I need to give these guys a review for all the help they have provided me over the past month. I needed to get my battery replaced, no biggie, knocked that out. That was just the start.. My radiator blew driving home last weekend....sucked. Looked online and saw the repair job could be anywhere between 500-900 dollars, I looked up some videos and decided to give it a shot. I'm not a mechanic and have only changed tires and my oil, not much else. Got the radiator from Auto Zone with some help from their associates. Asked a couple questions since I had little knowledge of auto mechanics. They took their time and answered all my questions which gave me extra confidence going into the job. Four hours later, radiator is taken out, fans attached, made a mess, and everything installed back in. Extremely excited I started it up, burped the thing and everything looked great! Not really... Drove to work the next day and it was overheating! WTF!! When I got to work, I popped the hood and saw some hoses were leaking, smoke was coming from somewhere I couldn't see but during my investigation there was some crude under one of the lower hoses which looked like it had been leaking A LONG time. (bought used. probably before I even owned it) Looked online again. Found that my model, Hyundai Elantra, have overheating problems and could be the thermostat. Went to auto zone, got the thermostat, gasket, lower and upper radiator hoses, bypass hose, antifreeze and new clamps. Now this is my 4th trip and were pretty much family now. They had all my parts except one but called another store for me and had them set it aside. Really friendly, helpful and honest workers. Spent under 375.00 on my parts, zero in labor and gained a lot of knowledge. Much appreciated read more

I've been here twice and both times received excellent customer service. I find most staff at auto parts stores are content to let me wander around like an idiot looking for what I need. Not this place! Each time I was greeted by staff who were eager to assist me find what I needed. This isn't the closest store to my house but it's worth the drive! read more

Jean saved my life!!! I walked into the Store to buy a new battery, as Jean was helping other customers he told me he would be right with me. It only took a few minutes for him to help the other customers install whatever it was they needed on their car. Jean then returned to greet me and help me with my purchase, he let me know about the mail in rebate that would help me save money with a gift card to the store. I asked him if he would be able to install the battery and he gladly obliged! It is a terribly hot day, and he offered a lot of helpful information and also good conversation! As everyone knows a dead car battery is a huge step back in time with obligations, having Jean there to help me with such a great positive attitude really changed my day around! I will recommend anybody to go and see him if ever needed, and I will be back to visit! Also, I offered a tip for helping and he would not accept it, so hopefully this will help! Autozone replaced my car battery with the wrong battery for my car. Once AAA showed up and let me know why my car wouldn't start, I called Autozone to let them know I would be back to have the battery replaced with the correct one. The manager was rude over the phone saying, "It's not our fault you didn't purchase a nicer battery". All I asked them for was a new battery for my car so that I could drive. I never requested a cheaper or smaller battery; it was just what they gave to me. I think they should be nicer to unsatisfied customers (especially ones who end up on the side of the road due to their incompetence) and train their employees to know what equipment is for each specific car model. I will never return to this location. read more

I only have one star because I had to. My battery died out Thursday night when I came out of work. Jumped it at home use it to run around a little bit it was OK ,but the next morning dead. I got it started drove around for a bit and went to the AutoZone here on Eastern Avenue when in left my car running because I was afraid to shut it off because that's when the problem happens. A man , I cannot remember his name ,older gentleman heavyset had some kind of manager title on his tag came out with an analyzer and hooked it up to my car while it was running. I had told him my battery was going dead he hooked up the analyzer and showed me some kind of codes and numbers that I had no understanding of and said I need a new alternator and voltage regulator. He then walked me to the store and proceeded to tell me that my Mazda was probably like a Chrysler and that it has to be a package that I can't buy parts by themselves. Of course he showed me how much I'm going to have to pay for all these items which was of course hundreds of dollars. I told him let me call my husband , I told my husband what he said, and of course my husband said put him on the phone. When that conversation was over, the guy went to my car to close the hood. Suffice it to say Car died a couple more times yesterday ,and I got it home finally we charged it up again and we did some testing on it by taking off the positive or the negative on the battery in my car never died so it was not the alternator. Third trip back to an AutoZone today ..my husband had to put it on his motorcycle and ride it over to the AutoZone and they finally gave me a new battery. (Old one was under warranty) . So I can say is ladies , beware if you go into here by yourself .because they will try to rip you off in a second. This whole story could've been avoided if that man would've just taken the battery and switch it out when I went there first thing in the morning on Friday. The only reason I would ever go back to AutoZone is when the battery dies and I have to get a new one under warranty. read more

Everyone in the place was buying windshield wipers so it seemed for monsoon season so maybe the employees were tired of looking for the right ones...I went to this store three times for the same item. The first trip I did buy a gas cap for a different car which was no problem. The windshield wiper I got which the book on the isle stated was correct for my vehicle was not the correct type. The next day I went before work to exchange and the employee was very helpful but he got busy with another customer so someone else helped me and got a different brand which the book stated was correct. I tried to put it on but ran out of time and could not get it. I went back after work that day and explained to them it did not work and I was told there were additional pieces that were missing from the package to change the clip. Another employee asks the manager about it and he helped me and put it on the car but the cost went from $11.99 to $16.99 to $24.99 when I asked about the price he gave me 10% off and at that point I was tired of messing with it so I paid and left. I have had better experiences at other Autozone locations. read more

I took my truck here after having a bad experience with Midas on Pecos and Windmill. I went in because my check engine light was on. They gave me honest advice which saved me over $300 dollars. Honesty and good customer service is extremely hard to find in a auto shop these days and I am very impressed with the guys who work here. read more

This location has the best customer service, I went in to get a light bulb for my trucks blinker, one of the staff members John, went out of his way came outside, and changed the bulb for me, I was so grateful for his help, they really take care of they customers. read more
