Avoid Axis Appliance Repair at all costs. This company has been an absolute nightmare to deal with. We've been stuck with a malfunctioning refrigerator since December 2024, and despite two technician visits and multiple parts replaced (including dampers, thermostat, fan, and insulation), the problem is still not fixed. The refrigerator still doesn't maintain a consistent temperature, and Axis has offered no real solution--just empty promises of follow-up calls that never happen. Every time we reach out, we're told it's "under review" by their technician or supervisor. It's been months, and we've heard nothing back. This is not just bad service--it's completely irresponsible. They've failed to provide proper communication, effective repair, or even the professionalism to admit the appliance might be beyond repair. At this point, they should have recommended a replacement to the warranty company, but they seem more interested in dragging things out. If you're working with First American Home Warranty and they assign Axis Appliance Repair--demand a different contractor immediately. I was assigned to Axis from my home warranty, First American. A date was picked for service; however I called to reschedule due to a family emergency. A new date was selected and no show! They confirmed over the weekend via text they would be here 1-4, they called at 4 and they aren't coming. I asked why did they wait until the end of the appointment time to call me and was told "a technician called you and you told him you wont be hone until after 5"?!!!!! NO ONE EVER CALLED ME, I NEVER TOLD ANYONE I WOULD BE HOME AFTER 5!!!! In fact the opposite occurred. I text them over the weekend and told them I would not be home after 5 because I had to take a little one to football practice, which is why they set the appointment from 1-4!!!! The 1-4 appointment was confirmed via text. I wait all afternoon and bo communication from them until 4pm to say they aren't coming?'!!!! Its ok, I will ask for someone more professional and respectful of my time (as I am of theirs by sitting home by the phone all afternoon waiting for someone to show!!!) to service my dryer. A little courtesy to let me know before the end of a scheduled appointment time would have been the professional and right thing to do and not lie and say I said something I didnt that was clearly refuted by the confirming text I received over the weekend. Had a fridge panel that needed to be repaired. I had a busy day at work on conference calls and the repair technician shows up, I leave him with the issue and the part that was shipped to my home. He was able to take care of it without any further issue, all independently. He was in and out within 15 mins. The only reason I am not giving it a 5 star is because the time slot I was given was 8-10am and the technician didn't come till 12:45pm and that was when I was extremely busy at work due to back to back calls. 3rd update No I am not who ever you noted. But it shows that most likely after your technician "repaired", he left a leaking gas and Mr... was suicidal to turn on his gas appliance. Well your technian run from my place after typing on his cellular phone that my home will explode if I turn on my cooktop. As he run out of my home gas smell flooded my kitchen which immediately I dial 911. 2nd update The owner of the company sent me a private message. Requested my home address inorder to know the name of the technician in order to discipline him. Are you kidding me or what? Take responsibility and replace my appliances! You were assigned to fix appliances not to make irreparable damages! Please if you care to address to me do it publicly and not on private message. Let the public see how responsible and accountable owner of a company you are. 1st Update after the owner reply! SHAME on you and your company!!!!!!! I had a new refrigerator that broke down. Axis "fixed" it and I have them a five star review. About 2 months later the refrigerator broke down again. It took me 6 days to get a repairman out to look at it again. He was scheduled for 11 am and I got a call at 9 saying that he was going to be there at 10. At 10 I got a call from them telling me he was having car trouble and wouldn't be out until 11. He showed up at 11:30 spent 10 minutes here and said they would need to order a compressor and that would take 3-5 business days. 11 days later I got a call the part had come in and that they wanted to schedule a technician to repair it. They only offered me 2 days. I told them I couldn't do the times and we agreed to have him come on Tuesday at 2:00. On Monday, they called me back and said he couldn't make it then. We eventually agreed on him coming at 3:00 on Friday afternoon. This is now 4 weeks after my 8 month old refrigerator died for the second time. Well Friday arrived and the technician hadn't arrived by 3:30 so I called them. The person answering the phone said he would be by before 6. At 5:50 I called them again. The dispatcher put me on hold and called the tech and told me 6:30. Or he said we could reschedule! He also told me it would be about an hour job. At 7:15 he arrived. At 8:30 I asked how much longer it was going to be "another hour". It got done after 9:30 on a Friday night. This service is beyond ridiculous. I wished I had actually not given a five star rating the first time because the refrigerator wasn't fixed correctly and cost me a few hundred dollars in lost food. Then I have had to wait 4 weeks to get it worked on again and spent all day waiting for the repairman. I am beyond bad words for this company's service! Additionally, none of the 3 technicians spoke English and required a translation app to talk with me. BTW it was a Frigidaire. read more

