I would recommend this place if you are in a pinch, but for something like wiper blades they are a bit on the exxy side, $60 for 2 front ones here as I checked today. Amazon is like $23 for both driver and passenger side wipers. I thought I should get the more exxy water repellent Rain brand kind, but good ole YouTube taught me to just use an old sock, saturate with WD-40, and wipe off wipers regularly to take off the debris but also allow them to wipe as good as new without streaking. So eventually that's going to be my plan for the normal non-Rain brand ones that I will install from Amazon. (Could this be the end of places like AutoZone as we know it? It is still nice to have a physical store to see and touch the product, but if you can wait a little and do the labor yourself, save $$, like how one might try out a shoe at the store and buy online later if there is a big difference in price?) I would come here for some good advice (that's what they advertise on their physical sign: "parts, service, and advice") and complement that advice with youtube, get the parts at Costco or amazon and DIY to keep more money in my pocket. read more

I bought some jumper cables which were extremely pricey and found them cheaper at Harbor Freight the same week, when I went to return them the manager would not take them, even though I had my receipt and everything was in original packaging. I don't know who he is but he's a little fat and he's rude. You give the worst customer service. I enter for help on which windshield wipers to get for my car, you clearly tell me to get the 26 and the "1-18". So I go to the aisle, get the 26 and the...5 minute waste of time looking for a "1-18". I know I'm not crazy because my son ALSO heard you say "1-18". After I go to the desk, for help, you start treating me like a stupid or lazy person, then give me a discount like price is the problem here! You then start calling me buddy, and start talking me through the process of paying, what buttons to press and how to install the windshield wiper in a super sarcastic tone. I took it off fine, I think I can put on, thanks. To top it all off, he was on his phone the whole time. I don't care if the rest of the employees are the nicest people ever. We drove all The way there, and when we got there we asked them for the part they told us,"the part didn't come yet", are you serious you called us and told us to come. Service is super meh...employees are cold and seem pretty mean/gruff--is it supposed to make them seem more manly or something? Don't get me wrong--they'll do the job, like replacing a car battery, but I'm actually slightly intimidated when I talk to them because I feel like they'd snap at me for not knowing anything about cars. Aside from that, they do have almost whatever you need, and they offer great services. Their store is also very clean and organized, and it's very easy to find. Seriously not a car person at all and when my car battery died on me during the night AutoZone was really able to help me. I didn't even know that they will actually put the battery in for me!! I am soo glad that they were open and that they also did all the work. I just paid them got the autozone card and within a few minutes my car was able to start. I had a nightmare experience buying a battery and the staff was very rude and unwilling to give me back my battery core even though the battery they gave me was bad. I never took possession of the battery and they refused to give me my battery back and said the manager was off for a month so If I had an issue I should call Corporate and call in my complaint. I stop my the next morning and the Manager Jefferson was very helpful. Made a phone call, apologized and gave me back my old battery. He was awesome. I did not care for the staff in the evening. Thank you Paul for helping with my mom's car battery. We called in earlier today and Paul picked up the phone and answered all our questions in regards changing a new car battery. He offered to installed it for us. We were on our way as soon as we could. We ended up picking up a battery with a 5 year warranty. He tried to even test the battery to make sure it was bad and checked our alternator. Unfortunately, Paul could not get our battery out because our battery was so corroded. He recommended silver sea auto repair a few blocks away. We got the part changed and it cost us 15 bucks. Paul was super professional and friendly the entire time from first phone call to when I returned with the dead battery. Please remember that these guys are not mechanics and only sale auto parts. I came to this autozone to rent spring compressors because i was going to finally install the lowering springs i bought for my car. I came in at night, and there were 2 men behind the counter. I walked up to the guy behind it and asked him "i want to rent spring compressors". The first thing that comes out of that guy's mouth wasn't "Hi welcome to autozone" or "Sure I can help you with that". NOPE! his response to me was "shouldn't you be in the kitchen?" REALLY?!?! Is that how you treat female customers here??? I wanted to walk out of there but I wanted to lower my car that night. So i just took in all the negative comments and when i got the spring compressors i walked out of there. FYI if those guys ever read this review... I ain't just a girl renting spring compressors to lower my car. I'm a girl who is madly in love with cars, and studying to design cars in school. I think you guys should go back to school to learn some manners, and maybe some customer service skills. read more

I'm a long time patron of the Diamond Bar and Pomona North autozone stores because of their excellent service, but this Rosemead store is a shocker. 2005 Corolla CE. Battery is dead, needs a new battery. Tell the clerk the battery is dead. Clerk checks the computer. Two batteries available "red" for $79.99 "gold" for $89.99". He says if I buy the red battery he won't warranty it. If I hook it up and it won't start, the battery is mines because it's an electronic part and all these new cars have lot of power accessories. No returns. So I tell him, my car has manual everything. It doesn't even have power locks or windows. Still clerk is being a-hole about it. What's shocking is the manager then concurs with the clerk says. I'm thinking... both the manager and clerk are both a-holes. Trying to take advantage of people. "If you buy the gold battery I'll change it for you." says the clerk. Again he reiterates, if the car won't start, he's not responsible for it, so I should buy the gold battery. At this time, I'm looking at screen seeing what the amp rating is cause I will compare it to the factory battery in the car. I'm thinking, WTF? If it don't start? If it wasn't the correct battery its your computer system that is ffff'ed up. it said two batteries are available. How is that my fault? beside all the BS, I buy the cheap battery which provided 550 amps. which was already 50 more amps than the 500 amp factory battery in the car. These guys were a-holes.... they were trying up sell by threat and trying to take advantage thinking we didn't know anything about cars. So we bought the cheap battery and was installing in front of the store. Another customer walks in with a dead battery in hand... walked out 2 mins later, no sale. I asked the worker again if I could recycle my oil and he muttered something under his breath, gave me a dirty look then said OK. The man slammed my containers down on the counter as he returned my bottles. I gave him a 2nd set of bottles to empty into the container and I was flashed more dirty looks.
