    The car is very costly and they will not tell you the about insurance amount. Enterprise is much better

First, I was greeted upon arrival. Scott was wonderful, helpful, and understanding when I had accidentally reserved a car at another location. I thought this would terribly delay me, but it didn't. They luckily had one available. I returned it within 24 hours and check out was seamless. I was very disappointed when I found out they don't allow personal cars on their lot for the day if you are renting, and wish that had been somewhere on my reservation. My email receipt never got to me, but a quick 3 minute phone call with Samantha helped me procure my receipt for my expense report. She was kind and friendly and patient and even waited on the phone with me to make sure I got the email.

Under the previous managers, Craig and Jacob, I never experienced any issues. They understood my business needs, communicated professionally, and always treated me with respect. Unfortunately, that completely changed. I was treated unprofessionally and without the level of respect that a long-term, loyal customer should expect. There was no attempt to understand the situation or value the relationship we had built with Enterprise over the years. When I contacted the 1-800 customer service number to speak with a manager or someone who could address my concerns, no one followed up with me. Instead, I was repeatedly told it was a "corporate decision" and that I needed to return the vehicle. The issue involved my payment card being temporarily locked--a security feature I routinely use. This has happened several times over the past year, and whenever Enterprise called, I simply unlocked my card and the payment was processed without any problems. Craig and Jacob were familiar with this process, and it was never an issue until now. What is most disappointing is the lack of customer service. After spending more than $30,000 with this company, I expected to be treated as a valued customer, not as if my business meant nothing. Looking back, I could have purchased a vehicle for my business with the amount I've spent in rentals. I chose Enterprise because of the convenience, the reservations, and the excellent service I previously received. Sadly, that level of service is no longer there. Enterprise should carefully consider the leadership and customer service standards at this location because they have lost a loyal, long-term customer.

They provided a confirmation code that did not coincide and was not findable by their system. Renita was persistent and made it happen by trying different search methods. HOWEVER, beside the service Renita provided, it was not the best experience. I had thought that because it was directly at the airport that the experience would be quicker than renting from a spot outside of the airport. Boy I was wrong. There were many counters at this rental car area and the only one with a long line was Alamo. I thought, "just my luck". They seemed severely understaffed and overworked. I felt for the staff. If you have extra time you want to kill - by all means rent through Alamo@ Charlotte Airport. If you are trying to leave the airport ASAP, then I do not recommend. Unfortunately, because of my poor experience, I would be hesitant to rent from Alamo, at least this location, in the future.

Having the reservation at 8 but no one was available to get the car resulted in me not even receiving the vehicle to get to my destination. I tried calling again later in the day to get a hold of someone and still got no response, so I was disappointed with this company and left to go find other services to get to my destination.

Right after making the reservation we got a phone call from the Enterprise location advising that the car we rented may not be available when we arrive, but they'll offer us other options upon arrival. When we arrived just 2 hours after making the reservation, they employee told us the car we had confirmed on the website wasn't available but we could pay more to upgrade to another car. When we questioned the amount of the additional charge the employee became dismissive and difficult to work with. She began whispered conversations with the other employees and treating us like we were an inconvenience because we wouldn't immediately agree to the upgraded car and extra charge. We asked if there were cars being washed and soon available that are the car size we originally rented. She said she didn't have to time to check and would get back to us. Only 2 minutes later...surprise!!!...the car size we originally rented pulled up outside and was available. The employee tried to SCAM us by saying the car we reserved wasn't available. DISHONEST scam location!!!

I also got the Insurance through Priceline , not Budget since it was cheaper. I don't usually get the insurance , but since I was going to be staying in Myrtle Beach for a few days I wanted to be covered since theft , vandalism , and such are a problem now more there. I still love Myrtle Beach though. I also visited friends and family in both NC and SC. After having it a couple days I noticed a charge for the Insurance through Budget. I tried calling several times and couldn't get through to the airport location. When I called the 1-800 number ( in India ) they wouldn't take it off and said I would have to talk to the airport location itself either on the phone or upon return. When I returned it I spoke with one of the reps and they took it off and said on my Hertz Gold it has me automatically taking the insurance , so I went online and changed that. I never had it set on my account and last time I rented I didn't get charged , but somehow it got changed to authorize insurance upon rental. Of course the walk from the terminal in Charlotte to your rental car area is terrible and they were doing some remodeling. Since I'm Hertz Gold I went directly to the car area and went inside the office there to get my keys , contract , etc and find out where my car was parked , it was right next to the office. The car was clean and I inspected for damage and it all looked good. When I drove out to the gate I noticed the low tire pressure light on one of the tires and it was only down a couple pounds according to the gauge. I stopped at like a 7-11 with an air pump and added a few pounds and was on my way. A few days later the light comes on again and I added air again to the tire. I didn't see any nails in the tire or anything like that , slow leak. I spent almost a week in Myrtle Beach and the last day again I had to add air to the tire before heading back to Charlotte. When I arrived I told them about the tire and it needed to be checked or replaced. The car was nice to have and I had the top down almost the entire trip , the weather was perfect. It got pretty good MPG too , more than my own car. Of course it had all the tech stuff for the radio and Navigation.

Once we arrived we were told there were no cars available even if you reserved. It was stated that there were 30 reservations in front of us with no car available. They said they would call an uber for us for $380 to take us where we needed for the night but with no rental. Later on, we called to cancel the reservation to avoid any charges and they tried to say the car was picked up. We finally got it settled and while asking for confirmation on the cancelation the worker we were talking to hung up on us mid question. Horrible service, and horrible preparation. Would not use this service again. Now me and my family are stranded at a hotel trying to find a last minute car rental when we thought we had a reservation.
