For over a week, I've been trying to get a hold of management for a purchase my cousin and I made at Avondale Nissan. The agreed value, and the financed contract did not match. There is over $1,000 discrepancy that was not disclosed to us after the agreed amount. I've been given multiple different reasons of the additional charge, with no one taking accountability. I've spoken to two sales individuals, two finance individuals, most recently Julio Flores the sales manager who we've emailed 4x gotten a hold of twice, with the most recently put on hold and then sent to voicemail. I've left 3 voicemails prior to this last call. As of today, I am attempting to reach Felix Ember the GM regarding this discrepancy to resolve the issue. read more

Here is what we got instead. The salesperson added tint and a car alarm system to our contract without ever disclosing they were optional. There was no itemized add-on sheet. There was no 'would you like to include this or not.' They were simply presented as features already on the car. I have bought cars before. That is not how it is supposed to work. The finance office was its own problem entirely. The finance manager rushed us through every document without explaining a single charge. We were asked for a deposit before we were ever shown a full breakdown of the numbers. The office smelled heavily of vape covered by a candle, which tells you everything you need to know about the professionalism level we were dealing with. We are a mother and her teenage son. We were not given the transparency or respect that every buyer is entitled to. Whether that was intentional or not, the result is the same. We are currently disputing the contract and have escalated to the General Manager. We have documented the experience in detail and are prepared to contact Nissan corporate and the Arizona Attorney General's consumer protection division if this is not resolved fairly. If you are a woman, a parent, or anyone who feels like they might get steamrolled in a finance office please bring an advocate with you, demand an itemized add-on list before you ever sit down with finance, and do not let anyone rush you through a signature. Very shady! Do not buy a used car from here! They said I had three days if there was a safety issue with the car they sold me. There was, so I took it back because my mechanic said there were safety issues. The shocks were leaking a suspicious leak and rattle, etc. They of course, said everything was fine when I took it back for inspection. Five days later, my steering wheel shook violently I could barely pull over to the side of the road ! Took it to big O tires a couple blocks down and they had to replace the shocks, bushings, stabilizer bar, etc. They will not help you and there's nothing you can do about it except for give them bad ratings and contact BBB !!! I bought a vehicle from Avondale Nissan. I was super disappointed with the quality of the vehicle. My new car had faulty brakes, no working ac and no gas in the car and a dome light falling out of place. I had to ask them to fil up the tank. These are things that should have been caught in an inspection. Corey, an employee of Avondale Nissan reached out to me and assured me that things would be different. He assured me that if I just gave them another chance, things would change. So I did. I paid $400 something dollars to get my brakes fixed. Brakes are still squeaking as if they were never repaired. I also got a oil change. My car is still leaking oil. Corey assured me that they do through inspections on their vehicles before putting them on the lot. There is no way that a decent mechanic would have thought squeaky brakes and leaking oil was acceptable. The horn stopped working after having my car serviced. The check engine light is still on after having my vehicle serviced. When I asked them about it, no one seemed to care. They said it would go off by itself. Is that how you treat customers? I am tired. I am tired of asking. I am tired of being told it will be different. I won't ever come trust my car with Avondale Nissan again. I basically was conned into buying $10k of extras that I won't ever use. I won't ever use the "free" oil changes that I paid $1000 for. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone! It was a bad experience from beginning to end. The sales team cannot be trusted. The minute we walked in the door, the manager told us that another couple was coming in to look at the same car. Then the salesman he handed us off to said the same thing. I told him we don't play games. We weren't going to buy a car because someone else might want it. They tacked on $5K worth of "add ons" that were already on the car, just for added profit. The interest rate was 14.99%, which was ridiculous! They refused to acknowledge the smoke smell in the car but kept it for a day to clean it. We specifically asked them to triage the smell, but they did nothing because the salesman couldn't smell it, as he admitted that he smoked and therefore can't smell smoke. He promised to fill up the tank, which is pretty standard no matter where you go. The next day the car was delivered to us with the same horrible smell and the tank was on E! We drove 2 miles and the low fuel light came on. We've told them and they don't seem to care. They don't care about their customers, they only care about making that sale. I inquired about a car and went in to meet with Rodrigo. I let him know my budget & monthly price and that I wanted a decent amount on the trade in and negotiate the car price He told me the amount for the trade in and car. I negotiated with him on both and he said he would go bring it to his boss (Saheem). 