    Latte

The service was wonderful and personable and the food was great! I got the Reuben. I can't remember our waitresses name but she was lovely and got me this latte for free when I did not like my potato salad. The vibe itself is a mom and pop diner style breakfast and lunch place. It got pretty packed around noon.

It's where you come for consistent comfort food. The Cuban was quite delicious. I didn't know how extensive their coffee flavors were. Always a plus.

Breakfast was pretty good here! I love diners and this is a great addition to our neighborhood. Loved my Good Morning Platter. Not super salty which is great for those who are looking for lower sodium options. My dad did say his coffee wasn't very hot, but didn't want to complain. Overall, good experience and I will be returning!

Avalon just delivers every time. After a disastrous Christmas dinner at an overprice, terrible steakhouse, it was nice to get back to earth with lunch at Avalon. The food is fabulous, perfectly prepared and service is friendly and fun. Oh, and bring your appetite.

    Meatloaf and mashed potatoes

Ashamed to say, it has been so long since we had been over this way. Avalon diner has all of your down-home favorites cooked just like your grandma would make it. They also adjusted their hours to accommodate dinner on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Those nights they're open until 7 PM! The rest of the week and weekend they close at 2 PM. My husband opted for one of the specials which was meatloaf and mashed potatoes. He asked to customize his mashed potatoes, a little bit with some shredded cheddar cheese, and a side of sour cream. One of the few restaurants we've ever been to that actually accommodated it. Meatloaf is moist with good seasoning and mashed potatoes were well done. I opted for the Montecristo with fries, as I mentioned before their fries are perfect! Sandwich was really good. I love that it's served with blackberry preserves as it gives a little bit more hardiness to the very sweet dish that it is. if you were in the Winter Garden area would highly suggest that you check them out! It's a great locally, owned and operated business !

Southwestern omelette with home fries- $9.99

Checked out several places in the area for brunch on a Sunday morning. Not an easy feat with churches letting out around that time. Thankfully found this one on Yelp and really had no wait. The place was packed, inside and out, and our party of 4 stood at the hostess station outside waiting unsuccesfully for someone to notice us. A couple sitting at a nearby table suggested that we just grab the open table outside and seat ourselves. They said they were regulars and that usually works out fine. Sure enough, within about 10-15 minutes, a server came by asking us what we wanted to drink. There were about 5 or 6 tables outside. Not sure how many were inside but it appeared to be a small place and super packed, so no thank you. The weather held up, we enjoyed a nice breeze and it wasn't too hot so sitting outside worked out perfectly for us. The omelettes were fairly basic and really didn't have much seasoning on them. Same goes for the home fries. The serving size was ample and filling. If you are avoiding bread, you can order a serving of sliced tomatoes as a replacement, which is a nice option. I would visit this place again but probably not on a Sunday morning.

Local diners are the backbone to so many neighborhoods. When you are too lazy to cook or just want that quintessential American vibe, Avalon Diner is where it's at. Breakfasts here are our favorite. There is something about that delicious crunch of their hash browns that cannot be matched! Omelettes and sandwiches are on point. Whether you are coming in to sober up from a late night or dressed in your Sunday best, you are greeted warmly with a "what can I get you, hon"

The ambiance alone makes this place worth visiting -- it's beautiful, warm, inviting, and incredibly photogenic. Every little corner feels thoughtfully put together, which makes it such a lovely place to sit, relax, and enjoy the moment. One thing I especially loved is that they decorate the café based on the season, and it was honestly so cute seeing all the Easter décor and festive little touches throughout the space. It made the whole café feel even more special and gave it such a whimsical, cheerful vibe. You can tell they really put effort into creating an experience and not just serving coffee. This place also holds a little extra meaning for us because we actually did a mini engagement photo session here with our friends just for fun, and it felt so fitting since we met on Coffee Meets Bagel. So being able to capture that sweet little full-circle moment in a café setting made it feel even more personal and memorable. It was such a cute and meaningful way to celebrate a piece of our story. Overall, Rosallie is the kind of place that's perfect for a cozy coffee date, catching up with a friend, taking cute photos, or just enjoying a peaceful little escape in Winter Garden. Bold flavors, perfectly balanced, and clearly crafted with passion--whether you're into crisp lagers, hoppy IPAs, refreshing hefeweizens, or something seasonal and creative, they've got you covered. The limited editions and specials are especially fun to explore. What really made the visit shine was the friendly and incredibly helpful staff. They knew their beers inside and out, offered great recommendations based on what I like, and were happy to let me sample a few options without any pressure. No pretentious beer-snob vibes here--just genuine enthusiasm and top-notch service that made us feel right at home. Bonus points for the setup: tons of food options right there in the market (perfect for pairing), outdoor seating, and a great atmosphere for hanging out with friends or people-watching in charming downtown Winter Garden.
