10 of us ate here for New Years Eve and everyone loved their meals. From the apps to the bagged specials, everything was delicious. I did the Black Mussels with Autumn sauce and medium heat...unreal! Started with the Steamed Oysters in the Autumn sauce and that set the stage. Both my kids devoured their lobster tails and sides and my wife loves the snow crab legs. No complaints from any of us! Food poisoning is a moderate to high risk at this seafood restaurant. Just around two hours after eating raw oysters, I entered a very painful food poisoning. After sharing my experience With my boss and coworkers, my boss tells me his friend also just experienced the same event as I did exactly a week prior; after eating the same raw oysters at the same place, Autumn's Crab. After sharing the experience with my Dad, asked me if the oysters were on ice as he is a long time cook, and knows oysters must remain on ice and at a high cold temperature. I told him the oysters were on a wood board on top of ice. I've never had raw oysters before and had I known this I immediately would have sent the order back to the kitchen. That was my first food poisoning, and Autumn's Crab earns the credit anytime in the future when I (and others) will find myself engaging in bad food experience conversations. read more

I wanted to try this place so I went there to get some takeout. I ordered fried calamari and I ordered shrimp with the head on with garlic butter. When I got home, I tried the calamari, and it was clear that it was not fresh. It was OK but a little rubbery. It came with a sauce, which I've never heard of serving before with calamari that was like a Asian sweet-and-sour sauce. I didn't like it at all. I then tried the shrimp which I ordered with the head on but it came with the full shell too! I've ordered this other places and it came without the shell which I prefer. The shrimp was mushy as if it was frozen previously it also came without any lemon at all. I've never seen fish of any kind served without lemon. I would not eat there again. read more
