So I got my seltos in Feb it's a brand new 2026 so happy I got it on my own when I did the paperwork I was bs'd made it sound like the extra packages I got it would cover scratches on my car , nope it was a lie now that I needed help with it they said nope not covered . When I took my car home I got a text from the original sales guy who passed me off to dustin knowing I was going there after work said he had family issue he had to leave so his guy showed me the seltos when we took it for a drive it was just washed and wet I did get the car I really liked it when I was taking out my stuff from old ride to new ride Dustin was showing me gadgets in the car and noticed the car was empty he said bring it back AFTER THE SURVEY and we will fill up your tank I said cool when I got home my son noticed some scratches and blurs in the paint so I can't remember if it was a text for review and I mentioned it so next thing I knew the 1st sales guy hit me up quick told me to come in to take care of what needed to be taken care of so I did then I mentioned Dustin was going to fuel up my car and wash it cuz it was dirty when I got he he replied we don't do that but I'll get with him he's off a couple weeks he just had a baby I'll set a reminder on my phone to let him know I said ok so he tells me can you do the survey and give good props I wasn't in the mood I was tired from work and they are far from where I live so he asked if he could do it for me so I gave him the phone and he did the survey and never got a call back from Dustin of course ...luckily I saved my text messages I found the one of Dustin telling me about fueling and washing my car after I did the survey from Kia ...I took my car for the oil change and tire rotation back in May cuz I bought that package as well ...just this past week I was driving to work when my low oil light came on I thought impossible it's a brand new damn car sure enough I had my car towed to a Kia service place and they said I was short 2 quarts of oil I was like how the heck is that possible it's a new car ??? Anyways prior to this shortly after I got my NEW car my front end started shaking when I would brake I took it in to a Kia service dealership and they said my rotors had to be resurfaced?????? I recently had an outstanding experience at the Kia service department where my husband and I purchased our daughter's used Kia (she had upgraded to a new vehicle). As longtime Toyota owners, this was our first experience with Kia, and we were thoroughly impressed. We initially made a routine appointment for an oil change at the dealership, where we met our service advisor, Destiny. She has single-handedly turned us into fans of this dealership. After years of dealing with various service advisors, working with Destiny was refreshingly different. What made her service exceptional: She proactively informed us about our daughter's extended warranty that was nearing expiration. She then had mechanics perform a complete vehicle inspection, which revealed two repairs that could be made at no cost under the warranty. Her communication was outstanding. She kept us well-informed about parts ordering and, most importantly, arranged for a loaner car since we only have one vehicle. The loaner she provided had just 300 miles on it - what a treat to drive an almost brand-new car while ours was being serviced! I got a car here recently! Samantha was my salesperson she was nice and personable. She was calm and listened to my needs and wants in a car. She helped me find a great deal. I can't say that about everyone. The finance person was rude - when we opted out of the warranty deal he made sly remarks the entire time until we fully closed the deal. He also told me I was financing with one credit union and weeks later I found out it was through a bank that isn't a credit union..not sure how that works and why it changed completely. I was uncomfortable. This was the only negative of my entire experience. If it wasn't for this person it would've been a full 5 stars. We did include ceramic tint and oil changes. You do need to call and get that going. Request a letter of confirmation before going to the tint shop they partner with. Very easy process and only 3 minutes from dealer. I usually leave reviews to share my experiences, and unfortunately, this one is not positive. I purchased two contracts on 11/09/2023 for my 2020 Kia Optima at Ken Garff Kia Bell Road: 1. AppearanceShield Paint Protection Contract ($795) This was sold to me as valid coverage for a new vehicle, but according to the provider's own eligibility requirements, coverage was already expired at the time of sale. This voided the contract from day one. 2. Maintenance Advantage 3 Services Synthetic Contract ($149.95) This contract is cancellable per its terms, and I have formally requested a refund. Despite multiple follow-ups, no one has helped me. The total refund I am requesting is $944.95. The general manager, Carlos Aguirre, has been out on medical leave, but no one else in management has stepped up to resolve these issues. I've been left completely in the dark. If nothing is done soon, I will be escalating this through their corporate legal team, the BBB, and the Arizona Attorney General Consumer Protection division. I expected honesty and accountability when buying from a dealership like Ken Garff Kia, but sadly, that has not been my experience. read more

