I came here many times with no problems with this location's customer service and they never had a problem with price matching, but recently i had a poor experience with an elder white man with glasses who gave me attitude for no reason and he refused to price match me because he said they didn't price match. I told him i've been price matched here multiple times and he still refused to price match me. On top of that his face was exposed while he was talking to me. Well I went in for some wiper blades and they found them quickly and installed them for me. Even if they are understaffed you just wait a little bit of time and they take care of you! There are some damn amazing people in this world. So - car battery is crap. I was waiting for my bf to get home to help me take care of this, so in the meantime he instructed me to look on autozone's website for my specific car battery. Unfortunately he got stuck at work, so I rushed to the autozone that had my battery to at least buy the damned thing that way my bf could install it when he got home. I buy it, go to leave, and the battery is completely dead. Flustered, I ask if they could give me a jump, but instead they offered to change it out for me TEN MINUTES TO CLOSE. I popped in about 6:30 on Nov 9 th. When I walked in the 2 young men where talking to what appeared to be a friend. I thought to myself- "great, it will take me forever to find wipers for my car". To my surprise, the young men stopped what they were doing and one came over offering to help. He explained the different types of wipers and found the ones I needed. As he went to ring me up the other young man offered to install them on my car. He was out the door in a second. I needed one small specialty O-ring for my grandmother's car. I called to see if it was in stock and spoke with Jeremy. He answered the phone after one ring and sounded very interested in my problem. He gave me some options on where I might find one and said that if I came into his store he would match up the size for me. All this for what was basically a $1 sale. When I arrived he greeted me quickly and showed me the different options. He cut open some packaging and checked online to make sure I was getting the right part. All for a relatively small sale. I was so impressed I picked up another needed part and some extra coolant just to try to make it more worth his while. I went to my Hyundai dealership to get my car checked for a check up and got a print out for things they told me I needed, I took a trip to my nearest autozone to get more info and the young man that started helping me i think his name was Christopher. He gets an input by his manager Christian to test my battery because Hyundai mentioned to me that I needed a new batter $300 plus installation, Christopher then tests my battery and he confirms with me that it's not bad but it's 100% good. So I didn't need a battery after all!. Then Christian offers to install my cabin air filter. I say yes so he try's and he succeeds too! I give these guys a thumbs up overall. First, an improvement suggestion and others have mentioned this on Yelp too. When I went there (a couple of times now), it took some time for someone to actually pay attention that someone was in the store and able to help. The Great: The guy that helped me, Dean I think was his name was great and went above and beyond to try to help me with what I needed. Their range of loaner tools is much better than Checker O'Reilly which is somewhat closer to me. However, Check always has someone paying attention. Easy to understand if the place is crowded and there are lots of folks needing help that a wait is in order if you go BUT when there is no one and your totally being ignored by SEVERAL people behind the counter. BAD. I've been here several times because it's very close to my home and convenient for me. But as of today looks like the guys across the street at O'Reilly auto is now become my go to store for auto help. Unlike this store, they were helpful, nice AND cheaper! I went today to get a new battery. I told them I would need help installing the battery and they agreed before I paid for the battery. When I checked out, I was asked again if I needed help installing - I said yes. I paid for the battery and THEN they told me they could not install the battery bc the manager of the store was the only one who could install it and he wouldn't leave his post to go to the parking lot- even though there were 3 other workers in the store. I understand if this is protocol - I just don't understand telling me one thing (twice) and then not following through. read more

There was a auto part store close that starts with an O nearby I walk in and asked if they could help me put oil in and. They said no we can't. How disappointing. Then I remembered that a while back I had been to an autozone and they were so helpful. I walk into this auto zone on Almaden exp. and 2 young ladies greeted me and asked how they can help me. I told the about low oil light and they told me which oil I needed and told me they would show me where oil goes and how to check it.
