As soon as you step into the shop, you're greeted by the many inviting aromas, the sight of hanging prosciutto, and a beautiful display of over 50 freshly prepared dishes, which are made daily. The sandwiches are absolutely delicious, generously portioned, and perfect for a very hungry individual like myself or for sharing. If you are ordering ready to eat items, plan ahead as this is a strictly take out establishment. You'll also find a wide variety of gourmet, ready to enjoy meals, imported cheeses and meats, and Italian pantry staples and gift items. Their selection of homemade ravioli, fresh pastas, and sauces from classic marinara to rich bolognese is unmatched. The service is top notch, and the ambiance has a warm, family feel that makes every visit feel like coming home. Durso's combines quality, tradition, and hospitality a true Italian culinary gem in Queens.

Their ravioli are outstanding, once you've had them, you'll find yourself walking right past the refrigerator case at your local supermarket. They also prepare a wide range of Italian specialties, including eggplant parmigiana and rollatini, along with lasagna and a variety of chicken and veal dishes. While I tend to gravitate toward certain favorites, the overall quality and care are evident throughout. Go early, especially around the holidays, as it can get quite busy. And don't miss the ravioli, along with their other fresh pastas like cavatelli and rigatoni. They also offer a great selection of specialty pastas in frozen form, which are well worth having on hand. Durso's is not inexpensive, but as I always say, you get what you pay for, and everything here reflects top-quality ingredients and craftsmanship.

You can really tell they take pride in their pasta here, it's perfectly cooked and tastes like it's made in-house (because it is!!) The new menu brings such a fun, elevated twist while still keeping that authentic, comforting Italian feel. Everything we tried was a hit--rich sauces, high-quality ingredients, and beautiful presentation across the board. The atmosphere is cozy but still has that trendy, date-night energy, and the service was just as good as the food--friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. Simone and his team are the BEST!!! This is one of those spots that you leave already planning your next visit. If you haven't been since the menu change, RUN back--you're seriously missing out.

The food: I've only tried the bolognese with two different pastas, both fireee. I really enjoy the addition of carrots in the bolognese. The carbonara was delicious along with the lasagna. The veal and the celery in the lasagna make it unique. I highly recommend! The service is really friendly, they remember your faces and are quick! The ambiance is chill, never too packed and loud. It's perfect for a date or with anyone really. The bathrooms are also clean thankfully. Overall, super tasty authentic food with excellent service 5/5

I'm used to getting ravioli from an Italian Superstore that's dotted across Long Island. Good? Yeah maybe but what I grew up with? Nah. I'm in The Bronx and I'm going to stop at Borgatti's Ravioli for our Sunday dinner. Walking into the store, it's very small. There are high glass partitions, no touching just pointing. I see the various pastas and ravioli but I want the big suckas. Small ravioli? C'Mon! I made the best red sauce that I will drown these raviolis in a sea of tomatoes. The small raviolis just can't swim in my pot! The older gentleman behind the counter asks if he can help me. I ask him to open the box and actually show me the larger ravioli. Oh baby, they are large and in charge. Why I walked out with one box still boggles my mind because I should have bought 3. I'm not in the area too often and the extra boxes would have carried me through the winter. I hand over my cash and the gentleman says God Bless to me. I'm not getting blessings on Long Island! When I came home, my wife made the perfect Sunday dinner. Those raviolis came straight from the 70s. Simply perfect. God Bless us, everyone.
