    I have rented from this spot before, but I have to say, I was very disappointed with my most recent rental. Typically, their service is efficient and you're in and out quickly, but this time, it was almost an hour from start to finish. Other customers had come and go, but the team was still cleaning my car. I also expressed that I wasn't happy with my specific rental, because I have rented it before and the car is just not meant for a short girl (thank goodness for a backup camera) but I was told this specific car was all that they had. When I finally received my car, it took an additional 15 minutes or so to find the actual key to the car. Fast forward to actually driving the car, it was quite clear that the interior wasn't cleaned. There was a sticky substance all over the one side door and dash to the point that I couldn't move the air vent. It also clearly smelled of smoke, which I know they can't do anything about. I did receive a follow up phone call the next day, but it was a very surface level and short conversation. I do like enterprise, but I might just not frequent this specific location again.

    1 star and that's being generous…read more I returned a rental at this location and accidentally left my iPhone in the back seat pocket. What followed was 5 days of the most exhausting customer service runaround I've ever experienced. I did everything right. I filed a claim through the official Lost & Found portal immediately. I called customer service. I called the Emerald Club line. I reached out on social media. I visited a National location in NYC in person. I emailed the branch manager directly. The response? Scripted messages telling me 'leadership will reach out.' No callback. No name. No direct number to reach this branch because one doesn't exist. You are completely trapped in a loop of chat bots and 800 numbers with no way to speak to anyone who can actually do anything. Here's the kicker, the car was turned around and rented to another customer without being properly inspected or cleaned. My phone sat in that back seat pocket through an entire additional rental cycle. My phone was only recovered because I personally sent a friend to the airport to look for it. National did nothing. As an Emerald Club member I expected at least a baseline level of service. I got none. Would never recommend.

I returned the car at about 5:15 pm but they have my return time at 4:57 which is impossible. They charged me a refueling fee at $10.99 per gallon for 6 gallons of gas. The car had a nail in the tire from the get go but the nail seemed to be ok and air was not escaping. The blinker didn't work and the back up camera stayed on even when going forward. The car was crap but we didn't complain or try to change it out and just dealt with it. But now you can all hear about it. It just takes one time of something like this happening to you. It's all about how things are resolved as I understand bad things happen in any compnay but Avis has not tried to make things right and for that they get a one star review. Not only was the lack of advanced communication unacceptable, but the inability to cover the forced upgrade is unheard of when the business is at-fault (for a Toyota Rav4 nonetheless). Owner/operator said he would cut the upgrade fee in half, and then proceeded to charge me the full rate. This clown should have his franchise license pulled.

I tried calling again later in the day to get a hold of someone and still got no response, so I was disappointed with this company and left to go find other services to get to my destination.

The car, a Honda Accord 4 door, was clean, drove well and was fine. He had to apologize for a previous customer putting tent on all the windows! No fault of Enterprise. But who would do that on a rental???? We arrived late so not many options to switch out in our price range and style. We rode through Va, and was hoping it would not be an issue. And it wasn't. Caitlyn was running the desk and I found out she is the manager, and she took care of me so quickly and professionally, I thought I rolled into a simulation. Caitlyn ran that whole office with about 6 other ppl waiting for vehicles, insurance updates or just availability, she gave everyone attention and an update in their situation. Ryan was equally awesome and professional. He had me off in my Audi in less than 30 minutes. I will forever be loyal to this team as they know how to help customers in any situation. Thanks

I also got the Insurance through Priceline , not Budget since it was cheaper. I don't usually get the insurance , but since I was going to be staying in Myrtle Beach for a few days I wanted to be covered since theft , vandalism , and such are a problem now more there. I still love Myrtle Beach though. I also visited friends and family in both NC and SC. After having it a couple days I noticed a charge for the Insurance through Budget. I tried calling several times and couldn't get through to the airport location. When I called the 1-800 number ( in India ) they wouldn't take it off and said I would have to talk to the airport location itself either on the phone or upon return. When I returned it I spoke with one of the reps and they took it off and said on my Hertz Gold it has me automatically taking the insurance , so I went online and changed that. I never had it set on my account and last time I rented I didn't get charged , but somehow it got changed to authorize insurance upon rental. Of course the walk from the terminal in Charlotte to your rental car area is terrible and they were doing some remodeling. Since I'm Hertz Gold I went directly to the car area and went inside the office there to get my keys , contract , etc and find out where my car was parked , it was right next to the office. The car was clean and I inspected for damage and it all looked good. When I drove out to the gate I noticed the low tire pressure light on one of the tires and it was only down a couple pounds according to the gauge. I stopped at like a 7-11 with an air pump and added a few pounds and was on my way. A few days later the light comes on again and I added air again to the tire. I didn't see any nails in the tire or anything like that , slow leak. I spent almost a week in Myrtle Beach and the last day again I had to add air to the tire before heading back to Charlotte. When I arrived I told them about the tire and it needed to be checked or replaced. The car was nice to have and I had the top down almost the entire trip , the weather was perfect. It got pretty good MPG too , more than my own car. Of course it had all the tech stuff for the radio and Navigation.