I got a phone call where basically they said they would reimburse me the money owed to me by them and the catch was if I could kindly retract my review of them. They did tell me I would be reimbursed whether I retracted or not. Well, it's nearly 2 months after the fact. More empty promises more of send me the email more no answered phone calls and what not. I have screenshots, emails and text. From regular seven agents to managers to "customer satisfaction" people. Dishonesty is the trend here. Do not use Ken Graff Kia in Avondale. Had agreed on a lease for a Telluride for 12k miles. I have three witnesses that heard me tell that to the salesman. Come to find out it was for only 10k. They made me sign docs electronically on a giant table size computer. No one in finance department confirmed the milage. I believe the electronic signing of documents on a huge table is meant as a way to distract. I fell for it. I should have insisted on confirming the miles, but have had many leases and never has this happened. Live and learn on my part. Shame on them for taking advantage of the situation & making the signing of documents purposely more difficult to read and navigate. Whatever I have discussed with the sales rep regarding milage on a lease, that is what was in the contract. I thought they were reputable dealership. They are not. Do not get oil changes from this dealership unless you want to sit all day or have it take 2 days. Usually I have to wait at least 4 + hours when I sit at the dealership, even when you make an appointment. Today, I did not want to sit and wait so I dropped it off at my 9:30 am appointment. At 3:00 pm I called and it rang for over a minute with no one answering and I left a voice mail asking about my car. At 4:00 I called again and reached a person who said they would find out the status and call me back. At 5:00 pm i called again and the person put me on hold and came back to say he told each service member to call me about my car. Now it is after 6:00 pm and no word on my vehicle at all! Now I have to wait until the next day to even hear back!! It ruined my evening plans and now my morning plans are also ruined unless I pay for an Uber! All for a simple oil change. I asked for out the door quote on the car and she gave me the quote! Before I went in to see her I found a cheaper price at a different dealership and she matched it! So we made an appointment on Sat at 8 am We test drove car, grand daughter of course loved the car we then went over the number filled out forms for finance. Then Alex of Finance took over. Avoid the service department at all cost. I took my vehicle in for an oil change and when I picked up the vehicle and drove home I get a call from Manny the service advisor that my vehicle was involved in an accident. Which could have been a disaster luckily the damaged was limited to a broken tail light and a misaligned rear bumper and paint damage. Needless to say I was very displeased to learn this. Manny and company informed me that they will take care of all repairs as soon as parts come in in a couple days. Couple of days came and went and still no call or update so I took it upon myself to call and get an update which was damn near impossible because they either screen their calls or just never pick up the phone. I finally get ahold of Manny and he says the parts are in and to bring it in on Monday and that a loaner vehicle would be provided since it was their fault. So I get off early from work to take my vehicle in only to find out Manny and the manager Gabe are both not around and that they are in a "training" class. So I decided to drop the vehicle off anyway come to find out that they did not have a loaner to give me and that the two loaners they had available were both picked up by the owners the previous night. So i asked what about the customer ? And they said " they are the boss ". I right away knew that they did not give a crap about us customers. So then they tell me the best they can do is give me and my wife and two kids a ride home. At this point I don't want anything this service department has to offer and decline the ride home and call my elderly parent for a ride home. At this point they have had my vehicle for a day and a half and still no update and still no loaner to get to and from work. Called the service department again to no avail for almost 3 hours nothing. I finally get ahold Of Maritsa from service and she informs me that neither the service director or Manny the service advisor have been in all day. I I had no choice but to go back to the dealer and pick up my damaged vehicle and two days later still no call or update as to when I can bring my vehicle back in for repairs. I am now forced into seeking legal advice because obviously nobody at this dealership service is interested in fixing the damages that they have done. So I asked if Matt could print me the Kia Seltos or K4. At around 8 pm, he confronted me why I still need the stickers price for those car and he wanted me to close the deal. Every word I said he argued and rudely he said that I was playing a game. Then he left me at one of the cubicles. After a few minutes being left alone I came to his desk; he did not even say anything. Then I realized he actually "kicked me out". One of the sales manager came to me and promised me to send the information. The next morning two of the sales persons did text and called and asked if I could came back to store. My previous car should have been paid off but I am still getting phone calls that they have not received the payment. I have called multiple times to speak with someone about the pay off for the car I never received an answer. The lady that I spoke with in the finance department was supposed to call me back twice but I have yet to hear from her. I only received information because I had to physically go in to talk to someone. Even then they did not have any information as to the tracking number for where the payment is. The leadership is cutthroat. They were playing good cop and bad cop with their salespersons. Then low ball a potential trade-in based on "fair" market value, which the order is excellent, best, good and fair. The vehicle is best and per KBB should have garnered at least $4,500 more. The "bad cop" salesperson then made some excuse about supply and demand in the area for the same vehicle even though they would be sending it to auction. Well..they need to find another auction because most reputable ones buy/sell nationwide and it doesn't matter what the current local market supplies. The "good" cop (sympathetic attitude) was deployed and management made her deliver a "bad" cop offer and then the "bad" cop made a sympathetic offer. They're in the business of making money but a smart buyer doesn't accept a low ball offer, which is countered by a fair offer and followed by another fair counteroffer (instead of an excellent offer) especially for a vehicle that has been sitting on their lot for 56 days. read more

