(6 out of 5 stars!)…read more This was my second time renting with Fox Rent A Car, and once again it was an excellent experience largely because of Zak. Zak was extremely helpful, professional, and communicated everything clearly from start to finish. The checkout process was quick and timely, and he went above and beyond to explain things I didn't fully understand without ever making me feel rushed. Because of Zak's outstanding customer service, I'm officially a customer for life. I'm a co-parent and travel to Austin every other month, and Fox will continue to be my go-to rental company because of experiences like this. Please keep Zak around give him a raise, recognition, whatever you need to do because he is awesome and will absolutely continue bringing in repeat business. Employees like him make all the difference. Goodbye Budget Rental and hello Fox!

I wish i could give 0 stars but 1 is the only on Yelp. We booked a car through wisecars.com (car…read morebroker) and then they said we had to pick up the car from fox rent a car. It took us more than 30 minutes to get our car from the fox rent a car. First off, we reserved a Kia Sportage online and paid for it. However, when we got to the booth, the representative kept telling us we booked a Nissan Kick. And then, he said that car wasn't available either and that we can only rent us the Dodge charger which was a sedan. It newly saying is roomy and it would have plenty of space for our things. Which was bull! When we asked for a SUV, he said he had a grand Cherokee but it would cost us$20 more per day. It was so frustrating. He wasn't trying to work with us. I thought he was being rude and took advantage of us. We ended up taking the dodge because we didn't want to pay more. By the way, it wasn't roomy at all. It was cramped inside the car with the car seat, diaper bag, and me in the back with the baby. We were so mad. We complained to wisecars.com about our situation and they said they would email fox rent a car. They got back to us and said that fox rent a car actually upgraded us to that sedan. How was that an upgrade from an SUV? I wish I read the reviews for this rental car company before we went there. Don't rent from these guys. They don't care about you.

I took an Uber there and arrived just at 8:00 when they opened (I needed to get to work) and I was immediately greeted by a friendly face of an employee there. They were super helpful and kind and got me all set up with a nicely maintained, clean car within 20 minutes. As I was waiting, I witnessed several interactions with the employees and customers and they were knowledgeable, professional and kind. One of the employees was training the other and they both still had time to get everyone taken care of quickly. I'm a recruiter so I notice these things and I'll admit it- I was really tempted to try and recruit these two! Today I called because I needed to extend my rental and again received the kind, knowledgeable, courteous service I received when I first went in. Of course I hope I don't need a rental again anytime soon but if I do, I'll be going to this Hertz location.

Enterprise provided the worst customer service I've ever experienced…read more On July 17, I called the Enterprise location in Bloomsburg, PA, around 10:40 a.m. and spoke with a male employee. He confirmed that a 7-passenger Tahoe or similar SUV would be available for pickup at 9:00 a.m. on July 18, with a return at 9:00 a.m. on July 20, for $241. I gave him both my phone number and my mother's phone number. I immediately received a confirmation email, so I assumed everything was set. Around 3:30 p.m., I decided to stop by the office just to make sure all of our luggage would fit in the Tahoe. When I arrived, I was told there was no large SUV or van available for July 18. The employee claimed they had tried to call us, but both of our numbers were "out of service." That was simply not true. My phone received eight other calls between 11:14 a.m. and 3:19 p.m., but not a single call from Enterprise. My mother didn't receive any calls either. Trying to save our family trip, my uncle called the Enterprise location in Shamokin and was able to reserve a similar SUV. This reservation required pickup on July 17 before their 6:00 p.m. closing time, and the price was higher--$301. After receiving the confirmation email, he rushed home from work, and we immediately left for Shamokin, a 45-minute drive from Bloomsburg. Our ETA was 5:52 p.m. Around 5:35 p.m., my uncle called the Shamokin office to let them know we were on our way. That's when the employee informed him that they also did not have a large SUV available. So despite receiving two confirmation emails from two different Enterprise locations, we ended up with no vehicle at all for our July 18 trip. The explanation we kept receiving was that a third party handles the reservations and that the local offices have nothing to do with them. That raises an obvious question: Why is Enterprise allowing customers to reserve vehicles that don't actually exist? If a third party is making reservations, shouldn't Enterprise ensure those reservations are accurate before confirming them? Had I not stopped by the Bloomsburg office that afternoon, we would have shown up at 9:00 the next morning expecting a vehicle that was never available. We would have discovered the problem only minutes before our trip. What would Enterprise have done then? Would anyone have taken responsibility? Would they have found us another vehicle? Or would we have simply been told, once again, that there was nothing they could do? This entire experience was frustrating, stressful, and completely avoidable. A reservation confirmation should actually mean that a vehicle has been reserved. Customers should not have to discover on their own that their confirmed reservation doesn't exist.
