The wings here are delicious! It is a pay at register and go sit type of place. It is VERY small and there is no group seating. They do have chairs against a bar where you can eat as you look out onto the street, but that can get hot during the day. There is plenty of parking in that small shopping area. Unfortunately, it doesn't have a restroom. When asked they tell you the closest one is at Jacks across the parking lot. Try to make that trip with two little ones. Hah. overall good place. read more

Came to Alondra hot wings to have an enjoyable date night and eat some wings. Why I'm giving this place 1 star: when our name was written down there was no welcome or proper etiquette; but anyways Had our name written down buy an employee ALFREDO. After waiting over 40 minutes standing right outside the door waiting for our name to be called. Each time ALFREDO would come out, I listened hoping it was our name. After over 40min I realized people that came after us were being seated. So I Went to the front desk to ask ALFREDO, where was my name on the list, I noticed people that came after us were being seated. ( interrupted me during me asking) Without looking at the paper first he said he already called me TWICE. We were standing right outside the DOOR in the old waiting for 40 minutes each time ALFREDO came out to call names I was one foot away from the door. Smh. He didn't even bother to go outside and call our name. If I could give a zero I would. My visit to this establishment is far beyond disappointing. My order was place online but the kitchen blamed me for their inability to accurately create my request. When placing an order they do ask for your phone number. They could have called. In their ignorance I waited an additional 30 minutes to still not have received my order fresh or the way I communicated it. When I asked to speak with the store manager her communication was condescending as well as dismissive and she accused me of being the reason why the order was misinterpreted. Short Review: not worth the money and quality of food went down dramatically. Detailed Review: it's been a couple years since I've been to Alondras and whoa have things changed. Their menu before was expansive but in good reason. They had so many delicious items that I've yet to find anywhere else. I try to order my old favorite to know they got rid of it. Even the server looked at me like I was crazy, she told me we've never had that but I explained that it's still offered as a burger but instead of a meat patty it was chicken breast. I asked her if I could switch or substitute and that was a no go. I go on to read the rest of the menu and all my favorites were gone. So I just ordered the thai chili and chili lime wings. Thai chili was pretty much the same the lime chili just tasted like the original hot. Foods always a hit or miss as well as the service 8 out of 10 times we've come to eat at this location either our food or service was bad if not both. As a regular customer I wanted to give this place multiple chances but have decided to make the farther trip to the one in Montebello. Food and service is day and night difference. Tonight we placed our order and the food was great but our service was as predicted the worse. Our server Chris hasn't been the best even in previous visits. We placed our order and got our appetizer without plates or napkins and when we got up to ask for some another waitress responded with an attitude as if we were asking for something very tedious. We were never checked on by our server to see if our meal was correct or if we needed refills. We asked for the bill and once we got it we place it at the edge of the table with our card and it kept getting overlooked and passed up until we got fed up with waiting so we walked up to the register and it was obvious that it threw them off. Being in food service I personally hold a higher bar and standard for my service but I guess you can't expect courtesy and customer service from everyone in the business even if that's their livelihood. They had such delicious wings! I got bone in chili lime sauced wings. They were covered in delicious Buffalo sauce and came with lime on the side. The wings were so flavorful and crispy. I also had their pepperoni pineapple pizza and fries which were just as delicious! The customer service was great. Our wings got cold really quickly because we were under the AC, but they were happy to give us fresh warm ones. I definitely recommend this restaurant and I will definitely be coming back soon! This place is the worse place when it comes to customer service. The manager from this restaurant (paramount location) needs more management training. She did not allow us to dine-in because we were a party of 7 we asked if we could be split us into two groups, but they just refused to serve us. Really good wings, seriously- they're addicting! Their fries are really good too with those herbs on them, just the best! The service was worse before- really arrogant waiters that got your order wrong, but lately, their service has gotten much better. Their portions too. The wings used to lack meat, but last time, the wings are big and plump! In Cali for a funeral. My sis knows I love wings so she brings me Alondra Hot Wings. They are so good that I want them again before I leave. After the funeral I call and place a phone order on our way back to our hotel. As we get there the Dodger game is on and rather than let our food get cold on the drive we decide to eat there. But since we had a phone order they wouldn't let us eat there. The host mumbles something about a policy of some sort. I tell him you can plate it or just bring us our bag and we will eat it. He seats us. A waitress comes and we order two drinks. A few minutes later the host comes back with our food bagged and tied up and tells us we can't eat it or the manager will get mad. I finish my drink and head to the bathroom. It's the most disgusting bathroom I've seen in a long time. You woulda never guessed that a place that was nice and clean would have a bathroom like that. Hallway smelled mildly of urine. Toilet paper was everywhere including hanging all over and out of the toilet in one stall. I had to use the handicap stall and there was paper all over but at least not all over the toilet. I hover and go only to find the toilet paper dispenser empty. There is a roll of rough paper towels on the back of the toilet. At the sink rather than being in the dispenser there is another toilet roll of rough paper towels tossed on the counter. I'm in the car now. Fries and fried pickles will be nice and cold and wimpy by the time we get back to the hotel. Hoping the wings will still be decent even if cold. read more