The last few times I went into Ken Garff Kia, they would send you a portal when they thought your car was finished or needed more repairs, but you can't always get into the portal and they won't answer their telephones. Horrible service! Took mine in for an oil change and to get the heating elements replaced in my seats, and they didn't fix it so I had to put it back in the shop and spent three hours waiting on a stupid Rent-A-Car so I could get back home. I waited until 1 PM the next day to call them and had to call the parts department so I could get someone on the phone to talk to me. Then they told me the part they installed is fine and it's working. I went back and got in the vehicle with another Technician and she lied and said the seat was heating and cooling (which it wasn't), and I got her on videotape. This is a total ripoff dealership and I spent over $750 for these two things to be fixed and the major components weren't even fixed. Two people in the background saw me with my complaint talking to a couple of the technicians and were laughing behind the counter at me. Three other customers came in and were yelling and angry also. I can't believe this place is still in business. I wouldn't even give it one star. I filed a complaint with corporate, but because the vehicle isn't under warranty and all the dealerships are owned privately, there's not a whole lot they can do but create a tracking number and get a hold of the dealership. No supervisor from the dealership has called me. I noticed on all of their other negative reviews, there is a supervisor with a basic copied response on all of them about getting a hold of him. My first and last experience here. I had an appointment to get my A/C fixed July 12. Problem was diagnosed in the first 3 hours and was told I would have to leave my car for the weekend. Date of completion was pushed back 5 different times and took a total of 12 days. The service advisor Emmanuel did not keep me in the loop unless I reached out to him. Pre-inspection sheet was inconsistent with what was written on my work order. Also, when I got home from getting my vehicle back they did not put the skid plate back on. After numerous attempts to contact Nick about it, I have not heard back. When I got my vehicle from him he said "if they do wrong they will make it right at Ken Garff Kia" clearly a lie. This dealership is untrustworthy and only cared about the $1800 I gave them for the service rather than customer service. Better off going to Peoria Kia or Surprise Kia. read more

Took 2 cars in this week on separate days and both times poor communication and very chaotic pick up. My service advisor never returned my message with an answer. I left a one of our vehicles there all day as our advisor said there was a recall and they could fix it that day if I had time. 7 hours later I called to get an update and was told the part had to be ordered and our advisor would get back to us when it comes in. We were never called again to let us know part was in. They ask you if you want your car washed afterwards and it is never done. We asked to speak to the service manager as well as the GM and every time we're give the run around. When we picked up our vehicles, the advisor never goes over anything. They are more of a cashier than a service advisor. Any repairs needed are discovered on the report they email you after you have already pick up your car. If you call to speak with a live person, you can never speak to anyone. If you wait on hold to try and speak to someone, you will be disconnected. We have never experienced anything like this dealership's service department before. We are very disappointed and regret coming here and buying $149 oil change packages for our 2 vehicles! Worried that our new purchases of 3 KIAs was a big mistake if this is how Kia's service department operate!! There is so much more but will end our review here. read more

We have purchased 2 Kia Sorento suvs from Rodeo Kia which became Ken Garff Kia. Initially we received excellent service but in the last year I took my Sorento in for a recall, and a mechanic made an error that caused them to have to keep our Sorento for over 2 months and install a new engine and a few other major parts. Then last week our rear driver's window would not go back up. I took it in. A few hours later, I received an email informing me that they did an inspection of my entire Sorento, which I was not informed of nor did I authorize and that there was a huge list of urgent things that needed to be fixed which was over $7,000 worth of work along with a charge of $720.00 to fix the window. Normally my husband would handle all of this but he just unexpectedly passed away 4 weeks before this. I sent this list to a friend who informed me that he was going to pick up the Sorento and would fix the window himself. I ordered the part which costs $69.00. I received a bill by email from Kia charging us $228.00 just to look at the window. I am so hurt and angry that as a longtime loyal customer that I was treated like this and completely taken advantage of as a woman and as a very recent widow. I will never, ever take my Sorento back there even though it is still under warranty. Please beware of their underhanded tactics and over inflated prices especially if you are a woman. read more
