Popped in here for a quick late lunch with the bestie and was pleasantly surprised! I loved the decor and ambiance of this place! The mural was giving Wynwood/Miami vibes and I love a reminder of home! We split the Birria Pizza which was definitely enough for two. It was delicious and cheesy and so well seasoned! We also got the guacamole which sadly was lacking salt but once we tracked down a salt shaker on another table it was delicious! The chips were also fab! Service was quick and everyone was kind and helpful! We will be back!

Recently stumbled upon this restaurant while shopping in the area. I'll start by saying that the location itself is a bit obscure and off the beaten path. Improved signage would help but it is a hard location for foot traffic. Now once in the location itself a different story. The service was great, and staff were eager to assist and provide offerings. The Monday specials of $5 margaritas and $10 fajitas were well worth the price point with large portions and good flavors. The marg was not lacking in punch either. While the regular menu items are priced a bit high the flavor was there. I will go back a couple of times and explore the offerings. When warm I know the patio will be a great vibe.

I came here to try the mofongo. I fell in love with it when I went if Puerto Rico and was glad that I could find it locally. The restaurant is large and open. I could see it being good for groups. The decorations are cute and trendy. I did not like that the mofongo included pork and that was not advertised on the menu. I didn't finish my food. Next time I would ask for it without pork or order something else. This is a Latin fusion restaurant with many items to choose from.

I use to be a consistent customer, until these past experiences. My family and I started coming here for the past couple months for taco Tuesday. We normally go to my favorite spot on west market but my boyfriend loves Aye Mi Madre Tacos. For a while, I did too. But as of late they have been dropping the ball. I would order very simple orders, Birria tacos and quesadillas ... TO GO. I'm sure that's where the problem lies. However, every time I get my food, it's always incorrect, leaving me leaving my house again and heading back to the restaurant to fix my order. this is stressful because I do not live close. There were times I didn't get the main sauce to dip the tacos in and other times, I would just get the birria meat and that's it, no veggies, no cheese.... nothing. The prices for these types of mistmakes do not add up!

It was my first time eating here and it was delicious! Service was friendly and attentive. The sweet plantains and empanadas were great. The outdoor seating area is really nice. Looking forward to coming back to try their sushi rolls. Prices seemed a little high but they had half off appetizers when we were there so that made it more reasonable.

New restaurant in greensboro, The ambiance is 5 star , My food was kinda bland, the sauce needed more seasoning for me , If you have a taste for Dominican / Columbia fusion food. This is the place for you. I will go back just to try another menu item like the sushi. I do suggest ay mi Madre for you next date night.

Tucked in the Highwoods shopping area off New Garden Rd is the Latin Fusion restaurant Ay Mi Madre. Upon walking into the establishment, the decor is really modern, clean and nice! There was a bar area off to the left. We were asked if we wanted to sit inside or outdoors. It was really hot so we chose inside. Our waitress was incredibly nice. She recommended their special cocktails and drinks, but we will have to try them in our next visit. I did spot a few cocktails from other patrons around the restaurant and they looked really good! They have wonderful eclectic menu options. You ever see a menu that you would like to try one of everything? They have that here. I had a hard time deciding because everything looked good. It was lunch time, so I tried their shrimp street tacos. Absolutely the best street tacos I've had in a while. The shrimp were seasoned beautifully. The toppings were fresh and the sauce was just the right touch. I ordered a side of fries and requested ketchup. The waitress said they had ketchup, but recommended their special sauces. Oh my gosh...just give me the whole bottle of each sauce. Great recommendation. Gosh those sauces were good. My friend got shrimp fajitas. They were plated so well. It was large, we could have split it. I tasted the beans. The beans were amazing. She said the rice was good and the guacamole was fresh. Yes, I'm coming back. Service and food were great!

This is shrimp in white sauce

The food was very good, honestly better than expected. Tasty, perfectly seasoned, but the presentation exceeded expectations. Service was excellent, and the overall look of the place is inviting. As you can see, I highly recommend it! Give it a try if you haven't yet!

I had a great dinner with friends last night at Ay Mi Madre. I grew up in Miami, Florida, and I am always in search of authentic Latin food in the triad. I am happy to report that Ay Mi Madre definitely hit the spot! I loved the look of the space, and the vibe totally made me feel like I was back in Miami, including the Latin music. They had a lot of fun cocktails, and I would say my only complaint was that drink service was a bit slow - but our servers were super friendly and that made up for it. I had the Mofongo de Camarones which is a traditional dish of mashed fried plantains and I chose to have it with shrimp and a cream sauce. It was absolutely delicious! My girlfriend had it with steak and hers was amazing as well. A couple of girlfriends had various kinds of tacos, as well as rice bowls, and they all loved their food. We were celebrating three birthdays, and the staff came out dancing and waving sparkly lights around and played Go Shawty, It's Your Birthday and we got up and danced with them. It was a super fun evening and I cannot wait to go back and try other dishes... particularly their Latin fusion sushi! I strongly encourage everyone to give this restaurant a try and keep them in business!!!

