This spot used to be one of our go to AYCE KBBQ in the Valley. Came back earlier this week and was bummed out of how much has changed. Quality substantially changed, prices went up, and service was confusing. We got orders from other tables and other tables got our orders. The quality of the side dishes and meat isn't worth it. With all the new AYCE KBBQ places popping up in the valley, I wouldn't opt for this one. read more

What is it with Ayce hiring the most inconsistent lazy waitresses ever Daynara i think was her name. This young lady kept walking past us so many times our food never really got there kept ignoring us every time we tried to get her attention. My husband and I were sitting there waiting for our drinks for such a long time until we had to ask someone else to refill a cup mind you she had walked past us multiple times and stared at the cup and never offered anything. most horrible experience ever I usually go here because the food is OK. but I will definitely not be coming back. It really pisses me off especially they're charging $41 per person. You guys should at least have good service that little girl he needs to get fired. read more

If you're a side person, they're not good AND they don't have many options. The meat options and taste were okay, definitely a place you go to if you absolutely can't go anywhere else. I've been here before a handful of times, and would end up waiting a bit to be seated. Got lucky today, and got seated right away for a party of 4! As soon as we got seated our grill was turned on and beverages were brought out. Our food was brought out just as fast as the order got placed. Service from the staff was excellent! Our waitress, Melissa and her peers, were constantly coming over to check up on our table and made sure we were doing well, or if we wanted to order more food. Our grill was frequently changed as soon as is started to get chard/burnt. As well as our empty plates quickly being taken away to make sure we had a clean table. Definitely recommend coming here between 4pm-6pm right before they get swarmed and busy. The only thing I will say that I did not like were the restrooms. I think this place is worth it if you are in the valley. They have a large selection of meat choices and sides. However, the service is not the best. My parents and I came here on a Sunday afternoon (before it got busy). We got seated right away, and they took our first order instantly. After placing your order, the order comes out so fast, especially the meat! Some food items, such as the fried foods, take a little longer for them to come out because on the menu it states "made fresh to order." The guy who was serving our table did not stop by once at all, but came by the other tables next to us. This was really frustrating because he STARED at our table and saw there was no more meat, but did not even ask if we wanted more to order. From that point on, we had to flag any person we saw just to get more food. That was disappointing. On top of that, the guy forgot to place some of our sides in so we never got them. For 3 people, it was about $120 (no drinks included). Will I come back here? Probably not :( read more

And I think I'm never coming back the waitress was terrible she wasn't seen! me and my friends were waiting forever for her and she never came when she came and gave us our check. Went here on a busy day (Valentine's Day) and only had to wait 20 minutes. They were very fast with bringing our order to the table. I like the fact that they offer steamed egg, however I feel that it was lacking flavor. I think the meats were okay. They have a wider range of side selections than meat. There was a limit to the amount of shrimp you could get, they were also peeled (I personally like them whole) I feel like there are better kbbq spots out there for the same price if not less. They have a pin ball room in the back. It feels dark and underground. I kind of like the vibe. You go in through an arcade waiting room so there are no widows. When you're done eating they give you frozen yogurt and thats kind of the best part about it. I don't think this would ever be my first option for kbbq, nor would I seek out to eat here again, but I also would never say no to kbbq. read more