20mins later said we can give you that but during that time I texted my husband and he said that wouldn't work so I negotiated more. He agreed on my trade in and going down on the car, I told him I would ask my husband after he got approval from Saheem so he left again to ask and came back with a paper (shown below) where he wrote $27,700 on it for the "out the door price" and he showed me on his computer different interest rates & monthly payment options. I said I would let him know tonight (this was after he talked to his boss 2x and "got his approval" We applied, got approved, then I texted Rodrigo (shown below), then called him. I told him we would bring the check tomorrow & pick up the car. Rodrigo said great I'll call my boss and tell him-I'll see you tomorrow Next day-no response (shown below) when prior he had been very responsive trying to get a sale. We came & were told Rodrigo wasn't in and was off for the next few days- none of which Rodrigo told us. They got the mgr (Saheem). Saheem told us that the car was $33k w/trade in & that he told Rodrigo that when he went in to ask for his approval of my negotiation. I told him that Rodrigo went in to see him TWICE and said that he approved it both times and even came out with a paper where he wrote the car amount and the different possible APR rates we could get. Saheem said that Rodrigo never went in two times- only ONE time and that he denied my negotiation and told him to tell me it was $33k. I told Saheem that I called Rodrigo last night and told him we got approved and would bring the check the next day and he said he was going to call and let you know. Saheem said Rodrigo NEVER called him. I asked Saheem if he could work with us somehow because we already got approved and all Saheem did was continuously explain the process stating that "we should have already known" that if he would have agreed to the negotiated price that I would have been given papers to sign (which we have never done before with any of the other cars we bought from other dealerships- one of which we picked up the next day). Saheem had no compassion and continued to explain "how the process works there." I told him I would write a review about my experience that wouldn't be a positive one and he said to me "If you write a bad review then I won't help you." I told him I would hold off and he "called to see what he could do," came back 3 mins later and said he could take $1k off the price to which we said no because that was still a big difference from the amount of the check we had still. Saheem told me IN FRONT of his other employee- the counter part of Rodrigo- "yeah well I'm sorry this happened so when Rodrigo comes back I'm going to write him up for this," ( extremely unprofessional and inappropriate to state the disciplinary action that you will be giving another employee in front of their counterpart). So My husband called Rodrigo multiple times- no answer. Days later Rodrigo tried to email me(shown below) Then I recvd a call from the dealership asking "is there anyway we can get my business back with them because they have other cars." We were lied to multiple times to the point where we applied for a LOAN under a LIE of a false amount and then was ghosted by Rodrigo, were berated by the manager Saheem about how we should have "already known the process," then threatened to not be helped if I wrote a review read more

I was going to trade in my 2014 Nissan Altima and buy the car. The salesperson came back with the numbers and they added nearly $5,000 in "options" to the vehicle, raising the price by that amount. I said if the car comes with those, which it did, then they weren't really "options" and they should have been included in the price of the vehicle. Sara was great getting my friend in the right vehicle and with basic knowledge on a used vehicle she purchased through Avondale Nissan. The Financing office was a bit pushy with her as can be expected, I guess. After purchasing and upon returning home, she realized Avondale Nissan did not properly transfer ownership in a manufacturer's app to her and she could not start her newly purchased vehicle and had to borrow my vehicle to drop her son the next morning at school. Edited review: When I picked cup my car things weren't exactly as I anticipated. For some strange reason my car wouldn't charge, but when I had it towed back, all Kyle did was plug it in and it reset. I imagine it was a glitch with the software, I'm just so thankful it's working and back to normal. The blue lights that showed it charging weren't coming on and it had a different dash display than it's regular. So, I was very worried. I understand there aren't a lot of electric vehicle drivers in Arizona. Also, when I picked it up the car door was not shut. I was like what? That's what I just paid for. It was