You can tell the food is 2 days old. Nasty restaurant don't eat there.

Our bartender, LT, was so much fun. Every drink was spot on. An espresso martini for my wife and a bold old fashioned for me. On top of that, LT clearly knows his stuff when it comes to both cocktails and bourbon knowledge. I added a 1oz neat pour of 12yr Weller. Let's just say this place is a Weller lover's dream. The owner is a huge Weller fan and keeps the lounge stocked with pretty much every bottle imaginable. Something that's nearly impossible to find in Greensboro. And then there's the showstopper: a Weller Millennium bottle sitting on display. At $600 for a 1oz pour, it's pure eye candy for me. I'll just admire it from one of the comfy couches or large chairs and keep my wallet happy. Whenever we're looking for a classy evening out in downtown Greensboro, Muddle will be our first stop every time.

They have the most amazing handcrafted drinks that are carefully curated by the entire team and you can really tell the extra love and attention that goes into making this place feel warm and inviting. I also love that they feature local artists in their space, as well as locally sourced ingredients as much as possible. I was lucky enough to spend some quality time with the owner Jocelyn and hearing her story about how Bitters came to be, made this place feel that much more special. These were some of the best drinks I've ever had. Hands down. Definitely check them out - it's a 2 story venue with indoor and outdoor seating and lots of cozy little corners to sit and explore their menu (which has a great selection of specialty drinks as well as some seasonal items). Highly recommend the Paw Paw's Pepsi!! Huge shoutout to Jocelyn, Brian and Jacob for making my visit so special!!

There are no TVs, no loud chaos, it's intentionally designed for conversation. And we really leaned into that... we sat there for hours just talking, and it never felt rushed or transactional. What makes this place stand out is how thoughtful everything is. They have over 60 different bitters, and the drinks are completely handcrafted and customizable. Ours were made by Jacob, and you can tell there's real skill and care behind what they're doing. not just pouring drinks, but creating something tailored to you. But honestly, the highlight for me wasn't even the drinks, although I admit, the drinks were absolutely incredible, but it was the people! I will tell you that I've tried old fashioned several times and never ever liked them. This was the first time in my entire life I've ever actually enjoyed an old fashioned, and ordered another one, on purpose! Get the pawpaws Pepsi. 10/10 We got to meet the owner, Jocelyn, and her partner Brian, and that completely changed the experience. Jocelyn is a real survivor. She's been through things that could've & should have, easily shut this place down or broken her, but instead, she built something meaningful out of it. She's a survivor in every sense of the word. You can feel that resilience in the space. it's not just a business, it's personal. Brian has been a strong, steady support system behind the scenes. Learning more about their story made everything feel more intentional and real, not just another trendy concept. Another thing people don't realize, this place is also a retail spot for home bartenders, with locally sourced mixers, syrups, and unique ingredients you won't find everywhere. It's part lounge, part community space, part educational experience. It's also dog-friendly, cozy, and set up in a way that actually makes you want to stay awhile and connect, whether that's with the people you came with or the people you meet there. Bitters isn't for people looking for a loud, quick night out. It's for people who appreciate good conversation, intentional drinks, and a deeper story behind where they're spending their time. And once you understand that... it hits different.

I think they recently started adding cheese to it too which is good but not really necessary in my opinion. I also tried their garlic parm boneless wings & they were so good. I loved how seasoned & salty they were, although they might be too salty for some people. I really loved it though! Their cocktail menu is also really interesting & creative. It's mostly whiskey of course but they do have other spirits. I tried the peanut butter & jelly Old fashioned and it was surprisingly delicious. It really did taste like a PB&J so I highly recommend. The inside is small but there's a nice outdoor seating area too. This really is one of my favorite places to get food in the area BUT the only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because anytime I've been there remotely close to closing, they definitely let you know & make you feel rushed. I'm not one to go to restaurants last minute when they're closing because I know how that can make it difficult for employees, but being somewhere 45 minutes before they close shouldn't warrant getting rushed. I've been there before just to have a few cocktails at the bar about 45 min before closing & had the same experience. I still really love this place & will keep going (but probably not within an hour or so of closing lol)

I wish I could say that it was worth the wait, but my experience here suggested otherwise. Positives first: Noor is both spacious and stylish with plenty of seating in both the bar and dining areas. Sujan proved to be an attentive and courteous server. That said, the buffet was somewhat underwhelming. It was smaller than those I've found elsewhere in the area. While it offered a solid mix of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, those offerings were the epitome of playing it safe. Only the hakka noodles (not always an Indian buffet staple) and butter chicken (better than average) really stood out. Nothing else, from the tandoori chicken to the daal to the naan, was prepared poorly, but it was fairly forgettable. Granted, buffet food needs to appeal to a wide range of diners with varying levels of spice tolerance, and so I went in not expecting any heat. Take spiciness out of the equation, however, and the flavors still felt subdued. At least the $20 seemed reasonable for what was offered. It's possible that Noor really shines if you order off the regular menu, and so I wouldn't rule out a return here. The next time I want a weekend lunch buffet, however, I think I'll stick to Taaza.
