Dont judge a book by its cover. The outside is a little deceiving but if you head inside you will be pleasantly surprised. Avocados is really yummy and fresh! Honestly what more can you ask for from Tex-mex. The salsa was amazing and was made with very ripe delicious tomatoes. The portions were huge and the price perfect. The food here is pretty good if you're looking for tex mex. The portions are large so I feel that they fit the bill, which is a little higher than most places. I've had the chicken quesadilla and the enchilada-style bean burrito and they were both pretty good and WAY more food than I could eat in a sitting. The chicken Tacos are delicious. Their steak burritos are the best. The only thing I'm not really a fan of is the nachos. I've gotten them twice and the cheese is usually burnt. I wish they would just make a cheese sauce. Overall it's my favorite taco place in the area. read more

I'm not a huge fan of Mexican food but my husband loves it. Lucky for me, this place is awesome! The empanadas are super delicious but my favorite dish is the shrimp wrap which I usually order in a bowl because I don't like making a mess. They have never screwed up my order and I am very picky. I stumbled upon this place looking for something to eat and was pleasently surprised! I love to walk into a strange place and find it crowded with patrons, It tells me that the food is good. Being my first time here seeing so many things to order I picked a black bean burritto with pork (pulled) and found it to be much much better than Chipotle's. Unlike Chipotle, they're not cheap with they're meat and the flavoring was done very well! another thing that they do that Chipotle doesn't do is give you avocado in your burritto at no additional cost. The place was clean and the servers were very friendly! Absolutely love this place. Whenever I'm craving a burrito, which is often enough, this is the place I come to and I'm happy it's so close to home. Food is always hot and flavorful. Good prices too for the amount of food you get. Inside is nice too; some chairs and tables inside as well as picnic tables outside for when it's nice out and you want to enjoy the nice weather with the food. Staff are always friendly too and let me know what specials they have going on or what's new to the menu. My favorite is the grilled steak burrito, but also love their nachos and avocado quesadilla. I have been to avacados a few times. The atmosphere is ok. That never concerns me unless it REALLY awful and it is not at avacados. The food is decent. The fish tacos r excellent. Their prices are a bit high in my opinion but everything is getting expensive these days. I have not and will not be back to avacados for a service issue. I went to the counter and there were only 2 people in the store: me and the manager. He was doing paperwrk behind the counter down by the end. He makes eye contact and goes back what he was doing. Im like "ok no greeting, that not a big deal, im guessing the counter help will be here in a min." 3minutes later, he looks up again, says nothing and goes back to doing paperwrk. I gave him 3more mins. Time passes and the phone rings. He picks it up starting to take an order. By this point hes angered me. Ill never go there again for that. $ i spend is an investment in a business... And i dnt think thats a good business practice. Weird to be simply ignored like that.