communicated that it was the car door handle making the system error in my car, previous review is below. I had a quote of $550 and I wasn't sure if it was worth the fix. It's a 2013. I was so happy when Kyle said it was the handle thinking they were fixing the door and handle so the issue would not happen for that amount of money. I didn't realize the door was body mechanic issue and I was referred to equinox. I wasn't the happiest but I understood my confusion. So, when I had my car towed back after talking to Kyle about my charging issue I expected the problem to be resolved and he did better! One of his techs helped my door get more back in place as a temporary fix and their leaf specialist said this is common issue. I will have the door fixed at a body shop, I am very grateful Kyle went above and beyond when I was not on my best behavior or expecting anything about the door to be fixed m. He is a serious asset to this company. I want to say thank you and I hope you trust this Nissan dealership with all your needs. I was wrong thinking I couldn't trust them. It was just a glitch is what my uncle said when I called this morning and told him what happened. He builds electric vehicles and owns a fully electric dealership in California. I am grateful and if I ever need help with my car in this area I know I can trust my car being taken care of here. I couldn't believe it when the T/S system error came on and all the lights and everything started flashing and clicking! I thought my electric vehicle was broken! I was sure I would be told it was going to cost the price of a new car to fix, BUT I had it towed to the dealership like the error code said and they gave me a fair price to get a new door handle, my door hasn't shut properly in years, I have been slamming it. Once I didn't get it shut and I drained my battery needing a jump. It's been an issue but I didn't know it could error the car, which I'm grateful for now. They were able to order the part and have it completed in less than a week! I am very pleased that this sweet little Nissan leaf is going to keep going! It has been really good to me. Thought I'd share my experience with Avondale Nissan Service department yesterday. I've been taking my Nissans there for years and this will be the last time. They did me so dirty for the second time. I gave them a chance after the first time but this time nope. Sorry for the long post but for those interested or that may go there ... i scheduled a simple oil change at 12:30. Dropped it off was told they close at 4. I never received my usual texts for updates or anything from an advisor- so at 3:30 I went back to get my car. It was sitting in the back windows down flashers on with the service magnet on looking untouched. I asked my advisor he said it was weird they hadn't brought the keys up he'd grab them and be back. He "comped" my oil change and then the paperwork he gave me had nothing from the techs from this visit it was from the last. No bring it in at this mileage sticker and my last one was removed. So I get home and had a weird feeling that my oil change was never done. I checked and what do you know. It's old oil in the car. My advisor just reset the warning n the car and gave me old paperwork. read more

However, I am now finding out three months later when the axel breaks that they blatantly lied to me-- THERE WAS NO WARRANTY. THEY LIED TO ME and sold me the car under false pretenses! And when I called the sales managers Adrian and Rual, they both said it was my fault for not reading the fine print?? I tried to reach out to the general manager Jon Anderson, no response. I purchased a 2021 Nissan Murano in December 2024, after 2 months this vehicle became a nightmare. The issues I have had in the 1st 6 months include cracked and faulty exhaust, air conditioning back vent completely missing, overhead console just falling off, glove compartment broken and missing parts. We have made numerous trips to the service department just to hear that this and that is not covered because I purchased a used vehicle, mind you it went through a 167-point inspection and is certified. pat here again with 2023 genesis g70 update. after a month of back and fourth we finally came to sum what of a agreement to fix my broken blind spot sensor. which they state was water intrusion which causes the sensor to need to be recalibrated. after they had my car for two days they said the bracket to the sensor is broke and the whole thing needs to be replaced. so the first diagnosis of this sensor wasn't properly looked at in the first place, but in order for them to repair my car i need to waive my freedom of speech and the only way to get my car repaired is delete my previous review and stop my complaint with the attorney generals office. once i told them no I'm not doing that's against my freedom of speech the service man named kyle said no its not you can simply pick up the car without the repair and this information was passed down to him from cory and Fahim. which i have been asking to speak to Fahim from the beginning but supposedly is never available. and kyle called me from cory's office which makes me question who i might have been speaking to. not to mention that after repair i can't come back to this dealership or call. which i would never want to but trying to bully me into getting a repair and waive my rights to an honest review absolutely not. i will be filing a complaint to the federal trade commission and the better business bureau. you can't use a review against me to fix my car or not. i had to pick up my car against my will for a repair i will never waive my rights ever! read more

