Two years later and the kitchen still looks great. The seams held up perfectly and haven't separated at all. Im not really sure where the horror stories are coming from because that wasn't my experience at all. I got great service at a great price.

Avrio did a professional job with the special quartz pattern I picked out: "Kendal". They came out and measured my walls and outlets with a laser light to get accurate numbers. Then the crew came in and fine-tuned the edges of the quartz to fit perfectly on my cabinet tops and the wall...it looks beautiful! My friends, the contractors, everyone always asked where I got my countertop...it definitely makes a nice statement. I definitely recommend Avrio Surfaces, and I am especially happy with the care and consideration of Yuri Bekchiu, the Sales Consultant that I worked with. He was knowledgeable, always available, and provided follow-up when I needed a piece cut into my window sill and a bar-top table. You will see the pictures speak for themselves!

Wish I went with a different vendor. I used NW Granite when I was doing my remodel. This entailed getting two counter tops for two kitchens as I own a duplex. Issues with them: 1. They truly only want your money and won't respond unless if you pest them to have something fixed. For example, I had 1 unit's counter tops installed and it was obvious at the counter tops didn't match. I took many photos and told them it almost looked yellow/beige. I was insistent that this must have been a different slab. It took a lot of back and forth and instead of replacing it, the owner ended up coming to my house and trying to convince me that it matched despite having two pieces side by side. It was his sales person who honestly said it didn't match. They ended up replacing it for me with no apologies for the hassle or at least providing some credit for the leg work. 2. Another example of not being responsive. I recently had my quartz chipped.. yes, quartz chipped. They never even responded to even provide a solution to this or offer assistance. 3. 1 of the kitchen counter tops was $3500 for a small kitchen with one of their more expensive counter tops (Misterio). They installed it in two different slabs, when it should have been on slab. I had expressed my concern with the SEAM that was right next to the kitchen sink and the installer told me just use Bar Keeper's friend. What? The whole point of quartz was not having to deal with the upkeep. It doesn't stain like marble and there shouldn't have been a seam. This is an example of a company that chooses to make money and try to give you left over scrapes and connect the pieces. Til this day I hate the seam and it constantly gets dirty. Who has time to baby sit a counter seam because a company was too cheap to provide one full slab.

This was a supremely satisfying business experience. During our 44 years of marriage, my wife and I…read morehave purchased seven homes in three States and dealt with many home service providers. Our experience with Maria and her employees at European Stone & Tile ranks with the very best. My wife and I walked in the door of European Stone seeking ideas and help with modernizing a kitchen that was last updated about 20 years ago. The last update created one serious flaw we discovered when we replaced the dishwasher. The dishwasher and stove are at 90 degrees to each other and 12" apart limiting the available stoves to only a few and none of those appealed to us. We had given up on replacing our appliances but decided to just update the surfaces. Then we met Maria. She came to our home and measured our kitchen then asked us to come to her showroom to see the choices we'd have in surfaces. We had replaced carpets last year and she showed us things that fit well with our other rooms and surfaces. We chose those we liked and set the dates for the work. After sleeping on the project I decided that the dishwasher had to be moved before we did the countertops. I discussed this with Maria the morning her carpenter arrived expecting to perform an hour task to remove a breadbox that was fastened to the old counter. I called the office and asked Maria to take on moving the sink base to the space occupied by the dishwasher and replumbing the water lines and drains to work with the new layout. This was a significant last-minute change that would have caused other suppliers I've worked with in the past to have emotional meltdowns. Not Maria. She took a minute to consider what she could do and then told me in a cheerful voice, "It won't be a problem. I'll need to rearrange our schedule, but we can do it!" She asked me to hand the phone to her carpenter (Ron) and she asked him to take on the job. Fortunately, it turned out that Ron is a Master Carpenter and former General Contractor capable of doing the electrical and plumbing work. He removed the old countertops, opened the walls and rerouted the plumbing and electrical, restored the walls, moved the old sink base to its new location and assisted in creating the template for the new countertops. His craftsmanship matches the finest we've experienced. Ron managed to complete this major work revision inside the original schedule, so that our kitchen was completed, including new countertops and tile, on the day we were originally promised. In addition to Ron, six other European craftspeople (counter installers, plumber, tile setter) came to our home to perform work. Every one of them was cheerful and friendly. They were considerate of my wife and I and involved us in decisions whenever their work options were not obvious. They never left the worksite without cleaning the area and left no construction residue inside or outside our home. Their completed work is of the highest quality suitable for custom homes. We also had contact with staff in the showroom/store that matched the considerate and friendly concern for customer experience. This level of care for us as homeowners was unusual in our experience and we attribute it to Maria's leadership as the business owner. She has chosen and trained her staff well. My wife and I are very pleased that we chose to do business with European Stone and Tile and we recommend their work to anyone planning kitchen or bath work.

