my way to the Elite event at Cacao & Cardamom when my TPMS light came on. I thought it was strange, so I stopped and got out to investigate. What do I spy but this HUGE screw stuck in my tire and bent at an odd angle. NOOOO! I call my friend Eddie S, to have him let Farrah know that I won't make it (boooo!) and I remember that Pep Boys is literally a minute away from the gas station I've stopped at, so I slowly make my way there. I pull up, and ask one of the employees for some assistance. It's somewhat slow, so they're able to get my SUV in right away. One employee comes in a few minutes later to inform me that due to the nature of the tire damage--the screw went in head first, which widens the hole and makes repair very difficult--the tech recommends a new tire. I'm honestly pissed, because this tire is the NEW one I bought a few months ago. But they were able to pull the nail out and plug the damage for now, and I have a little more time before I have to purchase yet ANOTHER new tire. I was in and out within 20 minutes, and they were gracious enough to not even charge me for the tire plug! I was even able to make a late appearance at the Elite event after all, just in time for chocolate and a little bubbly. Wins all around!

If Advance doesn't have it, you don't need it! My old battery was 5+ years old and I didn't want to be stranded, so I did the preventative maintenance thing. Today, after price shopping for high-dollar auto batteries, Advance matched pricing saving $30 and I bought! Oscar Buenvida was Asst. Store Manager and offered to do a tedious battery install in 85+ degree weather. My Genesis G90 is a Unicorn of a car so he had never done of before, but consulted with Advance On-Line for clarification. He carefully put a power supply on the front positive/negative terminals so that I would not lose my settings and set about removing my old battery, replacing it with a new Die-Hard!