This is the worst dealership in Arizona. I bought a Chrysler from them and they fixed the transmission twice and it still messed up. I took it somewhere else and they won't communicate at all the with dealership I got my car at to get fixed for the 3rd time. They have been holding up the process to get my car fixed for over a month now and I'm so tired of it. This had been a nightmare and I don't know have to recover from this. Took my 23 Nissan frontier for its first official "dealership service". My service advisor was very friendly and my truck was taken care of. People have to realize these aren't drive through oil change places and you'll get your car in under 10 minutes. I usually will bring a book or have someone pick me up and leave the vehicle there. Had an extremely rough time with this dealership in the beginning. I bought a hyundai Tucson and after day 1 the check engine light turned on. I had to take the car back 6 times and the issue still wasn't fixed. I had a rough time with the staff. But then Brett and Corey was amazing to me. They give me a complete refund on the Tucson and helped me get into a Infiniti Q50 for nearly the same payment! Brett showed so much care and showed that he was passionate about helping me. Traded in my vehicle and financed a loan for a price range that fit my budget with Isam the financial advisor and signed the paperwork only to come in two weeks later to be told that's not going to work and spoke with another financial advisor and they raised it almost $200 more when I clearly specified it was out of my range.. they told me I can refinance it later but the company the sent me to does NOT refinance and does NOT work with customers for a "grace period", "refinancing" or "changing date periods" They just want their money and genuinely don't care about trying to help you. read more

OMG warning!!!! buyer beware! please notice there are more 1 star reviews than 5 star, that should say enough! In my case, they screwed up the paperwork three times on a new car purchase and each time that they found out they THEY screwed up, they DEMANDED for me to drop everything and rush in to re-sign the paperwork and were very demanding and threatening! How would you like a call twice in the afternoon demanding and threatening that you HAD to be there by 5pm to fix THEIR mistakes with underlying threats and they continued to call approx every 20 minutes. The last time, I just brought back the car tossed them the keys and bought the exact same model and options down the street and saved over 50.00/month on the payment! In addition, I needed a tax write off for 2024 and because of their gross incompetence, by redoing the paperwork, it is now a 2025 purchase. ARGGGG!!!! They did refund my down payment, but they still owe me for my payment that I made. I have had to contest the payment at the credit card company. The next step will be to file grievances at Better Business Bureau, Arizona State Attorney General and any other agency that has jurisdiction. read more

***WARNING***WARNING***WARNING***WARNING*** Please Please Please avoid this dealership! They conduct fraudulent business. They sold me a tuck ( used but should not matter ) that they reset the computer (ECM) and on and on my commute home from AZ to CA the check engine light came on. This truck was a surprise for my son's 16th b-day and to be nothing but a total disappointment. I called Avondale Nissan shortly after the purchase got nothing but the run around. We tried from months asking Jon Anderson and his team for help and was ignored from day one. After a while when we could contact the dealership asking for Jon Anderson they would just hang up on me, WOW! That's how Jon Anderson and his team conduct business. We even tried contacting his boss Mike Hook, and guess what, he too did not award us the courtesy of a phone call. We searched for months for a truck, and everything on FB, OfferUp etc. the odometers were rolled back. Never in a million years would I think a dealership would screw "one", but they did. They are just as dishonest as those people selling on the market place platforms. They sad part is my son has worked over the years to save for his first truck just to be a bust. We tried to sue but we don't have the money to keep fighting even tho we have proof they reset the computer (ECM). We purchased the truck in Nov of 2023 and it has been sitting in my driveway since. It will cost and additional 6-8K to fix. It's sad that one can't even trust a dealership to be honest. I will say this in closing. Don't buy any used or new for that matter any car or truck from Avondale and if you do bring a scanning tool ( sad that one has to do this but live and learn ) to make sure there are no DTC pending being its take a while for the computer to run its course, it can be 1 hour or several days depending on your driving.