So far (I did agree to their price) so good, except for the fact that I had to wait 15 minutes initially to place my order because the showroom gal was on the phone. 6 weeks later, no shower arm. I call, get a hold of a guy that answers the phone. He apologizes. 2 weeks later I get my arm. The item in the box is not what I ordered. I call them to find out whassup. They don't even apologize for screwing up, they just give me a phone number of some other plumbing supply place in Bellevue that MAY have the part to add to the arm to make it work. Bottom line, very poor service. They just don't care. Granted I was only a $100 customer (this time). I will not use them for my upcoming remodel that will be big $$$.

I spoke to Don, and he contacted the manufacturer and found that they only sell it by the case. And since they normally don't stock that item, I would have had to purchase all 8 repair kits. Don called me back and told me that my quick fix would cost around $300, and that he didn't feel right having me purchase all 8. He went above and beyond, and found the item I was looking for somewhere else, so that I didn't have to buy the whole case. This type of customer service is rare, and I really appreciated him going the extra mile for me. For this reason, I would definitely use these guys again for any of my I-can-do-it plumbing repair needs. Craig Kirkland, WA

From the beginning Scott communicated with me frequently during the planning phases of my kitchen project. Scott's company had been recommended to me by a tile contractor I trusted and had used previously. I had never installed new counters after a demo of existing granite before, so what I came to understand is that Scott is both the fabricator and the installer-- a definite plus. He takes whatever stone or quartz material chosen and then, after measuring the template himself in the existing space, he then cuts the stone in his workshop to match that template perfectly-- as well as doing the complete demo of existing countertops, including their removal. He's the "all in one" contractor who does the entire project himself, and his experience and expertise clearly shows in every phase of the project-- and his work is top quality all the way through. I was so impressed with his every aspect of his work, and as others have pointed out, his attention to details like smoothing the stone underneath the overhang, and making any needed seams so flawless that you cannot tell where it exists. He is an expert on matching any pattern in the stone/quartz so that everything flows as it should and no seam is visible at all. As well as being a perfectionist with his work, he and his business partner were very professional, courteous, and always kept to the outlined time schedule, and completed cleanup each day. His price was more than fair and very reasonable . In short, he was a joy to work with, and I would highly recommend him for any countertop or stone project, no matter how complicated or expensive it may be. I just wish I'd known of him when previously updating two bathrooms the past couple years.

They are a standard size cabinet sales and install company & do not have custom size cabinets. They didn't have black cabinets that we originally wanted but we do like the dark espresso cabinets we settled on. We also ended up with two deep dead end cabinets vs corner units since they do not do custom sizing. We were, however, highly motivated by their low prices & ability to install both cabinets & quartz counters in one day. The rest of our experience was less important to us than getting a good price and install experience. I noticed a couple earlier reviews marked them down to one star for the customer service. In our experience in the show room, they let you look around independently and don't use high pressure sales techniques; which we appreciated. some of the other reviewers seemed to want a lot of direct personal attention & other sales bells/whistles. If shoppers expect high-end customer service for low priced product, I do see how they can be disappointed. To place an order, take your measurement drawing to the person at the counter. If you use them as installers, they will check your measurements on site prior to install and revise the order, if needed. I do recommend using them to install cabinets, counters, AND pulls since if you make a mistake installing it yourself (drill the wrong holes in the cabinet fronts, etc.) they require you to buy the whole cabinet to replace the parts. They don't sell separate parts like hinges & fronts. We made the mistake of not having them install the pulls & our handyman made a mistake drilling the wrong holes (4" vs 5") for pulls on two drawers. He had to buy two whole cabinets just to replace the drawer fronts. I have marked down half a star for this since they didn't warn us about this policy during our purchase & there was no mention of them installing the pulls during our purchase. Luckily, the cabinets are not super expensive & our handyman thinks he can resell the cabinets with the 4" pull holes. I have further marked down another half star for a couple of small issues during install. 1) They didn't warn us about the very strong & toxic smelling adhesive that would be used for the counter tops. In retrospect, we likely should have been out of the house during countertop portion of install since we all had headaches the next day. 2) There was a small issue with the electrical outlet for the microwave cabinet. They mis-measured where to cut the hole in the cabinet & attempted, to instead, move the electrical. Our electrician popped over during install and told them that wasn't safe. So, they cut an extra hole in the back of the cabinet (where it should have been to begin with) to allow for the outlet. Due to a soffit situation for heating ducts, the right side of the microwave cabinet is permanently closed (as expected) & so we will never see the extra hole at the back of the cabinet & don't really care about it. In all, the price was right for our basement kitchen set-up & has met our expectations.
