I asked the worker again if I could recycle my oil and he muttered something under his breath, gave me a dirty look then said OK. The man slammed my containers down on the counter as he returned my bottles. I gave him a 2nd set of bottles to empty into the container and I was flashed more dirty looks. He returned and slammed the next box of bottles down even harder. He must love working at Autozone. read more

Been driving around with one headlight and a flapping windshield wiper, came here not knowing what kind of headlamp I needed or wiper, I was going to YouTube to find a solution on what or how to replace but then when I walked in, one of the workers quickly came up and asked what I was looking for, suggested items that were inexpensive and even went out and replace the headlamp and wipers for me. I heard on the radio that AutoZone dose diagnostic test if you have a check engine light and that they will help you either find a mechanic or do it yourself. Unfortunately I found out the hard way this is not the case. When I visited the AutoZone today because I had a check engine light on my truck. They gave me this little scanner to plug into your car and you turn the key on it reads the computer when it says done you go back inside and they tell you what's wrong with your vehicle. On the computer screen inside the store it told us that the O2 sensor was bad. When I asked the guy which O2 sensor he could not answer that was he was not familiar with the computer program he wasn't even familiar with vehicles or parts. He gave me a print out and said give this to your mechanic he was unwilling to help any further. Back in the day when you go to the auto parts store the parts person knew about cars and the parts they were sold in the store. He didn't even try sale me any parts. I would've bought the part and maybe even a couple tools and now Very disappointed in the customer service I'll never go back to this AutoZone again. read more

Manager of this Autozone is a jerk. He sold me snow chain for my SUV. After I gave him the tire size he sold me the wrong size snow chain and told me it is non refundable or exchange. Fine I don't mind that. When I got to the mountain the chain was too small. We were turned back because we dont have snow chain. Ruin my day off. This Autozone has bad service and a terrible manager. I came here to get my car battery checked (Free service) because it had a slow crank. According to the device, it was weak and the worker recommended a replacement. I asked if he would install it for free which he agreed. He checked my make and model and asked which battery I would want. After he installed it in 2mins and everything worked (windows, sunroof, radio, etc). Overall the workers were friendly and nice. I would recommend getting batteries here. read more

Best Autozone I've been to. Tom is the best person to go to. I have been going there for over 5 years and Tom has been there for me, he treats everyone with the best attitude you can think of. I have not had any bad experience with them, there are some downfall on some of the staff members that I question myself (How in the world are you working here) but because I know this place I know that those employee's wont last long. Got my battery car replace here. I didn't know autozone replace battery for u. Super cool, didn't have to reset my navigation or radio.

I bought all engine oil filter etc from this place. After I have done the oil change and bring back the oil to recycle, the Mexican guy in the red shirt give a very bad attitude. He is not willing to show me where is the recycle oil container in the back but have me holding the oil looking for it. Eventually, after I pour everything by my self. I used couple piece paper towel to wipe the oil pan so nothing will be dropped on the floor. The red shirt guy was talking rudely and not happy with me using that couple piece of paper towel! Cheap ! Cheap! Bad attitude and rude. I would go to Orelay and never come back! read more

The Asian old man with black hair was rude, my fiancé asked more information regarding the coolant that should be used on his car and the guy said "if you don't care about your car you can use any of them" like obviously he's asking because he cares about his car! This AZT has been here a long time! I buy very little these days, but this store is local, and seems to always have parts, lubes, cleaners, and stuff I need! I check prices here, and O Reilly, and then with T's auto in So El Monte. I buy serious parts if priced ok, as KYB shocks from T's, if Frank is competitive price wise!, and beats prices when you know what they are,and has OEM Toyota stuff also! Always check here for prices and check other places before getting parts! read more

Everything at Autozone is overpriced. And one thing about their Dura-Last batteries are worthless now, it used be great but not anymore, I think they are reconditioned car batteries that only capable of lasting for a year to a year and a half until dead which is unusual. A normal new battery usually last up to 3 to 4 years of usage, but not Autozone batteries. Luckily Autozone has 2 year warranty on their car batteries, I usually get my car battery from this neighbor Autozone, I have had replaced the battery twice during the 2 years of warranty, it's very frustrated when the battery dead in a year or so, I don't trust Autozone battery from now on, hate to replace it every year. I would rather buy the car battery from dealership or mechanic shop. Definitely better and longer lasting than from Autozone. read more

Had the materials and promotions out. Really retarded to display things not for sale as well as promotions that aren't even valid. Our car wouldn't start so we thought something was wrong with the battery. We went in to get our battery charged. When we came back, the guy said the battery is dead. But then when we tried to install the new battery, the car still wouldn't start. Turns out that there was mechanic problems and not the battery problem. Now we are out $135!! read more

After he finished I offered to pay him for the labor. He denied and told me if I could let his boss know what he did. Of course I and my mom were happy to do that and thankful them for this help. Great service here! All workers are very nice and helpful. I came here to check my alternator. After checked, it needs a new one. I left the shop to the mechanic to change my new alternator. After I drove for around 70 foot, my car is broken down at the middle of the street. I called them, and one of the worker came to me in 1 min to charge my car. However, I think my alternator is super bad that the battery wasn't charged at all. She tried to charge again, and again doesn't work. We tried to push the car to the parking lot. One of her co-worker saw us and came out to help us. Finally, my car is in their parking lot. I really appreciate their hard work, especially under almost 90 degree. read more

When I first came in, I really had no idea what I needed besides a new battery. The first guy to help me didn't really seem to know too much. We went outside to test my battery and he saw all the corrosion build up on some part of my battery, and he didn't really want to help me change it at all. Not knowing much about cars, I didn't know if it was serious or not. So at that point I was pretty much prepared to take my car to an auto shop, however; it wasn't until he tagged out with Mike that things actually started happening. Mike was able to show me all the things I needed to get to get my car working normally again. As soon as he found everything, him and Ruben went outside, change my battery and some wire with the corrosion build up on it like it was nothing! I was really surprised at how easy they were able to do it considering how bad the first guy made it seem. Afterward I offered to tip the two guys, but they didn't accept it. I came to o Reilly's to buy freon since it low. It was working but needed extra freon to keep me cool in this hot weather. The employee named Ty, which I am not sure if that was his name because he shirt read Esteban, offered to put it the car. I assumed he knew what he was doing since he offered straight out and said it was an easy process. Ty proceeded to look at the car and said it was really low. He then added the entire can without using the gauge on the can. The car immediately started blowing out hot air. He said it should cool down and it never did. I found out that cars need a certain amount of freon or else major problems can occur. I called and talked to tys boss and told him it wasn't cooling down. And he said we usually don't let our employees do that and said the car was broken beforehand. My car is bran new and has had no issues in the past. He then blamed it all on me that the car was broken. I got the car looked at and ty added over more than half over the limit of freon. The guy had NO idea what he was doing. Do not go here for any work on there car. They were no help and obviously hire people that are not qualified for the job. I went to autozone instead and they fixed the problem right away. read more