Dealing with you is painful. I sit on hold for 20 minutes and still cannot get answers to simple questions like"Did you fix the ice maker." I'm told to text but when I do I cannot get an answer to "what caused the problem with my refrigerator?" I asked for a manager and I'm still waiting for a call back. BUT you had no problem taking my payment up front without giving me a receipt that I can use to prove the expense! Finally the dispatcher told me your tech didn't come in because I told him not to. My new dishwasher wasn't draining, and after performing the recommended low level fixes (glass filter, drain hose) I realized I needed help- luckily the machine was still under warranty and I was connected with Axis (Bay Area). I scheduled a repair for my refrigerator's water dispenser through my home warranty company. This contractor was the first to offer an appointment, but they changed the time five times before settling on 5 PM. On 12/14/24, they arrived late at 6:40 PM, inspected the issue, and left a form stating parts would arrive in a week. The next morning, I received a text requesting information about the refrigerator problems, which I had already provided in detail to both the warranty company and the technician. When I followed up on 12/26/24, they claimed they were still waiting for a supervisor's approval for the parts. This company has proven to be unreliable throughout the process. Their poor communication, multiple schedule changes, late arrival, and apparent lack of internal coordination have left me frustrated. As a result, I no longer wish to do business with them and will be seeking alternative service options. read more

My home warranty scheduled this company to come fix my dishwasher. They rescheduled my appointment twice delaying multiple days from my initial filing. When they did come out, the technician was not able to resolve the issue and couldn't fully communicate the problem because of language barriers. Just said it might need a new motherboard. The warranty company made a request for the technician to provide his notes so they can continue troubleshooting or make the call to replace the unit. It's been more than 2 business days and they have not provided their assessment, so my claim is in limbo and I still have a broken dishwasher. If it wasn't free with my warranty, I would use another company. read more

My washing machine leaked water all over my laundry room. Electrolux sent me to this company. First, the technician didn't speak English but worse is that he didn't seem to know what he was doing. When he left, I didn't feel reassured that my washing machine would get fixed. Here we are a week later, multiple calls. Three days after the order hadn't been placed and the male representative was of zero help. He couldn't be bothered. After asking multiple times for reassurance, his blank response was that it will be ordered. I was left unconvinced. Now we are a week later, no calls. Extremely Unprofessional Company and highly not recommended! This company was assigned to me for a washer repair on April 29, 2024, a week later at technician came out to repair the washer and was unable to. He left and never communicated what the issue was with the washer. I had to call my insurance company to have them communicate to this company to figure out what was going on. It was then discovered that there were parts ordered for the washer so that it could be repaired. Two weeks go by and no update on service repair. I then once again had to reach out to my insurance company for an update. I was told that the parts had not been ordered and that they were going to be ordered and then delivered to my home. The parts came 3 days later from Amazon!!! I had to call the company and let them know that the parts came before they would reschedule a technician come out for repairs. We agreed for a Wednesday afternoon between 1 and 3PM. At 1 PM the company calls me and tells me that the technician has requested help with the service repair and would not be able to come out until Saturday morning. After taking time off of work, this was extremely frustrating. Saturday comes and it is getting close to 1p.m, I called the company and i was told that my appointment was changed to 12 - 3 p.m. and it looks like that the technician would be arriving closer to 3pm. This change happened without communication to me informing me of the change! This was a complete disregard of my time and extremely unprofessional. Iska, the guy who answered the phone and scheduled my original appointment for 10-1 suggested moving my appointment to next Saturday if the hours were not OK for me. What's not OK is for me to go entire month without a washer machine and have to pay outside sources for laundry cleaning and your suggestion is to push my service further out!!! I requested to speak with a supervisor (Irene) for the poor service received and of course there is no one available to speak. It's obvious that English is not a first language when it comes to the workers in this company and the barrier makes it extremely difficult to communicate the level of frustration there is and explaining their lack of professionalism.