My parents LOVE this chain. I prefer making the trek to Ktown or Thirsty Cow but this place is decent for the valley, and is comparable to Gen if not slightly better. We actually like the West Hills location more (service is top notch, spacious parking, more ventilation as it's a larger restaurant, and it's cleaner) but we happened to be in the area. Service here is commendable here though, but not consistent. Food is OK. I think the quality of meat is masked by the heavy marinade of the meat. I will say what's unique about this chain is that there is a large variety of sides here. BUT they serve the noodles and fried rice in relatively large bowls and I rarely see tables finish it, so I highly recommend asking for half orders if you don't want to waste food. Try coming at opening to avoid the crowds and smokiness. For a party of 3 on a Monday at lunch, it came out to $83.85. We got the garlic bulgogi, beef brisket, garlic/lemon pepper shrimp, spicy kalbi, black pepper beef, spicy calamari, and beef tongue. Not the biggest fan of bulgogi nor the steak. For appetizers, spicy tofu soup and steamed egg is a must. Mom likes the vegetable tempura (yay sweet potato), shumai (shrimp filling?), and gyoza. I have been here about ten years ago when I was working in the area and finally today I went back with my family to have dinner. It was so busy but we were seated within 15 minutes. When we were leaving the line was longer. I guess it's a very popular place in Van Nuys. We got a few kinds of beef, fried rice, rice noodles, drunken noodles, corn, steamed eggs and more can't remember it all. I believe it was $39.99 per person. With tax and tip we paid $50 a person but let me tell you we were stuffed. Good customer service, specially the hostess who was friendly and helpful. The only thing I didn't enjoy much was the smell of burning meat and it felt like the ventilators were not working properly cause there was smoke everywhere. We been in this restaurant on Saturday we where waiting 20 min to any one to serve us finally when some one approach us she got our order all wrong we receive partial of what we order all wrong and the order keep coming all whatever we didn't order finally when we start to eat we find out a black hair in our fried rice we call one of our many different people that services us and show him the hair in our fried rice he call the supervisor which keeps saying that is not hair after we separate the fried rice from the hair he admitted that indeed it was hair there was no apology in his dictionary just and that what he said if you don't like it you can leave and you don't have to eat here we where very confuse like it was our fault that we find hair in the food All of this event was handled unprofessionally other then the fact that if we find hair in the food what else we will find next time please be careful what you eating in this place you never know what you're going to find in your food read more

This is still my favorite Korean barbecue spot the food is always delicious. The timing is always good. The customer service is excellent in the entertainment in the back by the bar is also very very nice and so much fun. The spicy pork is delicious. The brisket is good. I just learned today is that the brisket when it comes unseasoned you can ask them to put seasoning on it or any type of sauce. Place is always clean in the bathroom is too. Surprisingly haven't tried this KBBQ chain till now. A few of my friends have brought it up but we've always just gone to GEN which is also closer to us. Finally got to try this after doing a photoshoot with @richardesque and he recommended this place. It's been maybe half a year since we've had kbbq so it was refreshing. We got here super late with about an hour or so left till they closed. Luckily we already knew what we pretty much wanted and didn't take long to order at all. We went with double orders of the Beef Belly, Spicy Pork, Regular Bulgogi and Garlic Bulgogi. We also got sides along with Gyoza, spicy garlic noodles, and the potato salad. It was odd that we had to ask for all the sides but also ask for kimchi. Seemed like a standard thing for kbbq, no? The highlight of the entire meal was probably the garlic bulgogi. I have never seen that on the menu other than spicy or regular. The garlic is a game changer and tasted amazing! They also give you complimentary yogurt cups at the end with your bill. Pretty nice! Ayce Gogi is one of my favorite kbbq buffets. I've been here a couple times with my family and whether it's a weekend or weekday, the restaurant is usually packed. My favorite dishes to order at Ayce Gogi are the beef belly, short ribs, combination fried rice, and spicy ramen. In my opinion, Ayce gogi has the best ramen for a kbbq spot. The ramen is super flavorful and the noodles are cooked slightly al dente which gives it a nice bounce when chewing. I love the beef belly because of its fat to lean meat ratio. At the end of every meal, I look forward to the little froyo cups they give out. The coolness and tanginess of the yogurt is a nice contrast to the warmth and smokiness of the kbbq! read more

AYCE Gogi is one of the most authentic experiences you can have in the area. It's packed with families and all cultures, the food is plentiful and you don't get hassled to finish quickly. I found the quality of the food to be great and we tried everything in the menu. Usually in other all you can eat places the food all taste the same. Not here! Every single dish had its own fantastic flavor and you can dip in different sauces. You had me the pepper and sesame seed oil sauce! The outdoor area seemed a bit sketchy, like I wouldn't be caught there alone at night, but I'd go back with friends to have that taste again.
