My experience with this store was good. Tony, and a white-haired older man - the only two there behind the counter that evening - went out of their way to assist me even though they were obviously and understaffed - a refreshing experience to conclude the four previous days of utter frustration and extensive repairs dealing my Chevy pickup's reoccurring problem of shedding the serpentine belt and destroying the PS pump. I've had similar experience at other AutoZone stores - and yes it's true these guys aren't first line mechanics. But this door in Vacaville does at least try to help you get to the bottom of the issue. read more

ON 4-3-15 I Stopped in auto Zone in Wareham,Ma. to tell them my 7 year old catalytic converted was broken. I bought it with a lifetime warranty I found that they didn't have that brand anymore. They ordered one that fit my truck had me pay and told me when I took the old one off my truck and returned it I would get a full refund.The next day the new one came in I return the old one got my refund hassle free. I'm 64 years old and this was a very good experience for me I guess I have old values. I would like to thank the people involved with helping me. Sub par customer service. Everyone is easy to talk to, but there is a short mexican woman with a "know it all attitude problem". Other than that, my past experiences have been OK. The store is small but have most of the little stuff that I need. Like the typical auto parts store oils, chemicals, and lubricants are the only stuff worth buying. When it comes to quality parts the dealership is the way to go. read more

Yesterday morning I was on my way to work and noticed some lights flashing on my dash. I found out my radiator and water pump were leaking and needed replaced. I called around for prices and availability. I called this store and talked to Vanessa. She was very knowledgeable very professional and very nice. All of the places had to order parts and said they would not have them all until Tuesday or Wednesday. Vanessa also said she would have to order parts. The difference was she said she would have them later in the day. The price was a bit higher but the fact that she could get the parts that much sooner was awesome. So this review is for Autozone because of the speed in getting the parts I needed. But more important it's for hiring Vanessa and having her at your counter helping people. A+ for her customer service skills. Whatever this store is paying her they might want to pay her a bit more to make sure they keep her. Vanessa is why the next time I need a part I will check with Autozone first and I hope it's Vanessa that I talk to. Vanessa is the best of the best. read more

I have been going to autozone since I moved to Vacaville and I have always experience great customer service up til a few months ago. there is a employee named Ally who gave me the worst customer service experience I have ever had. She was extremely rude and didn't know a damn thing about what she was doing. she had given me wrong parts in three different occasions and never apologized at all instead I got a rude attitude because she mistaken a acura part for a chevy part # on all occasions. so know when I do go there I refuse to have her service me. read more

Auto Zone is conveniently located near where I live and my husband encouraged me to go there to have my car battery checked out since is seemed to have gone bad. I called ahead to see if they had a tool to check the battery. They told me that they could check both the battery and the alternate free of charge! I was completely stunned! I went there shortly after I called. I received a friendly greeting from the employee, Jeff. He was quick to help us right away! It was confirmed by the machine that the battery was bad. Jeff even offered to check the alternator to be sure that everything was fine with it and it was all good. Jeff then proceeded to remove and install they new battery right on the spot. He said this is part of the services provided. I was very grateful for Jeff, for he showed that he cared about our situation. I also feel that he went above and beyond with his customer service and knowledge of what he was doing. We can now drive our car with peace of mind all due to be well taken care of by Jeff. read more
